This hotel resort is a fantastic place to relax and recharge. It's very kid-friendly, and the staff are both amazing and friendly, paying great attention to detail. They did a wonderful job celebrating my friend's birthday. Most importantly, the food is incredible. They also have a great selection of wines, and the sommelier is very knowledgeable. Additionally, massages are available if booked in advance.

Great hotel only 40 mins from Naples, well connected with Pompei and Ercolano or Monte Faito great for hiking activities in summer or winter. Great SPA (a new one is coming by end of 2024) and food experience mixed with the typical products of the area. It's definetly my place to go when I want to relax, enjoy the nature and have great food.

Staying at this Resort was one of the best experiences in my life I have read through 100s of reviews before choosing my holiday and I'm so glad I picked this one the people were so nice especially Maria and her colleague unfortunately I've forgot his name but he helped us with the lending us a charger for the entire stay honestly I was just blown away by their hospitality simply just 11/10 anyday weather was beautiful the pool was amazing the food was the best I've ever tasted so if you are thinking of going here run don't walk because it's paradise.
The only downside (not to me but in general) is that it's very remote and you will NEED a car taxis are very expensive in Italy so you're best of renting a car or getting a bus like me other than that it was beautiful and amazing

I loved staying at the hotel mostly because of the staff! At the reception everybody talked very good English and we’re very keen to help and provide suggestions and alternatives!
The breakfast there is very tasty with a big variety of everything except the coffee, which is strange because Italy is the land of excellent coffee making… but they were happy to bring me coffee from their bar with ice in it so it was ok.
The pool and gardens are very well maintained and so is the interior in the public areas. The rooms though, especially the bathrooms are in need of some contemporary alterations eg bigger shower cabins and sound insulation between them as we could hear the people in the next room taking their shower and drying their hair at 12 midnight. Also the mattresses could use some memory foam cover which would make them suitable for most bodies.
It would be a great idea to get the electric car charger working as most rented cars are hybrid. We had an issue with our rented car and thank God one of the ladies at the reception called one of her relatives to assist us at a town near by.
In overall staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience and I will return any time back.

Nice place to stay and relax after visiting surrounding attractions or Napoli. Average hotel rooms size, small bathrooms with an extremely small showers, quite clean although bathroom mats definitely require refreshing.
The reception staff is truly amazing, especially Mr Gian Marco (I hope I got it right)with an unusually excellent English, very kind, helpful and professional.
From the restaurant staff, highly standing our Mr Francesco who was an excellent advisor in local products and menu.
The hotel is placed up in the mountains with a beautiful views, huge parking place with a bit tricky exit but hotel staff are more than keen to help out with this problem(thank you Mr Gian Marco), stopping cars on the street.
I would recommend some more variety in breakfast services and menu, it is quite narrow, coffee from the vending machine.
In general: nice, safe place to stay.

We stayed here as a one night stopover, arrived late. Room was perfectly okay, but curtains were fine and see through, as soon as the sun came up I was awake, around 5am, not good. Breakfast was good. Stunning views.

Firstly this resort is 20 mins drive up the mountain from the nearest town. With no footpath and no transport, so if you don't have a car or moped you have to dice with death to make it to the bus stop down the mountain road. There are no restaurants or taxis locally and the staff do NOT speak English.
The food in the 'restaurant' is over priced and frozen.
There are no treatments to call this a spa hotel.
The room was lovely, with a beautiful view, this is the ONLY reason I rated it 1 stars.
We asked for a taxi down to the nearest village of Pimonte where we had been recommended a local pizzeria. The receptionist said no taxis and then magically managed to find one, probably her mum and dad, as a citroen minivan turned up with a man and lady in front seats, they drove us the mile down the mountain to the pizzeria and charged us €30, yes 30 to take us down the road about 2 minutes from the hotel!! Disgusting!
We could not get back from the pizzeria as again no taxis, so we had to beg our airport taxi to pick us up, €20 euros! - you can't walk up/down the mountain road, its very dangerous especially at night.
If you are of an ethnic background other than white, I would suggest you bring your thick skin as the staff will ignore you, laugh at you and talk about you in Italian and pretend they don't understand (we know they do as they were happily conversing, or attempting to, in English , with a Danish family). They did not serve us at breakfast, just pointed to a table, where as they served the other guests and spoke courteously to them.
It is NOT a resort, maybe a 3 star hotel at most.
To top it all off there was a power cut one of the 3 days we were there and as we entered the hotel after a day visiting Pompeii, no one mentioned the power outage or apologised. We had no idea how long it would be without power, no offer of candles and there was no mention of it when we checked out the next day. It lasted approx 4 hrs after we returned, no idea how long it had been going on before.
All in all, our vist to this region of Italy put us off ever visiting Italy again and this hotel played a huge part in that decision.

On the app booking the photos are mixed of 2 hotels.
I booked the resort sant'angelo spa and we got to stay in villa Dona Carmella that has nothing of a resort ,I would say a 3 star hotel, probably many years ago could of been a 4*.
We ear everything that's happening in the next bedroom ,and when I say everything it's everything. And the noise goes until 1:00am time I'm writing this review.
Pool we have to go across the road to the other hotel ,the room has no coffee or tea ( stayed in B&B 3* and they had ).TV is a small one ,from your bed to see TV you better have good eyesight.
Bed and pillows hard ,stone hard ,if you like that you lucky
Location it's right on the top of the mountain and has no transport,if you don't have your own car you can't go anywhere.
There is only 1 restaurant nearby if you don't want to eat at the hotel.
Can't say I liked anything in this hotel

The hotel was great. Food pretty bland and not much choice. The views are beautiful but the location is isolated without a car. Its practically at the top of the mountains and not very safe to walk as you are walking on the road. The staff are very helpful particularly Antonio who picked us up from Naples airport and dropped us back there on our return journey. Carmela was helpful and friendly. The public transport is cheap and regular and a goid way to get about. Taxis are expensive snd are difficult to get from this hotel due to its location. Mount Vesuvius was the view from our room.

Nice plage. 4 stars Also bades on a very fair price. Nice pool area. Ok breakfast. Too pricy resturant at night. Good help in reception. Stunning view.
