We recently stayed in a suite at Falkensteiner Jesolo for a couple of nights. At over €1,500 per night, you’d expect something close to ultra-luxury. What we got was… mostly just ultra-expensive.

Let’s start with the positives:
- The pools are excellent — clean, attractive, and well-managed.
- The poolside staff are attentive and friendly. Honestly, the only area where service felt truly 5-star.

Now, everything else:
- The suite itself? Spacious, yes — but that’s where the luxury ends. No special amenities, no welcome extras. Just a bigger room with basic fittings.
- Vanity kits aren’t refilled, even after multiple nights.
- Turn-down service is hit-or-miss — one night they showed up to close the curtains; the next, no one came at all.
- We found a wet and dirty towel among the supposedly clean ones under the sink. For this price point, that’s inexcusable.

The restaurant (half board) experience felt like a low-effort afterthought:
- Chaotic service — we had to ask three times to get a menu.
- Buffet is overloaded with sweets but lacking real food.
- Simple Italian dishes are okay, but anything remotely complex is dry and unbalanced.
- Let’s not talk about fine dining — it simply doesn’t exist here.

Then there’s the pricing:
- €8 for 5cl of the cheapest Port, which retails at €9 for the whole bottle.
- Water is complimentary only on the first night. After that, it’s charged — even in a suite. A small touch, but revealing.

Overall, Falkensteiner Jesolo looks the part in photos, and the pool area lives up to it. But beneath the surface, there’s a lack of attention to detail, inconsistent service, and a serious disconnect between price and experience.

We left with the feeling that this is a hotel where you pay for the illusion of luxury, not the reality of it.

The rooms are spacious and well designed, the restaurant offers a great variety of tasty dishes, and the staff is professional and kind.
I must highlight the “sauna world” and the panoramic sauna, it was a blessing on a rainy day.

It's been a frustrating experience for me and my family staying last week at Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo. We were expecting a great service and delicious Italian food, as we always get in Venice, but this was not the case.
- Starting from the room. Room was not clean, especially curtains near the bed were very dirty (supposed to be white, but they were not). Smoking is allowed at the balcony, so almost every time you open a window, you can smell someone is smoking nearby. The sinks drained very poorly, water stagnated.
- The biggest disappointment was food. This was not a real Italian cuisine, quality was ok, but the food was not tasty at all. Especially comparing to our previous experience in Venice. They reheat food for dinner instead of cooking fresh. Maybe except pizza, but their pizza is not good either (too oily). We suggest you to go out and find a better authentic restaurant close to the hotel.
- Service is quite slow. In restaurants they speak very poor English (for a 5-star hotel we expected the opposite), often don't understand the order, often confuse something. Again, quite frustrating. People at the reception desk were helpful, but we didn't feel a friendliness (like one always can feel it in a good 5-star).
- Hotel's interior is very cheap. There were not live plants - only plastic ones! Never seen something like that in other 5-star hotels.
- The only positive side is a location. The hotel is in the first line close to a big sandy beach, very clean. Couldn't complain about it.
So overall we were disappointed, and are not coming back to this hotel.
P.S. After leaving the hotel we had a very nice delicious dinner in Venice to heal our damaged souls.

Great place to stay. We were happy in every regard: we stayed during the winter months and they showed us different rooms to choose from. They have a car service so and drive you the car in front of the entrance if you need it. The breakfast buffet is huge and the service is very nice and quick. The spa area with saunas is very large and they even open the door for you and make sure the floor is always clean. There's also a huge sand beach in front of the hotel, so we will come back when it is warmer.

Our one-night stay was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. The stunning views from our room provided a serene and captivating backdrop, making our time there truly special. The staff’s friendliness and attentiveness were remarkable—they were always available, anticipating our needs, and handled every request with care and efficiency. Their professionalism was evident in every interaction, making us feel valued as guests. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had a peaceful and rejuvenating night’s sleep. Every aspect of the stay reflected attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.

I was with my child (3 years old) at the hotel in August 2024. I liked almost everything! The room (suite) is really like on the photos. My child had a separate room and bathroom. The staff proposed me an additional fence for the child's bed. And it helped a lot. The terrace is very nice and big.
The swimming pools are great for children different ages. The water temperature is amazing and different in the pools.
The beach and the staff there are very nice.
The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is super. You can always find healthy and delicious food.
But I would improve some details at the hotel:
1. My child opened the room door very easily and went out twice. It would be nice to have an additional locker that is located higher on the door. For safety reasons for children.
2. Telephone in the room has a very bright light that is on the whole night. I put a pillow on it, but it didn't help very well. The same with an air-conditioner if you want to change the temperature in the night.
3. It would be nice to have a seat disinfection in the WCs, because of children.
4. The cleaning staff uses a lot of chemical liquids in the children club especially on the table where children play. And the liquid smells a lot in the morning.
5. I was afraid to leave the child alone on the terrace of the room. The fence of the terrace is not enough safe for small children. They could climb on fences.
6. There are no WCs and changing rooms at the swimming pools and the beach. The nearest WC is on the second floor of the hotel. For children it's impossible to use.
Thank you!
I would love to come back to the hotel next year!

Loved riding the bikes out for dinner. Staff was so nice. Enjoyed our time and will definitely be back.

The food service at the hotel is very inconvenient. There is a very small selection in the buffet for a 5-star restaurant. Water is served for a fee, €5. Imagine you come for breakfast or dinner, which is included in the cost of your room, priced at €1500 per night, and they tell you that water here is charged. I don’t mind paying €5, but this is not something a hotel of this level should be making money on. Not to mention that their menu has only 2-3 dishes available for dinner or breakfast, everything else is for an additional fee. Additionally, orders take 30-40 minutes to be served.

Great hotel with a close sea. The food was very delicious, and I really loved the option, that you can choose your food in the Swedish table and then, if you are still not full, you can order food from the menu. The room was very good, noise isolated and great condition.

Falkensteiner hotel is good choice if you wanna have a great and peaceful vacation. Staff are extremely perfect, friendly and asking you how are you, talking with you, fluently speak English 😊. Spa in hotel is also one of the best choice if you wanna relax after beach. We glad that we can chose any destination hotel Falkensteiner around the world , we know that this is big quality, massive breakfast , lunch or dinners. 😊 Everything clean, everything lined up, manager in place, making sure people have a good time. Restaurant in hotel is also good, prices kinda overpriced….What I would read is that if the staff take you to the loungers with towels, you can't choose the first and second row because they are only for people from the suite. Which we understand, but people often bypass that , or don't even ask, they automatically go to the first row, which is cool, we did that too because no one checks it. Thank you , see you soon in another country 😊
