Hotel Oriente

Hotel Oriente is, by far, a gem yet to be discovered. Only 2 min away from the train station, built on a rock and with breath taking views over the sea a d the famous Vesuvius. Rooms have everything you need, some of them with coquet balconies or even large terraces and its own bath tab. The shared bath tab is on a lovely terrace overlooking the beautiful bay. A few sunbeds are around this.
The hotel has its own beach area reserved on the bay. Is absolutely astonishing. Safe, beautiful, with little restaurants and coffee shops, this area gives you a lot of options. The hotel offers a complementary shuttle bus to take you to and back from the beach, although on foot will only take 10 minutes.
The hotel is located In Vico Equense, a quiet little town, with plenty of places to eat and visit. If you want to relax after a long trip or spend a few quiet days in between visiting the numerous attractions in the area, this is the right place. Only 15 min from Sorrento, 25 min to Pompei, direct train to Naples, has an ideal location. Busses stop outside the train station and take you the little towns around or directly to Naples. You can travel from here to Faito and take the cable car from Castellammare back to Vico Equense.
Hotel Oriente benefits from a bar which is open until 11 PM. Has large terraces overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy having a drink or just resting. The breakfast is delicious, with wide variety of food to satisfy all tastes. You can either eat inside or on another terrace which opens nicely at one end of the restaurant. Dinner is served daily in a different restaurant, but you have to book in the morning. The menu is different every single day. Is a set menu with at least three options for each meal. You can eat 3 courses for 30 euros, but I can also choose only one or two courses – price calculated accordingly.
Would you prefer to receive a packed lunch while in the sun on the beach, you will be given the form at breakfast to fill in and the lunch will be delivered to you on the beach. This is 15 euro.
The personnel have been always helpful. Our safe was not functional on arrival and required changing. This was done promptly. The air conditioning did not start one morning but was immediately fixed while we were away for a stroll. A huge thank you to all the reception staff and to Vincenzo and all the restaurant team for their services. We always had support and advice.
A fantastic stay at this hotel. A place we have to return.

Just back from a few days staying in The Hotel Orinte in Vico Equense. We had a fantastic time. Carmella and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. (especially when we needed an early morning pick up to airport)
the Hotel itself is located about a 3 min walk from train station and about 6 mins from the main town square. Our room was air-conditioned and spotlessly clean. it was serviced everyday with fresh towels and toiletries. There was plenty of selection for breakfast. lots of yummy pastries and cakes, plenty of fruit and meats and chesses and juices.
The private beach is about a ten min walk down (We advise booking the shuttle bus coming back up the hill) Had a fantastic stay and look forward to retuning in the future

Lovely small hotel in beautiful location right next to train station so easy access to all sights. Amazing attention staff, especially vincazio,Gennare and Carlo in the restaurant. They were lovely and welcoming. Fabio also on reception and even the gentleman doing garden offered to carry our bags
Overall an amazing holiday we would recommend and come back to.

Very friendly staff!
You have to walk 5-10 minutes downhill to the beach. The hotel offers a shuttle service for free, means it’s no problem to get up and down easily without walking.
The hotel itself is very clean. We had a pretty room that got cleaned every day. The breakfast contains a lot of sweet stuff, fresh orange juice, fruits and coffee!
Overall a great experience!

The hotel is near the train station, with a scenic view from the restaurant of the hotel and rooms. The rooms are average standard, quite clean, spacious, with the usual problems in the bathroom (pozabite effluents, old plumbing). Almost each room has a terrace or balcony. The Breakfast buffet, you can order eggs.
Overall, an OK hotel.

just returned from a week stay here my husband and I stayed in room 251 rooms were cleaned every day the hotel is spotless the staff are so lovely food was also very good great location definitely recommend a stay here some of the reviews state that you couldn't always get on the bay and food was cold we didn't experience any of this just a great stay thank you oriente

We loved the hotel and the staff. Lovely food, 4 courses every night. Buffet breakfast. Very relaxing atmosphere. The train and bus station are 5 mins walk away, so easy to do all the sightseeing trips. Would definitely return
