Hotels near sea shore in Monopoli

Almost every night theres something happening- like a theater or stand up comedy and everything is in Italian, me and my family know a few languages close to Italian so we could understand a thing or two but honesty sometimes we did felt kind of left out, otherwise it was great! The food was awesome, (And everything was written in italian, english and german which was great) the people were super kind...

Beds were included in the hotel price. There also are several guarded swimming pools on the site. The hotel is on a strategic location for a beach holiday or multiple daytrips inside Puglia

However, restaurants, bars and pool were great, as well as the mini club and entertainment service. Very recommended for families with kids and teens

Greate hotel with tasty kitchen, convenient guest parking, all needed facilities. Beach is good for the place, even though not big and guests get tickets for morning of afternoon, not full day

The food was very delicious and fresh everyday & so much variety! Hotel was nicely renovated & very spotless. The beds were super comfortable, had a very resting sleep every night

It is fantastic, with unlimited wine service, a private beach, two swimming pools, and a spacious parking lot

Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful location, full of nature and ideal for an escape for relaxing or going with kids. The buffet is quite good, and changes every day. The rooms are like little igloos or houses

The place is pretty nice with a huge swimming pool, direct access to the sea. The staff tries to be nice and hardly speak English (I didn’t need it but most of the guests did!)

Not very large but comfortable. The only caveat is that the beach is not a sandy one. And the hotel is not very close to an urban location so you'll likely want to rent a car

There are a few things to be aware of: 1. If you come toward the end of the season only one restaurant is open and it is a buffet. Food quality is mediocre at best. Suggest trying local restaurants

we stayed for 5 nights, we arrived at 14:00 but they said we will got it in 30 minutes, but we got the room at 16:30, breakfast too poor compare it to the price, the swimming pool is good but the beach side is not accessible and dangerous to swim because lot of rocks, you need a car to travel around specially at evening of you are planning to go out for dinner or any other plans

Parking seems like it would be a bit of an issue but because I went during offseason, I seemed to have avoided any problems. I was offered a shuttle service when I had to park far away the first night

Franco at the front desk is super helpful fluent in English, Spanish, and of course, Italian. The rooms are super clean, really modern, and well-located. A great breakfast selection was included during our stay there

For the restaurant- this is possibly my fault for not being fluent in Italian, but the waiter and I clearly misunderstood each other when I was trying to confirm about the sign at the reception desk

So I ordered a secondi (an entree), after seemingly confirming with the waiter that this was the said free “entree,” only to then receive a much larger bill than expected, as it was not free

The sign says that guests of the hotel get a free “entree. ” The sign was in English and Italian, using “entree” in both translations. But, apparently to the hotel, entree = appetizer

I found the word “entree” in English on this sign to be misleading. Wonder if it’s happened to others. The staff discounted me 7€ for the trouble

A luxury stay! Our suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was a great escape from the heat and had a great ocean view. The buffet breakfast selection was expanse and everything was very fresh and tasty

Nice room with sea view. Breakfast buffet was good. Overpriced and overstaffed. We had to endure an hour of workers loudly deliberating the work to be done.

My daughter/husband stayed in a “villa” and loved We only had drinks on the rooftop bar and it was very elegant and we had great service and the drinks were reasonable at 14€ for all that wonderful ambiance. VictorB

The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was free street parking about a 10-min walk away but the staff gave us a ride on a golf cart with our luggage directly to our car when we checked out

Staff is well prepared and attentive. They helped us a lot with reservations and attractions. The pool area is good, with a great view, but is small

It is not a great place but has a good cost/benefit if you get the full week deal. Breakfast and dinner included with lots of options. Rooms can be small and the restroom is terrible but at least was clean

Staff is nice but the reception is a bit incompetent as they made some mistakes with our booking and made us change rooms twice. I think I'd stay here again if didn't find anything else with a good price

Wi-fi is awful, barely works in the common areas. Location is great if you have a car, between two main cities

The staff however were just lovely and helpful, coming out to the pool regularly to see if we needed anything, the evening meal was fantastic with the chef coming to the table to explain each dish, which was a really nice touch

10 minutes walk to the beach, but if you need beach umbrellas and chairs, you need to either drive for 7 minutes or take hotel’s free shuttle

The staff whilst lovely, didn’t fully explain everything about the facilities to us, which was a bit of a shame, for example we didn’t access the gym or the spa which I only realised was there on the last day! Despite any of the little flaws, our stay here was really quite special

