Reviews
The hotel’s main strength is its location, directly on the beachfront promenade, providing immediate access to the sand and sea. The rate includes one umbrella and two sun loungers. The beach is well maintained and highly enjoyable, and each umbrella features a lockable compartment with a key band from reception, allowing guests to store valuables securely while swimming.
Accommodation in a Deluxe Room was clean, well maintained, and offered a partial lateral sea view. It can be considered “three-star superior.” The main limitation was the door opening directly onto the corridor, which made room noises audible outside. Housekeeping was excellent, with daily cleaning performed to a high standard.
Facilities are functional but have limitations. There is only one lift, often resulting in long waits, particularly for guests on higher floors or with mobility restrictions. General maintenance is adequate but not at a four-star level, with some areas in need of repainting or improved finishes. The outdoor pool area is pleasant, with well-arranged loungers and seating, and the option to enjoy drinks by the pool adds to the experience. Dining areas are suitably arranged, and outdoor seating is available.
Parking is included but limited on-site; overflow spaces are available 500 meters away. On-site parking has numerous trees, which caused significant resin deposits on vehicles during a ten-day stay, requiring time and expense to remove. Some tree maintenance would be advisable to prevent damage.
The hotel’s greatest weakness is its food. Presentation was appealing, but ingredient quality and preparation were often poor, with meals frequently under-seasoned or recycled from previous service. Over several days this practice became evident, reducing freshness and overall appeal. Culinary quality cannot be rated higher than one star.
In conclusion, this property offers good value for money when expectations are aligned with a three-star standard. Strengths include the beachfront location, well-maintained beach, pool area, and excellent housekeeping. Weaknesses include limited lift capacity, minor maintenance issues, parking challenges, and low food quality. Guests are advised to book bed and breakfast only and take precautions with car parking. With these considerations, the hotel can still provide an enjoyable seaside holiday in Italy.
Good:
- Great location (1 minute walk to the beach)
- Reserved sunbeds on the beach
- The pool was nice
- Friendly staff by the pool and great housekeeping
Bad:
- One parking is 10 minute walk away from the hotel (not good in case of rain and you have to bring all your stuff to the room immediately, because your car is far away)
- Furniture is not "vintage" but old and just painted over
- You can hear noise from the hallway and neighbouring rooms
- Junior suite is not really a suite, but just a bit bigger room
- No pool or beach towels provided (you can rent them for 20€)
- It's actually more a 3 star hotel, not 4 star (I've been to 4 star Hotels before, that's not it)
Bathroom clean fresh and modern. Good powerful showers.
Room clean and well maintained with only fault being some scuffed and shabby looking furniture.
Location and access to beach is a full 10/10.
Breakfast was a bit average.
Staff all very warm, friendly and helpfull.
Fleet of free bicycles needs to be replaced or, at least, better maintained.
The public area is not clean, except the lobby. The stares are really dirty. The cleaning is without any professional service. Dustpan and brush…no words.
I will not come back for 100 %. The night receptionist doesn’t not speak English or neither German. He is not helpful at all. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Stay away!!!
Staff v helpful.
Room clean and comfortable.
The location is quiet and about 5-10 minutes walking time away from places such as shops, restaurants or cafes
A big thank you to Restaurant Team - Seif Team - very good and educated peoples.
Thank you for making us feel appreciated and welcome.
