After forgetting two books and a thermo bottle in the room, we contacted the hotel right away. The staff initially responded and even asked for my shipping address, which I promptly sent. I also offered to cover all expenses and include an extra €15 as a thank-you. After that, communication stopped. I followed up several times, and at one point my message was even read but ignored.
I understand that helping return forgotten items isn’t an obligation. But if you do engage and give someone hope, then ghosting them is simply not acceptable. A clear “no” would have been far more professional than silence.
This isn’t how you build trust or earn repeat business. A disappointing experience that overshadowed an otherwise unremarkable stay.
Structure that is being renovated and located near the sea, on the main road of Miramare (close to the Airport, Rimini and Riccione connected by train, bus, metromare)
Very good breakfast and quite varied both sweet and savory.
Highly recommended
Room furnishings a bit dated, but the breakfast is super!!!
