l've been here for a week and I've been having a great time. The room is spacious and clean. The pools and the beaches are wonderful and the evening are always fun because of the music. There is good food but the dining area is a bit chaotic. The pasta is really good, the second dishes are good too but a bit repetitive. I never got desserts but they looked ok. Large hotel spread over many levels on steep hillside. Beach is about 200 metres away but across busy roads. Two good pools, but food was average. All inclusive is sold hard, but without it there is no easy way to get a drink in the evening. Seemed to be a distinctive shortage of staff. Reception staff were friendly by others quite brusque.

Friendly personnel and good attentive service. Food and alcohol are fine. Spectacular view! But the music sucks. Most people are in their 60s-80s but they play baby shark song or reggaeton.

Beautiful place to stay for a long weekend of doing nothing. Spacious rooms, delicious buffet restaurant and quick access to either pool or the nice beach of Letojanni. Not far from Taormina, the Etna volcano and the beautiful locations of Eastern Sicily although you will need a car to reach them (or rely on the hotel's planned excursions)

I’m absolutely impressed. This hotel got me. Beautiful calm place, access to beach immediately, with parasol and sunbed. Staff was gracious and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel and clean rooms. The staff is great and very helpful. Also the breakfast is decent. Also make sure you get a room with a view over the sea. Overall the experience was very good. Oh and you get a free sun bed at the beach if you staying at the San Vincenzo.

Hotel Caparena was very nice with clean rooms and great staff, we had a lovely time in Toamina! The shuttle bus was excellent we used it every day a special thank you to Salvatore, Pipo and drivers! Hotel staff members are attentive, helpful, and very interested in ensuring you have a wonderful time. The suite with an ocean view is everything. The free shuttle into town and back must be reserved in advance so if you plan to use this service on the day/evening of your check in, you should call ahead to be added to the schedule. The ChrisMare is a two-story small hotel in Mazzeo, next to Letojanni and close to Taormina. It is four star rated hotel, but I think it is rather a three-star hotel. It is very close to Mazzeo beach (across the street) where you can choose to use sunbeds or your own beach equipment. I stayed in this hotel with my wife for the week of August, everything was perfect, from breakfast (everything and more) to the room (large and very clean). For being the week of August it also cost very little. I absolutely recommend it!

The hotel is spartan, you can feel the family atmosphere. Kind and welcoming staff; the home cooking is valuable, you can taste the real flavors! The rooms have large balconies, from most you can see the sea. At the back is the village church, where you can follow the Sunday mass at 9:30

The hotel is in a good location, close to the archaeological park, with free parking. The room is large and slippers are provided. The breakfast has many varieties and the taste is average. There is dinner, which is good value for money. The service staff can speak English and provide travel advice.

A pleasant discovery with a very helpful staff and a truly very kind lady. Nowadays it is difficult to find a team of people so helpful and kind. 10 truly relaxing days, very clean rooms and equipped with all comforts. I highly recommend!

The staff was very sweet and helpful. Loved that we had a huge balcony that faced the sea. Breakfast was nice but very simple. Charged us to take coffee to our room which seemed unfair since it was "free breakfast". Beds were not so comfortable and they need more mirrors and plugs for a room that sleeps 4-6. Located very close to the sea, a beautiful sight, the good room, a sore point near the room installed a water motor that periodically turned on in the night disturbing the rest, also the property is located adjacent to the road of the sea place to rest is not the best .

Quality-price ratio unbeatable. Nice location, very clean, suitable for small children. Unheated swimming pool a bit negative for children, but enjoyable nevertheless. 1km away from the beach. A few quirks (like small tv bearly working or not working at all, no microwave oven in an otherwise fully equiped kitchen), but nothing that would detract from a nice and clean location.

Visited in April 2025 with 2 young kids. The facilities weren't fully up and running so would love to go back when everything is open. The location is great and really easy to get into Taormina and out on excursions. The staff were great and I would definitely go back again during the busier months.

There was loud live music from the ar until midnight, so sleep was impossible. Also very confusing trying to drive to the hotel as google maps sends you up a private road with a closed gate. No code given either for opening the parking barrier, so leaving was also difficult. Good buffet dinner and nice balcony view.

We spent 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. The service was exceptional and staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. After talking to the reception regarding change of room they told us that the hotel was fully booked but they would try to find a better solution asap. Stayed in the apartments. Staff is very friendly. Apartment is simply furnished but roomy. Has all the necessary amendments for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location on a cliff overlooking a secluded beach. The room is tidy, with everything needed readily available. The surroundings are lush with vegetation, simply stunning. It’s just a 5-minute walk from the train/bus station that transports to the old town center.

One of life's gems. The staff were amazing. They gave us recommendations where to eat, pizerria next door. Was so good we went every night for dinner. We swam every morning to watch sunrise from the beach directly down from our lovely house. Had breakfast on our terrace and that was all before 8am....Couldn't recommend highly enough!!!!

Great location, steps to the beach. Our room had a balcony that looked out to the ocean which was really nice. Catarena was an absolutely wonderful host. She made us feel at home and was very accommodating. Lovely breakfast every morning. Letojanni is a small beach town and was not busy with tourists like Naxos or Taoromina. Was a quick 10 minute bus ride to Taoromina, so no big issue getting there...
