A perfect place to check out Lucca! Staff was very helpful and it was easy access to train station and walking around.

Location - excellent for public transport. We used bus and train to reach the hotel and both stopped at the Stazione which is a 3 minutes walk to the hotel. The hotel is good and affordable. Staff was very helpful storing the luggage, giving information and even a plug because ours did not work.

This traditional Italian hotel next to Lucca train station has a long history, as I learned from newspaper clippings. GREAT location-a few minutes walk into the old town of Lucca. Incredibly friendly staff, nice breakfast. You just can't beat this location. Everything was very clean, the hotel is on a nice, quiet street with parking out front (sometimes you need to park in a nearby lot but we got lucky) and it made for a very pleasant stay. 15 minute walk to the train station to visit Florence as well.

Booked this hotel weeks in advance as within walking distance of city walls. Booking was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice and changed to another hotel roughly a kilometre further out. Eventually reinstated after a chaotic morning of phone calls and wasted taxi journeys. A great pity as it turned out to be a pleasant place to stay.

Very nice personell at Check in and check out. Breakfast was very poor and the water were not that helpful and friendly. My room was not nice and smelled for high humidity. Price was extremely high for such a room and breakfast. I would stay in this hotel, if I don’t find other alternative

Unreliable, cancelled a booking made 4/5 weeks in advance. Hotel was booked because within walking distance of Lucca centre. Management changed booking to another hotel not within reasonable distance of centre. When we arrived at alternative hotel Bernardino had cancelled that booking and had “found rooms” with them. Half a day wasted!

We spent a happy week at the hotel as a base for a family reunion. Easily walkable into Lucca, parking easy outside and with overflow, and nice breakfast in the patio. Friendly staff with great recommendations. Only complaint is that rooms are rather basic, could use a refresh.

The property was very nice and friendly staff. It is far from the train station (30 minutes walk); 10 minutes to the entrance of the old city.

Appartments are beautifully clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Great location in central Lucca so very convenient with shops and amenities close by. Only drawback is that narrow streets inevitably mean some noise as restaurants close. However, windows are well shuttered so noise is minimal. We loved our three nights here and will go back again. Lovely boutique hotel suite that feels like an apartment. It is centrally located within Lucca. Interior is adorned with antique furnishings throughout, adding to the Italian charm. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful and warm. The rooms are clean and beautiful, the staff is helpful and friendly and have been a great resource for Lucca. The location is within the city walls and close to everything. Bicycle rentals, restaurants and shops are all close by. Breakfast is brought to your room in the morning with a smiling Allesandro. Great Great Great Place... Can't say it enough....

We LOVED it. Great hotel, great atmosphere, lovely restaurant, huge room, great scenery, amazing staff, new bathrooms.

We stayed with a large group and it couldn't have been better. The location and the villa are absolutely beautiful, food was great, but most of all the service was fantastic. A big thank you to Adele, Emilio and Cosmin and the whole team for making our trip a success, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of if!

The service is perfect, all the supporting team members were trying to meet our needs. They never tried to apply the restriction they might have on us. We just did crazy parties every night. The most important thing is the cat "Alfonso", he is soooooooooooooooooooo cute! I want to say sorry to him as we disturbed his good sleeps of at least 3 nights.

We stayed at Villa Rinascimento for two weeks in August 2021 and absolutely enjoyed our stay in this enchanting place. Our room in the "Dependance" was simple yet cosy and clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. What we loved in particular was the great location of this accommodation (a drive of only about 15-20 minutes to Lucca and Pisa each)!

Stayed there first when it opened in 1995. It was heavenly. Stayed there again some 15 years later, it didn’t disappoint.

I would put 5 stars if more care was given to the area around the "dépendances", it looked abandoned during my quick stay. Otherwise the room was clean, the swimming very nice and the breakfast really ok. Personnel are most friendly and effective. Good value for money.

What a wonderful gem of a place to stay! The property is in a peaceful location out in the Tuscan countryside and is full of charm and character. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delicious. The two owners, Caterina and Paolo, were incredibly kind and accommodating. I can’t recommend this accommodation enough.

Just absolutely lovely. I phoned ahead and they had space for us. A 7.5m motorhome in the shaded garden. We stayed for 3 nights and had breakfast in the farmhouse which was a lovely experience. Cycled into Lucca in 10 mins along the river. We bought some wine of course 😀

Very nice and helpful hosts with great area around. Calm and peaceful place to spend few days. Great breakfasts, local olive oil, wine, vegetebles and much more. Swimming pool to cool down available. Close to Lukka. Highly recommended :)

Beautifully converted farmhouse in the olive groves and vineyards. Fantastic home produce from wine to cakes and eggs to marmalades. Very friendly and helpful owners and rooms and gardens lovely and peaceful.

