Resort & Winery Bosco De Medici

What a fabulous resort! A calm, beautiful oasis 15 minutes walk to the nearest entrance of the ruins. Room good size, well equipped and very clean. Had issue with shower door not closing, fixed immediately. Reception staff very helpful at all times and amazing at helping to trace missing baggage. Breakfast is lovely, quite simple as only 18 rooms but everything you could need. Pool area is beautiful and peaceful with stunning views of Vesuvius. Had 2 meals at the winery with a VERY fussy husband. First was so good we returned and took our time over 3 courses, AMAZING food, go try even if not staying here. Overall worth 10 stars.

Extremely helpful staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have a nice stay. The property is adorned with fruit trees everywhere, has delicious food and is relatively close to everything. It is about a 15 min walk to get to the main areas including one of the entrances to the Pompeii Ruins. If I visit Pompeii again, I will be staying here

What an amazing place. I've been in Milano, Venecia, Firenze, Verona, Padua, Napoli, etc... None of these places had such a complete experience. Not only that the vineyard is beautiful, people is AMAZING all off the staff at the restaurant knows at least 3 languages but that's not it. They know very well the service language. The temperature was so f high yet they are all so tidy with such an amazing attitude, they actually look happy that you're there and when you're back the acknowledgement OMG, something that doesn't happen often (or never) in other locations around Italy. All my special thanks to Nicoletta, and the maitre that learned Spanish and Portuguese sorry I didn't catch your name. Front desk staff so helpful, showing us around with the map, helping us up printing tickets and been aware of our key room lost. My husband and I are both hoteliers, we know exactly how the business works but you know just how treat foreign people. Thank you thank you thank you, you're the best!!!! We'll be back for sure!

Very pleasant experience! Highly recommended! Delucious breakfast, friendly service, convenient location, great view to Vesuvius, excellent restaurant and winery, wine tasting, horse riding, green garden with grapes and fruit trees. I wish to be back!

My husband and I had a wine tasting lunch here. Nello was an informative tour guide who showed passion and enthusiasm. Really enjoyed it.

Very enjoyable stay here, aside from our restaurant experience which I reviewed separately. The front desk staff here was extremely helpful and friendly and it was a very nice room. We didn't mind the walk to the ruins and through town, I think it's a typical distance you'd expect to walk in Europe. Though I agree that the area immediately surrounding the resort isn't the best, I'd hardly call it a bad neighborhood, but then I also lived in LA for 15 years.

We had a lovely 6 night stay in December with a 4yo and a 5mth old. The weather was nice, an average of about 15 degrees. The hotel was fantastic lovely rooms and staff, the winery has a brilliant restaurant with excellent food. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Had a fantastic stay here for 3 nights after rescuing what could've been a disaster trip. We originally booked in a different place close by but immediately left the first morning once I got a confirmed booking here. It really did save the weekend. My only real issue was the cost. Sat and Sun night were about £180 which I feel was about right, but Monday was about £420 which was way too much. I expect the Ritz for that price. But, I chose to pay it and as I said, the hotel and staff rescued what could've turned into a bad weekend.
Def recommend at the £180 per night rate but not so much at £420.

Really lovely staff. Just 18 basic rooms- beautiful pool & view over Vesuvius. Two little niggles- I thought charging for tea & coffee in the room was a bit mean, and the air conditioning was very noisy. It couldn't be fixed in our short time span, but I'm sure they did it for the next guests. The restaurant is fantastic. Best food we had in the whole 10 day mini tour- I would definitely return. Breakfast was fine, good coffee and sat under the bulging kiwi fruit Vine for it. Good times!
