We saw this beautiful hotel as we were walking to Bella Isola beach. We were warmly greeted by Roberta who took this enchanting place to the next level by her kindness. After seeing rooms available, We decided to stay a few nights Our room was a beautifully updated bungalow with thoughtful lighting and conveniences you might not expect from a bungalow. The breakfast buffet was outstanding in tastes and aesthetic presentation. The beach was clean and beautiful. All staff we interacted with were professionals. We could not have imagined three more delightful days. Many thanks to the staff at La Plage.

The staff are amazing - gents at the beach are very helpful. The reception staff are very helpful. And the cleaning staff - amazing - we left a very valuable item in the room when we checked out and soon realised and found that it was already at reception.

We got room 316 which was a garden room but due to the location we did get a sea view.

The private beach area is wonderful.

The funicular is just a short walk from the hotel where you can go up to Taormina itself.

The breakfast was fantastic with a fantastic outdoor area with a view that dreams are made of.

We cannot wait to return!

Fantastic hotel. High quality rooms, location is directly on a top beach. Beach club felt private and secluded. Beach is easy to swim in compared to others in similar area. Had a nice time exploring Isola Bella island directly in front of the resort. Nice spa experience with excellent massage, complimentary food and champagne. Location is 5 minute walk from cable cars that take you right to Taormina downtown.

My girlfriend and I have spent many lovely days on the beach at the Plage resort. We did not stay in the hotel, but non-hotel guests can rent chairs and umbrellas and experience the restaurant and the beautiful view of Isola Bella. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Diego gave us great information for excursions. I also recommend walking over to Isabella and taking a tour of the grounds there. But wear your beach cover and shoes otherwise entrance is not permitted. Entry is 5 euros and there are beautiful views from Isola Bella. And the luncheon was very tasty. I had a great salad with tuna and capers, very refreshing and just the right meal for a beach day.

We came for 10 days and although we didn't stay overnight we used the beach club. It made our holiday perfect! Stunning setting, fantastic cocktails and food...but it was the quality of service that made it. Special mention to Danielle who was utterly amazing!

Diego, in particular, was the heart and soul of our experience. From the moment we arrived, his warmth and attentiveness made him feel like part of our family. He went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, making us feel completely at home.

Sara’s dedication shone through in everything she did. Her commitment to making our breakfast seamless and enjoyable was evident, and her attention to detail truly stood out — she even made my wife a birthday cake!

The dynamic duo behind the bar, Marcela and Mary, displayed true mastery in crafting exquisite cocktails and assembling pizzas. Their passion and flair added a special touch to every evening, making each drink an experience in itself.

And Hamza—what can we say? He is the undisputed king of the beach! His energy, enthusiasm, and ability to cater to every need made our beach days pure bliss.

La Plage is a standout not just because of its stunning setting, but because of its incredible staff who made our stay feel like we were among friends. We can’t wait to return!

La Plage is number 1 resort for romance, family, business!! Everything was 10 stars. Thanks to Miguel in restaurant and his team. Salvatore in concierge, Alfio and Pasquale and all the front service teams were so amazing!! The rooms are so good and the beaches are the best. Hurry up and come here! Don't wait. What a view from our restaurant.

My husband and I recently got married here, in a very intimate ceremony. The staff went above and beyond everyday to make this the most memorable experience for us. When you walk through the property all the staff happily greet you and are so happy to help with any questions/needs you might have. The breakfast every morning was delicious! And the view from their private beach is breathtaking. There is a nice quiet bar on the beach that is open until midnight. The ambiance of the entire resort made you feel so relaxed. I highly recommend this property! I would give more stars if I could!