A 5 min walk to the town centre, clean with an excellent breakfast. Parking facilities. Marina our host was friendly and helpful. A delightful host.

A very nice room,clean and vintage romantic.There is a beautiful garden where can enjoy your coffee with the sound of birds. Breakfast was very good also with many choices and the owner Mis Marina was so helpful and kind. I absolutely recommended.See you next year!!!

Great location just outside the town centre wall and excellent service from the host at the B&B. It's also great that they have free bikes available for cruising around the city. The host, Marina, was excellent and always went the extra mile in order to make our stay a pleasure. I highly recommend this place!

Small B&B but it is very good place to stay at Luca. The wall is very near, very calm and very kind. The room is perfect.

Very nice and quiet bed and breakfast. The owner is very friendly and took good care of us. The room was very clean and cosy. The bathroom is also new and clean. The breakfast that the owner served us was varied, local and very good. We can only recommend it and would stay there again at any time.

Beautiful place! We've tried many many B&Bs already with my boyfriend during our travels, but this one definitely worth a 5 stars, 10/10. Extremely nice host, amazing, comfortable, spacious rooms and free garage for the car. The breakfast was rich and fresh, this place offers everything that you can expect from a B&B. Plus Lucca is a marvellous place to visit.

Beautiful peaceful spot, just outside of Lucca. Very clean and charming rooms with a splendid view, a delicious Italian breakfast was served extra early so we could catch our early morning flight.

This place really is something different. It's got a really cool design and the suite is massive. It's very calm and probably 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Lucca but you get a peace and quiet that you probably won't get inside the walls. The breakfast is nice and the two staff members I dealt with were very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Your hotel was wonderful,we loved all the paintings on the walls and the wrought iron four poster bed with historical helmets on the side for lights . The bathroom was lovely. But most of all the staff were fantastic and so helpful. When we come back will definitely request to stay in the room that overlooks the garden with a roll top bath. Very nice place to stay couple of nights. A direct route to walk to the gate Elisa of oli town Lucca. I strongly recommend. The staff is also very friendly, helpfull and nice.

The place is great for vacation. All the people we met were really kind and willing to help us. As for the rooms - the main disadvantage were quite thin walls, which makes you hear people in the surrounding rooms. Unfortunately, this was crucial to preserve the unique style of the rooms. Other than that - really happy with the stay.

It has a beautiful pool and gardens and lovely rooms and is about a 17 min stroll from the gates of the walled town, and 20 mins walk from the train station. Really lovely proprietor was so friendly and helpful when we arrived late yesterday. Parking is safe if a little nArrow to access! Room was comfy, light and airy and the bathroom small but functional. Next door is a very good pasticceria for breakfast. Recommend this place for Lucca.

Best hotel we stayed at in two weeks in Italy. Proud family owners of a historic building who doted on us and made us feel like family.

Excellent very welcoming and good location to walk in to Lucca

Small hotel near the station but no rail noise at night that I heard. Be mindful though there is a rail overpass to cross to get there from the station so it can be challenging for somebody with heavy luggage or mobility issues as there is no lift. There is no lift in the hotel either but staff is willing to help. My single room was specious. Sheets and towels clean. Unfortunately the walls showed...

Make certain that you get a room in the main building, our first room was awful, nothing on the walls, cold and cell like. After talking to the front desk we were moved to the main building, Much much nicer room. Good breakfast.

We loved this beautiful hotel in Lucca. It is within easy walking distance of everything: the train station, shops, restaurants, churches, yet still in a quiet street. Pretty good place for an budget stay in the historic part of Lucca. Room was specious, good beds and bathroom. The room is not soundproof: you can hear people from the hall and from the street.

The hotel rooms are pretty and clear,compared to other 2 stars hotels,and they do speak english (wich could be helpfull).Also wothy a mention that they give you a map of the town and a quick guidance about the most popular and finest structures and restaurants :D

Simple, clean, easy walk to old town. Great if traveling on budget and by car

Like most places in Italy it is a challenge finding your hotel. Once found it was a very nice place. Our private bathroom which we misunderstood is a private bathroom down the hall. All in all a good place to stay.