The most enjoyable aspect of the hotel is the location and the tranquility of the building. There weren’t many other guests, so at times over the three days we stayed here, we basically had the place to ourselves

The breakfast started at 8 am, which is kinda late for us and for the industry standard, but, hey, it’s Puglia, I haven’t met a single tourist who spoke language other than Italian

Our first impressions of the hotel was a little underwhelming; our room was quite basic, and not particularly spacious, and the decor seemed old fashioned and a bit sparse

The apartment was furnished with everything we needed (washing machine, dishwasher, towels, aircon, hoover, hairdryer etc)! The apartment was located in the heart of the historic centre just steps away from restaurants, bar and coffee shops… and mins walking from the beach

We LOVED our stay here! We are a family of 5 and the apartment was perfect for our needs; it was very spacious and clean. The location is wonderful! Everything is a short walk away - shops, restaurants, and the beach

We are a family of 4 and stayed in the apartment with terrace outside the B&B. The place was lovely and clean. From the terrace we could see the sea, it was the ideal spot to relax

You can hear the waves crashing from your windows and see the sea from the roof top terrace (which is a DREAM. We spent so much time just relaxing in the sun up there)

The rest of us had a real feast for breakfast on the terrace in the sunshine. Monopoly is a truely beautiful city to visit and I would definately recommend staying at the Carpe Diem if you are thinking of visiting

They're all within minutes from the main reception but it allows guests to have bigger apartments where necessary and to ensure all the guests can enjoy the wonderful italian/continental breakfast each morning up to 11am

A small place in the heart of the old town. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Stored our bikes in their garage overnight. Welcome beer was appreciated after cycling from Bari.

Absolutely wonderful hotel from start to finish. The hotel is CENTRAL Monopoli, exceptional, less than 5 minute walk to main plaza/ shops

Alongside the rooms/apartments within the main building (where the reception is located) the hotel also owns a number of apartments jotted around some of the nearby streets

All of the staff were wonderful offering recommendations for beaches, restaurants - we were sad to leave but would most definately stay again

I hadn't been to Italy for over 20 years, and believe it or not, pizza prosciutto still tastes exactly the same (tastes like the best pizza on the planet). My next trip will be 30 days trying to learn the language

Excellent b & b with very well finished and extremely clean apartments. The location is optimal because the b & b is located a few steps from the center and the sea. Recommended at any time of the year! Compliments!!

Apartment equipped and comfortable, very clean. We had a problem with wifi that the owner solved quickly. There is a bar opposite where you can have breakfast. A few steps from the center of Monopoli

A beautiful B&B 30 meters from the beach, and in the beautiful oldtown. The rooms are wonderful, and everything in here is brand new. The interior in the rooms and the whole place is absolutely beautiful

Amazing B&B with a perfect location (in the center of old-town Monopoli but 1min away from the beach, 3min from the parking lot and easy access with a suitcase). The room was perfect and cosy

Perfect located at the end of the pedestrian street, 10 meter from the sea - everything easy to reach in a few minutes by foot, but far away enough from the noisy vibrant streets

This is an Amazing B&B! I highly recommend that you stay here if you are going to be staying in Monopoli! We contacted Riccardo just after driving into Monopoli and he went above and beyond to make sure our whole stay was the best experience we could have! He greeted us at the door with a huge smile and and enthusiasticly gave us recommendations for everything we needed from places to eat to sights...

The accommodations are spectacular! Beautifully designed with a ultra modern look and evythinything you'd need to make the stay fantastic! He brought us wine glasses and a bottle opener to enjoy a bottle on the terrace that is open 24 hours

Excellent stay and services, the structure enjoys an excellent position to reach the historic center of Monopoli just a few minutes away either by car or on foot, whoever takes care of the management is a kind and helpful person

Location is spot on, right by the old town walls with access into the sea. Views from the roof terrace are lovely. Monopoli itself is well worth a visit and makes a good base for exploring the surrounding area

Great stay at Casa Maredentro. Located in the Centro Storico, everything is doable on foot (visit, restaurants, beach). With Isabella, we were at home and we appreciated the good advice 🙂

Very animated all the time, especially at breakfast! I am more the type of person that likes to enjoy a fairly slow start to the day with a Quiet coffee and some toast
