Hotel Mary

We stayed with our children for one week and this trip had been absolutely unforgettable! The staff are so friendly and accommodating! I can’t say enough about them… They really go above and beyond and helped us make our first family trip to Italy one to never forget. The views are spectacular and the room size was comfortable for a family of 4. Our children enjoyed swimming in the heated pool. My husband and I enjoyed dinners and drinks with spectacular sunsets overlooking the Mediterranean. The town is small but everyone speaks English (or tried to help us if they didn’t!) and is close to the train station for day trips to t”Sorrento, Pompeii, etc. This is truly one special place and can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much to everyone there for a magical stay!

We did not stay at the hotel but we ate dinner in their dining room. It was a fabulous experience especially because of our gentleman server. He was so excited and passionate about everything on the menu that we were too. The shared apertif platter was really delicious. The view is incredible and it was a lovely experience.
Definitely come here if you're looking for a spectacular view while you dine.

The town is roughly between Naples and Sorrento, so if you drive by yourself, you will not be disappointed if you choose this hotel.

This hotel and staff were so nice. Every single staff member we interacted with (quite a lot) were all so friendly and helpful. If ever I was to run a hotel I would love the staff to be as amazing as this team.

We had a rental car and the staff parked it securely in the gated parking area. We had access to the car anytime we wanted.

The beach club down the bottom of the pier is as so good too. It’s lots of steps down but you can pay €2 to get the shuttle bus back up if you don’t fancy the steps.

Lastly. The view from the infinity pool was so unexpected but absolutely beautiful. You can see right out the ocean and watch the sun go down.

One more thing to add! Breakfast and dinner was sensational too.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Mary and want to highlight the fantastic staff who made our visit special. Vincenzo in the restaurant and his team truly went the extra mile, providing excellent service with no fuss and making us feel very welcome. Their dedication and friendly attitude really stood out and added to our overall positive experience.

We absolutely loved the stunning views at Hotel Mary! The scenery was truly breathtaking, providing a perfect backdrop for our stay. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or relaxing in the evening, the vistas added a special touch to our experience. It’s definitely a highlight and makes the hotel a wonderful place to unwind and take in the beauty of the surroundings.

The only downside was our room, 503. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy due to the sound of every flush of a toilet and shower, which we could hear through the walls. It seemed that the waste pipe ran through this room, making it a bit disappointing for a restful night.

Despite that, we appreciated the warm hospitality and the effort of the staff. We would consider staying again, hopefully in a quieter room!

The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Sorrento. The sea view rooms have a very beautiful view. The breakfast area has an unbeatable view. The room is very clean and spacious. The restaurant on the terrace in the town is a 10-minute walk away. The seafood pasta is especially delicious and has a beautiful view of the sunset.

The service was amazing. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to accommodate. After arriving late we were late for breakfast but the staff put together a player of pastries and serve us coffee on the balcony. The bartender Rafael made an amazing drinks. My girlfriend asked for a cocktail ( French Blonde) off the menu and he was able to make it. We would definitely stay there again despite the hotel being a drive away from Sorrento.

We are loving hotel mary. We have used it as a base to see the local area, in particular pompei, vesuvius, amalfi coast and capri.  The hotel is beautiful, the room we are in number 501 is elegant, spacious and perfect with plenty of storage - we have a rear door that opens to our own outdoor table and chairs, and just 30 footsteps you are at the outdoor pool area with infinity pool and all of this faces the coastline with spectacular views and sunsets - the views are incredible.

Our breakfast is included with our room and that is fantastic.  The quality of the ingredients, but more importantly the quality of service and high standards are simply the most exceptional of any hotel we've ever stayed in.

Francesco on reception suggested some local restaurants in Vice Equense, as well as the one in the hotel.  We tried the other restaurants which were great, however the Vistamare hotel restaurant is exceptional.  The food is of such high quality, perfectly presented and tasting incredible, and the service from Vincenzo and the other amazing waiters is spmething we have not experienced beforehand, outstanding.  The chef clearly knows how to prepare food to a high calibre.  I don't think we will be dining anywhere else, this is the best.

The hotel is clean and beautifully presented, the decor is to a high standard, and the staff are all kind (and beautiful) and do so much to welcome you as guests.

I love this place.  We have only been here 3 days but it's my favourite hotel in Italy.

I have experienced exceptional hospitality at Hotel Mary, with a special mention to the restaurant manager Mr Vincent, whose attentiveness and thoughtfulness truly set the standard for outstanding service. His keen observation of guests’ needs and willingness to go the extra mile ensure that every visitor enjoys a memorable and seamless experience.

The hotel itself boasts impeccable amenities, everything feels modern, clean and designed for comfort. The nice views further enhance the overall ambiance and stay.

Location wise, it’s not so close to the station and could be a bit hassled to reach with luggage.
