Parma, Viale Piacenza, 12/c 🧭 Map
This is an elegant older property. Overall it was nice stay and the folks there were very friendly and tried to be helpful. It's a bit outside of town but not too far. The parking was to be 15 Euros per day however I was charged $48 for two days for some reason. The television went out after a power blip around 8 PM on the second evening and never came back on. Apparently this affected the entire property...
A Charming Vintage Stay in Parma
We spent one night at Starhotels Du Parc and had a truly positive experience. The hotel has a distinct vintage charm—its age adds character rather than detracts. I personally loved the atmosphere, and everything was impressively clean, which made the stay all the more comfortable.
🚗 We parked our car in the hotel’s garage for €15, which was convenient and reasonably...
Nice hotel for an overnight stop. Located behind a beautiful park, great to visit during the day, especially with kids who can run around while you enjoy a glass of wine at the local park bar. I would avoid the park at night. Rooms were nicely decorated but a bit noisy. Breakfast was simple, but overall a good choice for a stopover.
This hotel transported me back to a 1960s film, built with pomp and circumstance. Everything is mahogany and rosewood. The breakfast restaurant has the same style, with neatly dressed staff. Unfortunately, we didn't eat at their restaurant. Everyone is, of course, friendly and does what they're supposed to. The hotel is centrally located in Parma, a 5-minute walk from the center. So, if you want to...
Very spacious and charming room. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but that adds to the charm. Clean, tidy, and with good service.
The hotel is well located – just a few minutes from a beautiful park and within short walking distance to the historic center. We really enjoyed our stay in Parma, and this hotel was in a perfect spot for exploring the city.
Amazing staying here! Staff were always nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable and kind every time. Excellent room service and I really appreciated the pillow menu! The quality of bed was very good and the room size was absolutely perfect also considering the amount of luggage we had! Good the parking service. Always find fresh aromatic water and candies at the entrance was absolutely a sweet plus!

Took a day trip to Parma from Florence and spent one night here. I made an error and booked the wrong night - a week out from the night I intended. Arrived at the hotel - a very short 5 minute walk from the train station - and explained situation to Andrea, who was at the front desk. He took care of me and my traveling companion and secured a room for each of us. He was so understanding and accommodating...
We stayed here in September with a group from our Senior University in Madrid. The rooms were comfortable; the staff efficient and friendly, the breakfast buffet very good. And it's only a 10 minute walk to the centre.
My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel for one night during our visit to Parma.
Located in close proximity to the railway station of Parma, it made our arrival and departure seamless. It was also within walking distance of the center of Parma and all the bustling restaurants, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
One of the first things that struck us was...
I’ve stayed at hotel Maria Luigia twice. Once ten years ago, and once just a few weeks back. The hotel has definitely improved in the past 10 years. Back then, some of the rooms were quite outdated and the elevators were slow and often out of service.
The hotel is now much more comfortable. I stayed at a nice renovated room, but my colleagues stayed at an outdated one.
The staff is attentive, however...
I stayed 3 nights for a business trip. The hotel was just reopen after covid19 lock down. I assume it wasn't as always. Breakfast was a little bit small. Rooms are very clean and the stuff is very kind and friendly. The location is perfect! 5 min walk from the city center
Had a great experience at the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the guys at breakfast, very jovial and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, we slept well.
Would definitely return if in the area

Not the best experience. Breakfast could be better. The rooms are big, but many number of flies and mosquitoes in the area made it hard to sleep. There was also a lot of noise from the nearby highway.
One of the beds had a broken leg and the shower head wouldn't stay in place. For the price not terrible, but the property could use some TLC.
Great restaurant! We liked everything very much! Delicious cuisine, friendly staff. Cleanliness and smiles on every corner. Bed linen was changed on time. The rooms were always clean
The hotel entrance is not obvious. Can have more indication to find.
the hotel is very big and we must walk a lot to reach our room but the room was good , the breakfast was not interesting
The sound insulation is very poor, and the voices next to you can be heard clearly

Lovely hotel. Great location and nice breakfast
The bald guy from the reception I did’t like the way he spoke to us.
The breakfast was good but the same everyday we stayed a week, I ordered French omelet and that what I got.
The Housekeeping team was amazing and friendly.
I stay here regularly for work and the location to city center, numerous restaurants, and the galleria is fantastic, as well as it’s right across from the supermarket. The hotel restaurant is delicious as well.Breakfast is adequate - very standard options for Italian hotels and they will make your coffee request on demand. The staff makes this place - the bartenders and front desk staff and maintenance...
Just outside of the old town. So it was easy to get around by foot. Felt like a business hotel. No real character. The breakfast was the worst we had in our two week Italy trip. Staff were efficient but cold.
Grand Hotel de la Ville: Comfortable rooms & delightful breakfast, but a disappointing shower experience left room for improvement.
Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are fine, really nothing to complain about. You have everything you need. It was a pleasant stay. Also the food in the hotel restaurant is delicious, try the linguine funghi!

