Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful location, full of nature and ideal for an escape for relaxing or going with kids. The swimming pools are huge. The buffet is quite good, and changes every day. The rooms are like little igloos or houses. Not very large but comfortable. The only caveat is that the beach is not a sandy one. And the hotel is not very close to an urban location so you'll likely want to rent...

There are a few things to be aware of: 1. If you come toward the end of the season only one restaurant is open and it is a buffet. Food quality is mediocre at best. Breakfast is ok, but have had better in a 3 star in Turkey, was expecting more fresh products. Having to queue for coffee is poor service, never had to before. Coffee & tea making facilities in the room would be nice Staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are very clean

The 1 bedroom suite was spacious and clean, the lounge area easily large enough for 2 kids to sleep in. The buffet restaurant, whilst chaotic with a table allocation system from the 1980s, had some nice dishes, particularly if you like fish. The service definitely seems to operate on a 2 tier system. Stunning place to relax and let the world go by. All the team were wonderful, starting with the check-in, and the sommelier at dinner was super too. The tasting menu was well worth trying, as is the courtesy shuttle to the private lido for an afternoon relaxation. Super place that I would highly recommend.

This place is both beautiful and relaxing. It is a self contained resort outside of town but we literally liked it so much that we just wanted to stay there rather than explore. That said, the location makes a terrific home base for exploring the area which is full of charming towns.

We had a great time, my only regret is we didn't stay longer.

The location is a bit out of town - so probably not a top choice for beachy people or those wanting a walkable downtown experience, but if that's not your vibe, then it's outstanding! Absolutely wonderful hotel from start to finish. The hotel is CENTRAL Monopoli, exceptional, less than 5 minute walk to main plaza/ shops. Alongside the rooms/apartments within the main building (where the reception is located) the hotel also owns a number of apartments jotted around some of the nearby streets. They're all within minutes from the main reception but it allows guests to have bigger apartments...

Really pleasant stay. At first we thought it was a bit overpriced for a one night stay but our room with terrace and kitchen would have been perfect for multiple nights. And given that there is a free train station transfer, breakfast is excellent (and real value for money at €6. 50 each) and the reception staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful we totally would say that this is a bargain! I had a very nice stay. Pretty sure my room had the nicest mattress I've ever slept on, and the pillows may have been "neck" pillows (good stuff for those afflicted with arthritis, like me!). A small place in the heart of the old town. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Stored our bikes in their garage overnight. Welcome beer was appreciated after cycling from Bari.

We are a family of 4 and stayed in the apartment with terrace outside the B&B. The place was lovely and clean. From the terrace we could see the sea, it was the ideal spot to relax. The apartment was furnished with everything we needed (washing machine, dishwasher, towels, aircon, hoover, hairdryer etc)! We were a party of 7 staying for 5 nights in Monopoli. We had two seperate apartments which were both absolutely stunning with roof terraces. The decor of both apartments are truely beautiful. Cesare and his wife are really helpful and are excellent at suggesting places to see. My mother is gluten free and at breakfast she was accomodated for perfectly. The rest of us had a real feast for breakfast...

Apartment equipped and comfortable, very clean. We had a problem with wifi that the owner solved quickly. There is a bar opposite where you can have breakfast. Near a square with bars. A few steps from the center of Monopoli. Highly recommended.

A beautiful B&B 30 meters from the beach, and in the beautiful oldtown. The rooms are wonderful, and everything in here is brand new. This is an Amazing B&B! I highly recommend that you stay here if you are going to be staying in Monopoli! We contacted Riccardo just after driving into Monopoli and he went above and beyond to make sure our whole stay was the best experience we could have! Amazing B&B with a perfect location (in the center of old-town Monopoli but 1min away from the beach, 3min from the parking lot and easy access with a suitcase). The room was perfect and cosy. We stayed 2 nights in this cute little B&B. Rooms a super clean, modern furnished and we slept well. Perfect located at the end of the pedestrian street, 10 meter from the sea - everything easy to reach in a few minutes by foot, but far away enough from the noisy vibrant streets. Location was good. Easily accessible. Cleaniness excellent. Breakfast was not fully explained, it was ok. Breakfast was limited in quantity. Especially coffee. Price cost 5 euros.

Excellent stay and services, the structure enjoys an excellent position to reach the historic center of Monopoli just a few minutes away either by car or on foot, whoever takes care of the management is a kind and helpful person. Highly recommended

Great stay at Casa Maredentro. Located in the Centro Storico, everything is doable on foot (visit, restaurants, beach). With Isabella, we were at home and we appreciated the good advice 🙂

Massimo and Isabella are the perfect hosts and are very happy to offer suggestions. The room is spacious and stylish with an enormous bathroom and mini kitchen. Location is spot on, right by the old town walls with access into the sea. Views from the roof terrace are lovely. Monopoli itself is well worth a visit and makes a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

Maria and Filippo are wonderful, very kind and very helpful. The breakfast is very good with the best capuccino in Monopoli. It looks like my grandmother's kitchen!! The rooms are comfortable, welcoming and spotlessly clean. We had a perfect stay with them.

Great location, right in the middle of the old town and close to anything within the old town including restaurants, shops and a small supermarket. But the best part about staying here is the amazing hosts that really make you feel welcome and are truly helpful regarding anything local and sightseeing. Great food selection for breakfast.

Clean rooms, great location, very helpful and friendly hosts. This is not a negative comment but both Maria and Philipo are what I would describe as “high energy”. Very animated all the time, especially at breakfast! I am more the type of person that likes to enjoy a fairly slow start to the day with a Quiet coffee and some toast. Not possible with Maria! After 30 hours of travel from Australia, we made it to La Cattedrale. Antonio met us to let us in and promptly explained the location we were in and what surrounds us. Being our second time in Monopoli, this is arguably the most ideal position to stay. Close to beaches (with sand), the town centre and a walk to the train station. The accommodation itself is extremely clean, tidy and the hosts attention...

One week holiday in Monopoli we chose this beautiful property located in the historic center ... very clean and large finely furnished room !!! The owners Maria and Filippo were fantastic and made us feel at home by also giving us many tips on where to go and what to see ... the breakfasts too TOP especially Maria's cappuccino ... unique ... and what about the desserts ? Stratospheric😋 Highly recommended...
