Hotel Sporting

We absolutely fell in love with this place! 😍 Perfectly located on a cliff with breathtaking scenery. There truly are no words to fully express how it made us feel. The elevator to the beach is such a thoughtful and convenient feature, it made everything so much easier.

One small suggestion: it would be even better if the sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels on the beach were included for hotel guests without an extra fee.

Other than that, everything was perfect from start to finish!

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely town. Our room had a fantastic sea view and the sunsets were spectacular. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff were super friendly. There's a private beach but the only way down is to take a lift. I didn't see any stairs. We would return here

Incredible location; older hotel that has been upgraded with modern amenities. Lobby is on the top floor and all rooms overlook the Med, as the hotel is literally built into the side of a cliff.

Amazing experience - the Hotel has so much charm and the location is maybe one of the most beautiful we have seen. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We ended up extending our stay as we enjoyed it so much. Would 100% recommend staying here!

Ciro was so lovely, attentive and helpful. He booked us into Cerase restaurant with the most amazing view. He was extremely responsive when there was a general power outage.

The hotel is fabulous! With its own beach club. Great location, only 10min walk from train station. Breakfast buffet was so good. The staff is super friendly and service was impeccable. Would stay there again!

I had such a pleasure stay here, peaceful and beautiful little town, not so many tourists as Sorrento, but just 20mins train from there. The best thing about it is the incredible view and private beach. Staffs are super helpful. Couldn’t ask for more 🫶🏻 definitely highly recommended 💕

A wonderful hotel with a stunning view. The service was top-notch. The restaurant where we had breakfast became one of our favorites — great atmosphere and an excellent selection of food.

In the evening, we dined at the hotel’s restaurant with a beautiful view as well. The experience was truly exceptional. Prices at the restaurant are quite high, but it’s absolutely worth it: delicious food, complimentary bites, and a personalized approach. They really put a lot of effort into everything.

The only issue we had was at check-in: we were told that the hotel’s own parking was not available, but they offered a partner parking located just about a minute’s drive away. We were given a small paper ticket to present at the parking lot. To be honest, we assumed it would be free or cost a minimal fee.

However, when we returned the next day, we were told that one night costs €20. And among all the places we stayed — Meta, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, and Naples — this was the most expensive parking we encountered.

So be cautious: if you’re okay with parking on the street (the area felt relatively safe), that could be a cheaper option. Or try to find parking under different conditions, because this one is very expensive. Just be aware that one night costs €20 — and if you stay for three nights without asking the price upfront, you’ll end up paying €60.

I can't say enough good about Hotel Sporting. From the quiet location just a short train ride from Sorrento, to the gorgeous amenities and super attentive staff, we had a trip of a lifetime here. They have dinner on site with a large patio that overlooks Napoli Bay and it was idyllic. Anyone looking to head to this area of the world should definitely add this to their list.
