Flawless.
Booked again directly on site for next year. And the 5 stars are more than deserved.
The owners and all the people there are very warm and helpful.
It's nice to have a conversation.
The breakfast is manageable but really sufficient. Everyone will find something here. About sausage, cheese and spreads. Bread and rolls in different variations.
The pool offers refreshment and is very clean. There is an outdoor area with plenty of loungers.
Parking space is in the yard.
The hotel itself is in a quiet location.
You can get a Meran ticket for the bus at the hotel and you can easily get anywhere without a car.
The center can be reached in 10 minutes.
There are numerous restaurants there.

Questionable people, to be kind... faced with emergency hospitalization, I repeat emergency, of my pet (documentable, which among other things then died on June 8th) they had no scruples about grabbing the wheat of 3 nights -437.40- without offering something (a voucher, a change of date.. precise that I gave notice of 10 days, not 10 hours) with, verbatim words and I want to see if they will have the courage to say the opposite given that I have the email 'Unfortunately it is not possible to cancel the reservation or change the date'. As a Booking Genius customer, I reported this and I hope measures will be taken to preserve the image of Booking itself, which had also proposed a cancellation without penalty. (this too, can be documented by the portal, and rejected 'Unfortunately the structure does not..'). They will hear from the appropriate people.

After we canceled our reservation at the hotel we had to pay 50% of the total amount. I would like to see more competence from hotel owners. In all phone calls and emails we were not told what we would lose if we canceled less than 3 weeks before the holiday.

I fell ill the day before arrival, but after a short consultation the hotel postponed our stay for two days without any problems. That was very accommodating and my vacation days weren't in vain 😉 5 stars for that alone!

We stayed here for three nights in April and had a great time! Our room (we had one in the older part of the building) was fantastic, modern and super clean. The breakfast was fabulous, there was a large selection of rolls, cheese, sausages, fruit, cereals, juices and freshly made ice creams. Particularly noteworthy are the very, very nice ladies who keep the whole hotel running and also have great tips for hiking. The Trappeinerweg is just around the corner and offers wonderful views of the valley and castles. The pool was a great refreshment on these early summer days. It's about a 15-minute walk into town. Warm recommendation for this gem!

Hotel near the center within walking distance...internal parking...courteous staff...warm and clean rooms...price you can afford...but the real plus is the breakfast. VERY GOOD. excellent quality, wide choice, really welcoming breakfast location. Hotel I recommend.

A nice typical hotel with a very kind and helpful owner, not really close to the center but just a 10 minute walk away... plentiful and delicious breakfast

A very nice and comfortable hotel, just a few minutes' walk from the center of Merano, with a large relaxation garden and swimming pool, also ideal for children. The well-furnished rooms and the breakfast offered are very good with local products. The owners are really very welcoming and kind, attentive to every need. I highly recommend it

The hotel is not in the center, you can reach it in about 15 minutes on foot. Price/performance is completely okay, plus very friendly staff.
