The reviews don’t do this hotel justice!

Firstly, we stayed here at the hotel, and couldn’t ask for a better room. Aircon was great, room was spacious, and had mini bar (water free but additional cost for everything else), great waterfall shower, decent TV, wardrobe and space too. It had a safe built in which was great to see.

The staff in the day were friendly and helpful and great checking in. Walked us to our room to show us around. The desk is manned 24hrs a day. Unfortunately, the man on the desk in the evening struggled with English when we were trying to confirm the checkout time for the next day.

There were only 2 things we can think that would make this hotel better.

1) The breakfast is quite limited in selection. It is buffet style but you have to order the hot food, which is things like eggs, pancakes, waffles and bacon.

2) The downstairs needs better aircon as it doesn’t feel like you get to the aircon until the floor of your room.

Overall we had a great stay, would highly recommend to everyone and would love to come back sometime.

This hotel is wonderful. The rooms are updated and super comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a visit to Pompeii! I highly recommend it!

It's so close to the entrance to the ruins and go at 9am there. 3 min walk to entrance. The room was nice and great value. I wouldn't spend a week but I think best place for visiting Pompei sites. Great thx to the receptionist for the restaurant recommendations. It's been the best food we had in Italy for best price. I would book again.

A nice hotel with a restaurant attached. The walk to the entrance of Pompeii is about 10 minutes, but when you walk out of the excavation site, you are at the front door again. We also had a view of the site from our room. The breakfast was not great. There was little choice and it left me a bit hungry. Some of the staff are nice, some are quite grumpy.

Good value, for sure! Although the hotel seems to be in decline (peeling paint in places) the overall ambience is fine. Room was good, air conditioning perfectly fine even in the hot part of summer. Offered a multi-course dinner deal 15 euro each that was definitely one of the best values during our 2-week Italy trip: primi, second, veg, and (admittedly very disappointing) dessert. Try their house wine, which is the "lacryma Christi" variety from vineyards next to Vesuvius. Breakfast was actually excellent: great pastries and coffee. The main drawback of the place is a certain sadness that descends in the evening. We were the only--absolutely the only--ones eating dinner on their giant front patio at 8pm, and that part of Pompeii is really dead after the tourists leave for the day. Not the fault of the hotel, obviously... If we ever stay the night in Pompeii again (good idea to do the Scavi in the morning to beat the heat in summer), we will definitely stay here again.
