Il Melograno is an absolutely beautiful hotel in Monopoli with the most romantic and naturally beautiful details. The staff is so nice and helpful and surprised us with the most wonderful fruit basket and champagne to celebrate our wedding. The breakfast is an absolute must and has a huge selection of fresh food that is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Monopoli!

This is a lovely hotel but not nearly as nice as one we stayed at a few days early for less money. The best parts of our stay were Francesco our masseuse and the Tamerici beach club. Francesco gave me an amazing Thai massage. Best body work I have ever had. My husband got a foot massage that included the entire body. He loved it. At the beach club, everything was great. Just remember to bring water shoes as there are a lot of rocks when you swim. The staff at the restaurant were so friendly and warm. The food is excellent with many delicious gluten free options.

The grounds are fantastic and the location is nice. I really liked the tennis court, the breakfast and food at dinner.
However, the service is really mediocre (apart from the sommelier who is top-notch, the housemaids and the hotel porter who were all very kind) - everyone seems a bit annoyed if you ask something, and it does not feel like a luxury hotel at all.
In addition, the spa is old and the massage rooms quite unappealing.
Finally, the room is ok, but with no particular charm.
It’s such a shame, because the hotel has potential, but it needs some renovation and considerable service improvement.

Home away from home. It felt so good to be here, everything to make you comfortable surrounded by ancient olive groves. The service, the great recommendations by the reception and the booking they made for a cheese tour and olive oil tours were wonderful peeks into the farm life in Puglia.
It's a great central location to discover Puglia. They have a very nice spa, fitness center, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools. Feels like somewhere to just hangout for a week or two. Close to beaches in nearby Monopoli. We had dinner at their sister property SaleBlu, amazing views.

the strutture is incredibile. the rook are big, the Oliver trees fascinating. the space amazing, the staff very friendly and polite. the restaurant full of delicious taste. is missing one star only because of too many reservations to be done to get in the pool, to bus, to sauna and the big queue at the breakfast. but perhaps the problem is now the covid. but please go

It was an absolute dream staying at Il Melograno. The place is full of charm, with trees and vegetation of any kind. Rooms are beautiful, as well as food, staff and the pool.
We also enjoyed their private beach Tamerici, and the amazing restaurants Saleblu.
We will surely come back here, and can classify this as one of the most relaxing and charming place my husband and I have been!

The staff were awful. It is not their fault. It comes from the management. Not a relaxing place. Ordering a beer, or an evening snack feels like hard work. The place isn’t even that nice. Just not pleasant.

Our travel agency recommended I celebrate a milestone birthday here with the assurance that I would be looked after well. From checkin to checkout there was no interest or anything special interns of service.
Our room was dark, the door didn’t close without having to put your body against it & quickly locking it. The tv didn’t work & the basin broke.
Quite a way to celebrate a milestone birthday with the guy checking us out saying come again next year & we will ensure there is a cake!
