A lack of concern by the staff for two issues we raised. It did take a few hours for the manager to react but when he did his actions were above and beyond. This is an excellent hotel with impeccable service from everyone.

Homely warm welcome, postcard peaceful view of the sea, amazing food paired with local wine.

It was really a great experience to stay at Hotel Villa Sonia. Spacy rooms with a awesome view to the old lady, Etna. Outstanding views and fabulous hilltop location within a few minutes walk of the historic Castelmola with plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Truly amazing. You take an elevator down to a cave which on one side has an opening with a beach with views of Isola Bella and on the other side of the cave you have an infinity pool with views of the coast and Etna. Been to many places in the world but nothing can beat that. On top of that, the rooms are great and they have good breakfast you can enjoy with views of the coast and Etna.

Wonderful family run hotel who can't do enough for you. To get to the town is easy and walk down to the cable car takes just over 5 mins take the cable car up and your there. Food is lovely and waiters are helpful. Self services for breakfast then waiter service with a choice for evening meal. Room was lovely with balcony over looking the sea. I didn't live in the hotel, but visited a beauty parlour in Spa. I made a manicure and pedicure here and was satisfied with the result, although it was not the best one, which I ever had. I wanted to change my hair colour here from mahogoni to trendy blond, but could not achieve the wished colour. Eva was so kind and welcoming she went out of her way to pick me up with her motobike so that I would not not have to walk down the stairs with my luggage. Everything was perfect, I've been here for 5 days and I'll stay 5 more. Rooms are impeccably clean with daily service, I have a wonderful view from my balcony of the sea and Ethna. Eva couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast is fantastic and really sets me up for the day.

Friendly staff, right when we got there the girl offered us coffee and water, she let us keep our luggage there even if we were too early for check in. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, we got a lot of tips and tricks and recommendations when we checked in which were very helpful and we're grateful for that! Unfortunately we were disappointed. On ONE positive note, it is walkable to all sites in Taormino. The negative is that you must climb a fairly steep hill to enter or exit the hotel.
