They advertise a restaurant but when you want to book they say that they have guests from exterior and so no restaurant.
Room service? Yes but be prepared to eat standing up. There is no chair in the room.
Bathroom especially the shower is really not modern.
The spa is just a joke! 215€ for a simple face care! 120€ to go the pool for 2 hours!… that is called a rip-off.
We paid for a extra for the car but nobody took care of the car.
Well this is definitely not a 5 stars hotel.
One positive point, the food is really good. breakfast and dinner fabulous.
The GHR is a grand dame, known throughout the world—and rightly so. Luxury hotels elsewhere could learn a thing or two from GHR’s staff with regard to guest service.
If one finds oneself in delightful Rimini, just drive here and check in—there’s no other option quite like the GHR.
The elevator in the lobby is old, very small and for lack of expression seems to be dangerous. It’s very old tech and there are no mechanisms to hold the door open. It closes very fast and I’d hate to see what happens if a person, especially a kid gets an arm or leg stuck in it! But it is a very stately hotel. Buffet breakfast is just average for a hotel of that supposed class. It’s by no means a 5 star hotel. No where near that.
