Came for Christmas diner. The menu online seemed very good with many different pastas from regions around Bolzano including a tasting menu. Upon entering there was no host stand to be found, and we had to wait for a waiter to realize we had made a reservation. The restaurant also smelled quite bad.
The menu we received was not the Christmas dinner menu that was online (which has since been taken down) but the café food menu.
Half the menu was pizza, however when we tried to order the pizza we were informed that none were available.
The food we ordered was not good, easily the worst food we’ve ever had in Italy! The ragu pasta had no sauce (just meat on pasta), the veggie burger was made of a flavor less paste, and roast beef did not seem like what we ordered, but when we asked our waiter he told us that he was not sure what the item was and had to check with the chef.
We were not the only family that had this experience, people around us were asking why they received stale bread (we never even received bread!), why burgers were on the Christmas menu they thought they were getting, and why their dessert was wrapped in ceramwrap.
Not only was the dinner not what was promised or what other reviewers who previously went to this restaurant had, but it was truly terrible.
To do this on Christmas of all days, without any prior notice or even mentioning that the restaurant menu was the same as the cafe’s that night, was really shocking and quite sad.

Beautiful location. Fantastic rooms. High attention to detail in all the small things. They offered us a free breakfast to go since we needed to catch such an early train. When we checked out in the morning, they already had our breakfast packaged for us with no reminders. When we misunderstood and only took breakfasts for two people thinking it was one bag per couple, they ran 2 blocks and delivered our other breakfasts to us at the train station. What a surprise. That is above and beyond expectations. I cannot recommend this hotel and their beautiful staff enough.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel in a beautiful room overlooking the main square. The location is perfect for everything you would wish to see in Bolzano. The room was not only lovely to look at and look out from but was also very comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful in whatever we asked for (apologies for our poor Italian!) and made our stay even more memorable. The parking is directly under the square in front of the hotel with direct access to the hotel, but it has to be said the entrance to the carpark is not easy to find at the moment, I understand due to current roadworks. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone.

We had a very good experience at the hotel. The reception Alexia was very welcoming and bubbly and efficient. Made us feel at home. Breakfast was suffient and filling. Good made made coffee ie not machine made. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is located in a walking area with many small and unique shops. Great! Also zbout 500m from the Central train station.

Her professionalism and kindness truly made me feel at home.

It was the best hotel! The location was great, the staff were friendly, and above all, the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was also very delicious and had a wide selection.

It's close to train station. Staff at reception is helpful. However, the shower place is easy to get water leaked out. Need to use carefully.

We ate dinner one evening at this place.
The service is in good standard. We sat outside and it’s was really cozy. The starter was not our taste because the pasta is a bit too hard. But the main courses are exquisite 😋 you can really taste the freshness of local ingredients and the beef was really tender.

Not sure what it is the waitress decided she didn't like about us, but it was clear that she didn't want to serve us. We waited a long time to be served. Order was not right. All the tables around us were being served without needing to get her attention. They all ate and left despite arriving after us. I could expect this in a small cafe or in a small village, but quite unexpected for a hotel/cafe that is supposed to be at the heart and center of town. I would not recommend, especially if you're an English-speaker. Also, the apple strudel was not good. Go elsewhere for that.
