Hotel fairly modern, but lacked facilities, like a swimming pool with spa and bar to relax in after a hot day in town. Rooms are fairly spartan in terms of decor and comfort. Not much in area to investigate. Probably ok for single night business users, but could do better for holiday makers, which we were.

My father and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Ilaria in Lucca. It's location and proximity to all that Lucca has to offer couldn't be beat! The service was great and the continental breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

Hotel Ilaria is a nice hotel in the city center of Lucca. Parking available. We had a spacious room in the dependance building across the street. Fantastic bed, very clean bathroom with a good shower. Excellent breakfast and free biles to make a city tour. We will be back

This is a lovely hotel in the most beautiful city. We spent three days in Lucca decompressing after our daughter’s wedding. The hotel was well-situated on a lovely square with cafes all around. The staff were amazing, breakfast was excellent. The only very slight downside was the room layout was a bit quirky and dark, there were only two small windows. But overall I’d definitely return!

We had the most lovely time with friends at the roof top bar at sunset prior to an excellent dinner in the dinning room . The views from the rooftop bar of the city are breathtaking, the service, drinks and hors d’oeuvres, wonderful. And the Puccini suite # 108 overlooking the Puccini concert hall and plaza was devine, large, modern and extremely comfortable . Can’t wait to return to enjoy the hotel...

Lovely, peaceful atmosphere with great view. Delicious food and excellent champagne at a fair price - and the service was absolutely delightful. We visited several times during our stay and we'll be back at this hidden gem at our next visit. This hotel has the potential to be so much more- but feel it fell short. I am titanium lifetime and my husband is platinum ambassador-so we are quite accustomed to Marriott properties. My friend and I loved staying in La Luna. The location is superb, and the staff are amazing! The hotel was so charming, even down to the giant room keys you can leave behind the desk. The breakfast was simple but got the job done. The beds are a little hard and pillows a little thin, but staff kept our room nicely tidy. Our AC didn’t work, so we slept with our windows open. This is a gorgeous, quaint hotel in a great location just off the main street in Lucca and a short distance from access to the city walls. We visited the Tenuta already 5 times and now we are even celebrating our wedding there. The view is amazing as the hotel is settled in the middle of the vineyards. There are only around 10 rooms, which makes the amtmosphere in the hotel very familiar and warm. The personell is very kind and attentive, especially Eleonora! Very comfortable and friendly. I broke my ankle and could not stay in previously booked apartment. This resort was the best thing that could have happened. Genuenly amazing staff, everyone was super friendly I sprained my ankle during my vacation (had nothing to do with the hotel), the manager (Stefano) did not only help me get an ambulance to the hospital, but he also came and picked me up and drove me back from the hospital, as well as offering us a swap to a room on the ground floor, so i didnt have to limp up the stairs. We were based in the tuscanian hotel as a family celebrating our son's wedding in a villa about 15 minutes away. The tuscanisn was the perfect place for our stay. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were looked after from morning till not by the most helpful staff. I would recommend the tuscanuan without hesitation and will definitely back.

The Tuscanian hotel is in a very good location. Everything is just a few hundred metre walk away. During the day you’ll hear classical music from the nearby music school, of an evening it’s very quiet. We stayed in the executive suite and enjoyed our terrace views as depicted. We had the most amazing stay at Villa Le Preziosa. The rooms was so beautiful and clean, air condition worked perfectly. The atmosphere around the Villa was so wonderful and the garden was so peaceful. Breakfast was amazing too! The service was as great as everything else.

The Villa is very private and located a short drive away from the Walls of Lucca and the surrounding areas are easily accessible. Recommend having your own car if interested in leaving the property. Stayed for one night at the tango hotel after a problem with our reservation at a different hotel.. The owners were wonderful. Met us at the other hotel to escort us to their hotel. We last visited Lucca six years ago, and we returned this year to find Tangohotel better than ever. The third floor patio has been completed, and it is modern, functional, and comfortable, with a view up Via della Formica of the cathedral tower. Tangohotel is a sturdy, very clean, and well-maintained alternative to pricey conventional hotels, and we would never consider staying anywhere else in Lucca...

If you are visiting Lucca for the LSF summer festival this is a great find. Just a 10 minute walk to the big stadium and 15 to the one in the square. The rooms are quite small but really well equipped with air conditioning and the hosts could not have done more to make us feel at home. They even extended check out to help us with post Blur recovery!!

Very nice hotel, the building is lovely renovated and everything is functionnal. The owners are very nice and accomodating and the price is reasonable. It is not too far from the city center of Lucca but conveniently situated and close to the station. We used the hotel as a base camp for a 3 day trip around Tuscany and we really appreciated it.

Everything was perfect. The room was comfortable and had a patio. The upstairs rooms had a terrace. A very quiet location with a pool and a 10-minute drive from Lucca. The staff was very friendly. They had breakfast and dinner service, but we didn't use it. The only downside was that the ground-floor rooms were a bit like a basement due to the shape of the grounds, and there were more mosquitoes.

Hotel Carignano is a perfect hotel to stay in with their great staff, easy check in, a location that is very amenable to the walled old town Lucca (tip: free parking at Piazzale Don Franco Baroni. It's less than 5 minutes walk to the walls from there.) The breakfast buffet has ample and a variety of foods to select from. A truly great hotel to stay in and enjoy all that Lucca has to offer!!

Long weekend in Lucca. Nice and clean hotel. The staff was helpful with what we asked. Small furnished rooms, and no possibility to sit there. Would have liked to have had glass in the rooms. Unfortunately there were roadworks in the area, so planned excursions by bus were cancelled. Impossible to get a taxi back to the hotel from Lucca city center, which resulted in a 6 km long walk in the dark.
