We recently spent a fantastic week at the Hotel Capri. All the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. We booked a room with balcony and lake view and the scenery is just stunning. The food at breakfast and dinner was absolutely superb, and it was so lovely eating at the tables on the terrace with a view of the lake. There is great pool area and also a gym on site. Quite a few steps up to the hotel but it's a great location with just a short walk into the town. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a holiday in Malcesine.

Hotel Capri should be a 5 star hotel. Starting with the location, it is less than 10 minutes from the town centre, situated at the promenade. This makes for amazing views from your room and at the dining room.
The breakfast selection is great and the staff are happy to help you with any dietary requirements. Enrica was particularly helpful and provided an excellent service. Every member of staff was friendly, approachable and always said hello. We truly got the feeling that if you needed or wanted anything they would make it happen. The service made the holiday truly memorable.
The rooms are very spacious and clean. Would recommend the lake view, it is amazing to see the view every morning - however if you are looking to save, you will see the view at breakfast every morning.
The pool is also clean & there are plenty of loungers. There is also a bar service at the pool meaning you can relax and get drinks delivered to your loungers. Price wise these are very reasonable.
They also offer free use of the spa (jacuzzi and sauna) in designated slots. This means you can enjoy the facilities to yourself for an hour. They also have a gym (however this was ok for cardio but not much for weightlifting).
As a side note, if you are struggling to pick where to stay in Lake Garda I highly recommend Malcesine. We visited all other nearby towns and Malcesine was by far our favourite area, it’s small enough where you can enjoy the tranquility but large enough that you can go out and enjoy the nightlife. Limone is beautiful and good for a day trip but not much else to do there, and in my opinion Riva is overwhelmingly large 😂 We never had a bad meal in the town and the locals are lovely. There are many shops and several activities. Monte Baldo cable cars are a 10 minute walk from the hotel also!
If you rent a car there is private parking but don’t make the same mistake we did, on the higher side of the mountain there is parking at the back of the hotel. There you will find a lift to take your luggage inside - you don’t need to carry them down the stairs 😂 If you have access to a car I highly recommend making the day trip to Venice - it can be done in a day and is only a 2 hour drive from the hotel.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and would like to thank the staff again for being so kind and helpful during our stay.

We just had the most wonderful week at this hotel. I kept thinking I had got something wrong with the price because it seemed so reasonable for 5 star treatment. The view alone from the terrace was ridiculously beautiful. The breakfast each morning was amazing with so much healthy choice and such great service form the staff. The chef does an evening meal which was so excellent that we just couldn't risk going anywhere else so we stayed there every night. There's a set menu which changes daily, it's not expensive and we felt it was like fine dining. Sitting there at night with a bottle of wine, that view and this five course meal was unbeatable. Away from the busy town but close enough to walk there, this hotel is a little gem.
Peaceful and quiet with a lovely pool that was never too busy, just a few guests here and there through the day.
We even had a massage and sauna.
I honestly felt renewed and will definitely visit again. We felt like the staff make you their friend while you're there, nothing is too much trouble and they are super kind and welcoming.

Stayed here along with our family and friends, because our daughter was getting married amazing hotel lovely staff will definitely be returning in the near future thank you all for making our daughter and all herr guests feel welcome

What a delight for our honeymoon eurotrip. We spent a week here at hotel Capri and cannot fault anything.
The location the suberb, just 5-10 mins walk into the centre and the view of Lake Garda is just absolutely amazing due to the slightly elevated position. The view can be enjoyed from the rooms and the restaurant terrace. Perfection.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they always went above and beyond.
We drove here in our Porsche 911 and the car park was perfect during our stay to ensure the car was safe and secure.
We booked the junior suite which features a huge round bed, large TV, mini fridge, glass front walk in wardrobe and 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower.
The restaurant food and service is exceptional. The food far exceeds mant local restaurants and is finished with creativity and superb taste. The wine choice is also excellent with most wines DOC quality standard.
We have already recommended hotel Capri to friends and family and cannot wait to hopefully return soon.

The hotel is perfectly located in Malcesine with just a 5-10 Minute walk into the city center. Scenic view over the lake from the breakfast/restaurant as well as from the pool area.
Rooms have been remodeled and are very nice.

A great surprise was our stay at Hotel Capri in Malcesine. Incredibly friendly staff, the rooms were perfectly clean, modern and well-equipped, the balcony was large and you have a fantastic view on Lago di Garda. There's a free speedy Wifi if you need it. There was a spacious garden with a great pool, and of course, you could order some drinks there billed to your room.
The breakfast: Fantastic. The breakfast room incl. an open terrace gives you stunning views of the lake in the morning, the coffee was great, and you had so much selection for your breakfast, nothing was missing. They even ask you if you wish some fried or srambled eggs.
There is a parking lot above the hotel free of charge, and you just walk a few minutes into the old town with all the restaurants.
Our stay in Hotel Capri was more than perfect and a pleasant surprise. For us it's more than 3 stars. We will be back, definitely!

Beautiful location. Lovely hotel with lovely helpful staff. The menu is fantastic with very good meals. This is our second visit to the hotel and would love to come back again in the future.
