La Plage Resort

My girlfriend and I have spent many lovely days on the beach at the Plage resort. We did not stay in the hotel, but non-hotel guests can rent chairs and umbrellas and experience the restaurant and the beautiful view of Isola Bella. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Diego gave us great information for excursions. I also recommend walking over to Isabella and taking a tour of the grounds there. But wear your beach cover and shoes otherwise entrance is not permitted. Entry is 5 euros and there are beautiful views from Isola Bella. And the luncheon was very tasty. I had a great salad with tuna and capers, very refreshing and just the right meal for a beach day.

We came for 10 days and although we didn't stay overnight we used the beach club. It made our holiday perfect! Stunning setting, fantastic cocktails and food...but it was the quality of service that made it. Special mention to Danielle who was utterly amazing!

The dynamic duo behind the bar, Marcela and Mary, displayed true mastery in crafting exquisite cocktails and assembling pizzas. Their passion and flair added a special touch to every evening, making each drink an experience in itself.

And Hamza—what can we say? He is the undisputed king of the beach! His energy, enthusiasm, and ability to cater to every need made our beach days pure bliss.

La Plage is a standout not just because of its stunning setting, but because of its incredible staff who made our stay feel like we were among friends. We can’t wait to return!

La Plage is number 1 resort for romance, family, business!! Everything was 10 stars. Thanks to Miguel in restaurant and his team. Salvatore in concierge, Alfio and Pasquale and all the front service teams were so amazing!! The rooms are so good and the beaches are the best. Hurry up and come here! Don't wait. What a view from our restaurant.

My husband and I recently got married here, in a very intimate ceremony. The staff went above and beyond everyday to make this the most memorable experience for us. When you walk through the property all the staff happily greet you and are so happy to help with any questions/needs you might have. The breakfast every morning was delicious! And the view from their private beach is breathtaking. There is a nice quiet bar on the beach that is open until midnight. The ambiance of the entire resort made you feel so relaxed. I highly recommend this property! I would give more stars if I could!

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The service was impeccable and reception was very knowledgeable with activities and restaurants around Taormina. The communication between staff was excellent. The buffet breakfast was superb with a large variety. Having the sun beds on the beach (which you need) was an added bonus! It’s also a great place to stay to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the town.

Sweet cute beach hotel with an amazing location down near the water. Keep in mind it's rocky not sandy so flip-flops are needed to avoid an unexpected foot massage.
The rooms are small but cozy with a nice little seating area outside though little mosquitos will attack you by sunset.
Breakfast is generous with a wide selection of items & customized eggs anyway you'd like.
Diego was also very helpful made our visit superb.
Also the trains overhead are clearly heard from 7am-midnight.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We originally had a bungalow which ended up being too small for us. Daniele the front office manager was very accommodating and moved us to a a larger room. All the staff were very welcoming and hospitable. The views were amazing. The beach and Isola Bella are walkable from the resort as well. Definitely recommend staying here for a quiet relaxing getaway

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this hotel is. My husband and I spent 5 nights at La Plage in May, we had a bungalow with a private hot tub. The resort is beautiful, from the moment you walk in through the entrance which is a beautiful stone archway, you are transported. The staff welcomed up and led us to the patio over looking the beach for check in. The location is perfect, right on the beach, with their own private beach club, steps away from Isola Bella. The private beach has comfortable sun chairs, and each pair has its own umbrella which are perfect for spending a day (or two at the beach).

In addition to the beach access the hotel is also walking distance to the gondola which takes you up to the rest of Taormina.

The rooms are small, but they are clean and comfortable. Our bungalow had a large outdoor area which was way more used and appreciated than a large indoor space. When you are in such a beautiful location you don’t want to be spending time inside, you want to be on the beach or exploring the town.

We enjoyed the complementary breakfast and ate multiple times at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious. All the staff throughout the hotel were kind and attentive. There are also many other restaurants a short walk away which which also delicious.
