Wowsers! A hotel and a half! Fabulous location with a 5 minute walk to the centre, rooms are large and absolutely immaculate. The bathrooms are large and the 'disco showers' powerful and a delight to get clean in. Beds are so comfortable you don't want to get out of it in a morning! Now, breakfast, yummy and scrumptious and freshly cooked each morning by Barbara who is so lovely. There are also buffet items to choose from so you will eat like a king. The staff are so lovely and make your experience a fabulous one, many thanks to Carlo and Barbara for being so welcoming. The atmosphere in the hotel is one of a kind, warm and welcoming and the honesty bar is lovely. Fresh water is available (still and sparkling) for you to refill your kettle each day free of charge and the hotel in itself is great value for money. All in all, one of the best hotels I have ever been in thanks to the staff and the care they take to make you feel so welcome.

Excellent all round! The hotel made our trip! Beautiful and superbly cultured hotel, highlighting the picturesque area. The room was cleaned every day and beds were too, absolutely spotless! Breakfast, you basically had a private chef... happy to accommodate and would remember your order each morning, giving a very personal and friendly touch. The owner and staff are extremely helpful & knowledgeable of recommending local and authentic Tuscan restaurants and attractions. We could not ask for much more. Big thank you for a perfect birthday and first trip to the area. We wish them all the best for the future and we will be back!

What a lovely hotel this was. Close to the train station to go to Florence, Pisa, Lucca and more. Montecatini is a lovely quiet town, with some nice places to eat. You can get the Funicular up to Montecatini Alto, which is on top of a mountain. Very old town, with some bars and restaurants. SmArt Hotel Bartolini, is a nice quiet hotel, just a short walk from the main square. The staff are all so nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was changed and cleaned every day to a very high standard, with fresh towels too. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay, with a special shout out to Barbara for the lovely breakfasts every morning with a smile 😁 A great stay and hope to see you all again! Rm 106

Beautiful spa town and lovely small hotel. Staff welcoming and helpful. English spoken. Brilliant breakfast from buffet or cooked and prepared on ordering, so much choice! Nothing was too much trouble for Barbara, service with a smile always. Spotlessly Clean rooms

This hotel is fabulously positioned for the centre of Montecatini Terme and only a few minutes walk away from the railway station....the link to many of the beautiful cities in Tuscany. Nearby is an absolutely gorgeous park with many things to discover including a breathtaking spa building. There is a a large free carpark a short walk from the hotel for those exploring by road, and it's not too far to the funicular on foot which takes you to the magical old town of Montecatini Alto. The hotel itself is modern, stylish and clean throughout and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spotless and comfortable with plenty of storage for clothing. The bathroom was up to date and toiletries were included. Housekeeping was done on a daily basis. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom. During our stay we were made to feel very welcome and at ease there. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast was very good and pleasantly served with a smile every morning. The menu is varied to accommodate many tastes and includes a Tuscan Breakfast with cooked meats, local cheeses and cannelli beans served with Tuscan saltless bread. All absolutely delicious! They don't do evening meals but there are plenty of choices to eat out so not required.

Great hotel, friendly and warm staff, nice town and a great experience overall! Can warmly recommend this hotel to others. The breakfast staff was always happy and delivered great food. The front desk helped with ride to the airport and always had a smile on and greeted us in Italian on our way back to the room.

Highly recommend this hotel. It was excellent value for money, clean, nice sized rooms and good location. The location is a few streets away from the city centre so it’s an easy walk but nice and quiet for a good nights sleep. We have breakfast in our stay and I was just expecting a cold buffet but they take your order for a nice cooked breakfast. Things like poached eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, porridge etc. It was lovely and a nice start to the day instead of having to head out to look for somewhere. They also give you a large glass bottle in your room and you can refill it from their filtered tap downstairs. This was great instead of having to look for somewhere to buy bottled water for the room. Staff were also friendly and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. I would return to this hotel.

This is our second stay at this lovely hotel. The hotel is ideally situated near the centre of town and 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Our room was a good size, clean, great air conditioning and big bathroom. The breakfast is varied, fresh and well prepared. However it is the staff that make the hotel and our stay even more enjoyable. They are all super friendly and helpful. Helped us to sort out a taxi when the trains were disrupted. Definitely highly recommend and will stay there again.