We stayed at Novotel Parma and overall had a very good experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was rich and delicious.
We arrived late in the evening and I was truly impressed by the receptionist, Alexia. She was extremely kind, helpful, and friendly — a perfect welcome after a long trip.
However, the male receptionist on the morning shift the next day was quite the opposite...
The hotel is centrally located, just a five-minute walk from Parma’s main railway station. The check-in process was swift, and the reception staff were especially friendly. The hotel room is excellent and comfortable in every aspect. Both the room and the bathroom are air-conditioned—essential for Parma’s hot weather. The bathroom is pristine, and the shower is modern and easy to operate. The hotel...
Great location, only a short walk to and from the old town centre, and right next to the Parma Centrale. Parking available, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only slight downside was that the AC wasn’t working properly, but the staff ensured that we were well taken care of.
The hotel is located in a quiet and very welcoming area, with a staff that is always available and ready to meet every need. Although the pool was small, it was highly appreciated. During our stay, the children were given a passport which they had a great time with, and to be honest, I also had fun thanks to the activities offered! We did have a small issue with the sofa not being set up, but I want...
The location of this hotel is very convenient. They have the car parking but will charge Euro 18/ Day.
My husband, 6 year old son and I stayed here for 3 days in July 2025. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
My son enjoyed having their «Novotel passport» where you get a sticker when you accomplish a task …check-in, good night’s sleep, super breakfast, photo with the bear in the lobby, games, and check-out. At check-out, he got a little stuff teddy bear. This made his stay exciting. Also, we used...

👍👍Highly recommended! The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the train station. The hotel boasts a modern and elegant design, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of high-quality ingredients, including local Parma cheese and many local desserts. The receptionist was elegant, generous, and welcoming, giving me many local travel recommendations – fantastic!
Great location, 2 minutes to train station. New, very clean and big room.
Hotel staff are friendly, polite and eager to help you.
Room is clean and comfortable. However, adding a kettle and couple of teabags a d sugar would be useful.
The breakfast menu has nice variety matching all tastes.
The hotel location next to the train station makes commuting very convenient.
The hotel is quite good, right next to the train station, making it very convenient for getting around and close to clients. The rooms are also quite good. The breakfast at the hotel is quite rich with fruits.
Very nice stay. Would like to give a special shout out to Veronica at the breakfast buffet. She was very accommodating and each day went and steamed soy milk for me so I could have it With my coffee. Thanks Veronica!
This hotel in Parma was a wonderful surprise. Spacious and spotless throughout, with large, beautifully decorated rooms that feel inviting and comfortable. The staff were warm and professional, and we loved that pets are welcome. Just a short walk from the city center, yet quiet enough to relax, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Good, upmarket business hotel with a contemporary, stylish design, located just outside the city centre and close to the motorway exit. Very convenient if you are driving, as it offers ample parking, yet still handy for visiting the town.

Very clean, good design, convenient location for city center & highways. Good breakfast.
I appreciate for the fitness room too. There's a Michelin star restaurant in their property.
We had a fantastic stay at Link 124 Hotel Parma! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean, modern, and very well maintained — a true haven after long days of exploring. Good solid hotel, especially in Parma where there aren’t many.
We stayed only 1 night but the location was convenient and there's free parking.
Good hotel , small restaurant which can get very busy
Great location just off the A1.
Staff were so friendly and made such an effort with us.
The free bikes were a blessing to cycle into Parma in the rain, the receptionist advised to park at Piazza Garibaldi.
The room was clean and spacious with all the facilities needed.
The pool was clean with adequate chairs and an area for food:drinks.
Too far too walk to the centre but easy enough to drive or cycle
This is where I slept for one night before going to Milan.
This is by far the worst hotel service ever.
Still, cleanliness and facilities are not bad.
However, given the attitude of the reception staff, I will never visit this hotel again.
I can honestly say we had the warmest genuinely delivered welcome after a long drive up from Napoli which was so appreciated and lifted our tired, waning spirits...the staff have been so polite and engaging and what's more an absolute joy to chat with...dinner was molto bono and the wine suggestion excellent, the hotel is modern, tastefully decorated and very smart. A solid stay here. Comfortable beds and clean room. Great location very central with parking right upfront the door. Even had a nice sunset view. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Room was big(main building). Walls a bit thin but normal for a city building.
A solid hotel at an interesting location. Access to local landmarks is possible on foot only few 10+ meters. Interesting is the local market, which is a couple of meters away. Considering its facility and price, it was a satisfying stay here:

Only down side was you hear everything.

The train station is about a 5-minute walk away. The restaurant staff was friendly and helpful, and Parmesan cheese was provided for breakfast. The room was close to the road, and the windows were not very soundproof. The facilities were a bit basic.
Clean and quality rooms. 2 minutes walk from the train station and has 24/7 reception - which was great for us as due to train delays we only arrived in Parma at 12.30pm.

I try to stay at the Savoy whenever I am in Parma. The staff are friendly and it is a great location.
I'm not sure the hotel is worth of 4 stars, feels more like a 3 star hotel, as the inside is relatively dated and the room itself was just OK. However we had a decent stay. Dogs allowed. Last minute booking with after midnight arrival, was not a problem. Helpful staff.

It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the station, but I was surprised when I arrived! It was a very large hotel with a luxurious lobby, and although the room was the lowest grade, it was very spacious and the bathroom was clean and had a bathtub! For Japanese people, a bathtub is really appreciated. There was also a kettle, tea and coffee, and welcome potato chips, which made me excited 🥰
Old hotel, big rooms, average facilities, poor breakfast
