This gorgeous 19th century palazzo is a little oasis on the outskirts of busy Messina. The staff were just lovely and the grounds gorgeous.

Staying at Villa Pulejo is a unique experience in like staying in a historical masterpiece. The facilities were modernized but you can still visualize the grandeur this mansion was built for. Walking around the grounds we found treasures like the centuries old magnolia trees, meticulously kept garden and the original horse stable. Staff went above and beyond without smothering you. Fruits came from groves on property. We will cherish memories made during our 9 days stay.

Great place. Lavish place, beautiful furniture. Beautiful setting. The staff were very helpful and extremely nice. I had a great massage. The rooms are big with a big window. Very beautiful garden. I would love to visit there again.

What a lovely, albeit too short stay! Felt very welcome by Alessandro & family. Very friendly and charming people ☺️ breathtaking scenery, nice walks, delicious food. And a lovely private spa to relax before going to bed!

The mansion is in very good shape, well renovated. The garden landscape beautiful.
Staff needs better training.
Breakfast is served to each one at the table. It takes too long and the options are limited. I would prefer a buffet breakfast.

Next to a highway, hence very loud outside the villa. Pool and jacuzzi were dirty, tennis court not usable. Not worth the price at all. Espresso after breakfast is 2 Euro.
Breakfast staff was very nice.

We had a wonderful time overall, but our second visit didn't quite match the quality of our first. The hotel is still beautiful only with fewer personal touches. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and hope to see the high standards return.

Brilliant hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean and spacious. Not a lot nearby but beautiful gardens and pool area. Food was good.
