I had to write this review to say how outstanding and genuinely professional the service was from two of the Grand Hotel staff which I experienced today. Fabio served myself and three friends when we came for drinks and lunch on the stunning terrace at the hotel. I have never seen a staff person with incredible service, honest warmth, genuine care and live of what he does. What a welcome we received and What an attribute to the hotel team is Fabio. Also to Andrea, they were both so hospitable and could not do more to make our lunch an incredible experience. As a chef and former restaurant owner, I can commend all the staff and management for creating a unique place of utter beauty, style and with honest Sicilian warmth, hospitality and charm. Thank you

Next to the Greek Amphitheater!

The views, gardens and service are all spectacular. They have 3 restaurants including a Michelin star. The sister property is Villa Sant’Andrea and you can use both property amenities including the new beach club! Beyond worth it!

Went to the main restaurant for lunch today with 2 children. Ordered lamb chop and cod, and a simple spaghetti as kids meal. The final bill came in as €146, with shocking service charge of €9 x 3, sparkling water €5 x3. I know this is a fancy hotel restaurant, but each dish price is already premium. The lamb chop and cod presentation and taste are both just average, not impressive at all. And the service is below average. There were only 3 tables occupied, 4 waiters on floor, and I have to wave several times to get attended. During the meal only service received was adding water. I am super disappointed with this restaurant and the experience, totally not worth the price.

Beautiful hotel, lovely food, very expensive wine by the glass and we weren't offered a wine list to order a bottle. Service was hit and miss, first visit was amazing so we went back. Second time they didn't give us the bread and whipped the snacks away before we ordered our second drink. We visited three times during the week, Sunday afternoon service was a bit like the staff were on holiday! Didn't bother us too much but not very professional.

It was the best service and accommodation which I’ve ever had! I’ve never seen such professional staff! People who work there are really kind, positive) It was a really great pleasure to stay there. I can’t remember any cons or negative situations. The views are dramatically amazing and the room was very comfortable! The breakfast is very distinguished and absolutely delicious. I wanted to make a picture of every detail at the hotel!) The location of the hotel is good, in the beautiful old city Taormina and there is no traffic with car there almost. The hotel provided to us shuttle to the beach and boat tour. Many thanks for our great vacation at the Grand Belmond Hotel Timeo!)

We came here to enjoy the cocktail and some snack.
The great view is the big advantage of this bar, but there is a big issue that there are many pigeons flying to the table to having the nuts .
It’s quite annoying and the employees have no good solution.
Maybe this is one part of the natural view
Meanwhile the cocktails taste like soft drink but the food pizza is great.
Anyway, it’s a bar full of romantic and cozy vibe

We have stayed whole week for holiday. Service was good and staff was helpful. Only issue was when I left for airport in the morning, I had the worst packed breakfast/sandwich ever, one dry and auto-dissembling sandwich(barely any ham or cheese). Had to throw it away because it was too bad. Never ever tasted such bad sandwich in my entire life. It was not food but more like kitchen left over made by chef who hates you. But the whole experience before departing was amazing. The only downturn cannot erase the good feeling for the whole week. Just a tip: don’t ask for their packed breakfast.

Classy hotel in a classic city. History surrounds you, even directly above you, when you stay at the Grand Timeo. Located just under the ancient Greek theater, this property offers very attentive and capable service in all facets. From reception to bar to housekeeping to restaurant wait staff, everyone customer-facing is on top of their game. Several staff members greeted me by name multiple times during our 3-day stay here.

Our junior suite was spacious and had a terrace overlooking their private gardens. Great views of the bay and Mount Etna in the distance, if you have a decent camera with good lenses you can take some excellent shots. Excellent towels, linens and bathroom amenities. Hard to beat the location, you're right in the middle of the shops and principal historical attractions of Taormina.

Breakfasts are varied and premium, from fresh fruits and pastries to premium yogurts and juices plus a number of egg dishes are available. Lunch and dinner at the restaurants were excellent each time we use them, especially the Michelin starred Otto Geleng. Only eight tables are available each evening and you can see why. Very detailed and exquisitely served dishes coupled with professional service makes it a memorable evening. Skip the three course tasting menu, be sure to go for the five course. With the canapes and amuse bouche, it's going to end up being at least seven courses.

Lastly, big shout out to Julia, the reception manager. We were gifted raw almonds and needed to find nutcrackers so we could bring them back to the States. She took care of finding them and got them vacuum packed for transport. She made sure we have whatever we needed while we were there.

Pretty much worth every euro we spent.

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever visited! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Amazing views from the bar. And a nice beach club, as well!

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Timeo over Easter and had a great time. I want to specifically highlight two employees who made our stay memorable. Manuela, the head of guest experience, took who took our mid-stay feedback very seriously and made us and our stay very much appreciated. Also Giovanni, who supervised breakfast service during the days that we stayed, took very great care of us and made every morning a great start into the day.
