Aktivhotel Santalucia in Nago-Torbole

The staff was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was pastoral. A perfect hotel for sports enthusiasts: incredible road cycling routes right from the hotel’s doorstep. A stunning heated outdoor pool with breathtaking views. Every detail was thought of – a dedicated storage room for bikes, laundry service for sports clothes, isotonic powder refills, and a nutritious breakfast. It was amazing vacation!!!

Thank you to all the wonderful staff including Christine, Damieno, Tristan, Erica and Leonardo as their attention to detail ensuring that myself and my family had such a lovely week! The hotel was very comfortable and the rooms, pool, gym, restaurant, bar and cycling store, very well organised amd maintained. The location of the hotel was very close to the beaches, restaurants and bars and also very scenic and quiet, in amongst the olive groves. Breakfast and food was great too, lots of selection and everything was fresh and available until 10:30am. Staff are so genuinely keen for you to have the best time, whatever you are wanting to do, active or inactive! Thanks so much as we will definitely be returning.

Wonderful staff that were super helpful, positive and always had smiles on their faces. They were extremely receptive to any requests I had. Loved the cycling package with bike storage, option for guided tours and daily laundry service. I would highly recommend this hotel for a cycling vacation.

This hotel is a dream come true for active travelers — everything is perfectly designed with sports in mind. The rooms are modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast is a real highlight: rich, nutritious, and full of thoughtful extras — from fresh vitamins to protein honey — fueling you up for a day of adventure.

The 25-meter heated pool is fantastic, and I loved the honesty bar system by the pool — just write down what you take. Simple, trusting, and so refreshing in today’s world.

Cyclists will be thrilled: there’s a video-monitored bike storage area right in front of the hotel, a full workshop for repairs, and even a self-service car wash station. Every little detail is covered.

The cocktail bar is exceptional, with an impressive and high-quality drink selection. It’s the perfect place to unwind in the evening.

A huge thank you to the owner, whose warm hospitality sets the tone for the entire stay. The whole team deserves praise, always cheerful and genuinely welcoming — especially Cristina, whose friendly energy and charming German-Italian dialect brightened every interaction and made each moment feel special.

Without a doubt, this is a place we’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommended — a true gem in every sense!

The best place we stayed in three week in Italy. Comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast, very clean, great service with friendly staff that are knowledgeable about the area. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. This place is great for anyone, but especially for helpful for those here for outdoor activities. They have guides and maps for hiking biking and climbing, bike racks, bike rentals and just simple helpful things like trekking poles and umbrellas available. They also have a lot of eco friendly practices, and electric car charging. I also have to say that the breakfast options were fantastic, staples, plus cold cuts, juice bar with protein and antioxidant options, alternative milks, gluten-free options, good fruits etc, pretty much the best breakfast buffet I have seen. They have a sauna and a play pool in addition to a lap pool. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

If you're into cycling (road, gravel, mountain), hiking or any other outdoor activity, Aktiv Hotel is the place to stay. The amenities are not to be believed and the staff goes above and beyond to make your experience 5 star. The hotel is a short walk into Torbole, a small, scenic lakeside village that provides many dining and shopping options. That said, the hotel provides one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever seen. That alone was worth the stay at Aktiv Hotel. Highly recommended!

This is an incredible stay! They have thought of every detail you may want and need for your stay! The staff are all so attentive, welcoming, helpful, professional yet totally friendly!
The is a bike workshop full of tools, bike wash and bike storage. There is even a place to store your car bike rack while you are here.
A full 25m swimming pool!

This hotel was only meant to be a two night stop for us, but quickly became a place we wanted to stay longer. 10 out of 10 for the staff and the welcome we got at check, at breakfast and at Silvio’s BBQ. Brilliant hotel. Incredibly comfortable beds and based in the stunning Torbole. I can’t recommend Aktivhotel enough. We can’t wait to come back with the family!!

A particularly cozy family hotel on Lake Garda. From the warm welcome to the breakfast that leaves a lot to be desired, from the comfortable rooms to the 25 meter pool, everything is well maintained and very clean. A dream for cyclists and triathletes, but also highly recommended for bikers like us - there are also massages on request from an excellent masseuse, and whoever wants can use the gym as well as the sauna. Don't forget that a pizza party is highly recommended! We have already been here 3 times and will definitely return!
