We stayed for 9 days in this amazing hotel! As soon as we arrived the owners welcomed us with a good coffee and a bottle of water (all offered by them), parking in the reserved area below the hotel, direct access to the beach! Rooms always very clean! Always fresh food, if you asked for a small alternative they always tried to accommodate you! All the staff are always kind and smiling!! One evening...

Lovely stay for several days. Breakfast was outstanding, as was the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. Didn't do 5 stars because - 1) the area around the pool deck was dirty and a tad gross, and 2) the outside of the building looks run down, as are aspects of the neighborhood.

The service was brilliant. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. We didn't have an appropriate adapter to charge our phones as is different than other parts of europe, and they gave us one. A mixed score on the staff. The lady on duty when we arrived and over the first night was wonderful, could not do enough. The lady on duty the following 24 hrs could not have been less interested. The property advertised having free bike hire but the receptionist claimed never to have heard of this and was dismissive

The hotel is dated and it could benefit from various updates. The carpets on the staircase are very dirty and the hotel does not have a hoover (I asked for one). The staff is nice but when you ask them for help they do not go above and beyond (on the day of the check out I asked for help ordering a taxi to which I was told it was a GP that day and it will be very difficult to get one [despite mentioning...

A lot of restaurants and shops are close to the hotel. The beach was close as well and a lot of parking lots are available. The room we had need to be renovated.

We stayed at the Augustus for 5 nights in early September. The deluxe room we had was great, with 2 chairs on the balcony. The breakfast was amazing and tasty with soooo much variety, however need to mention that the scrambled eggs and bacon were always cold. The lift is pretty slow at busy times but we used the stairs. Best hotel in Rimini so far. The staff are i ncredybly nice, humorous and social. The breakfast view is awesome (You can see the sea) and the food is as good too. Our room gets cleaned everyday, when we come back in our room there’s an amazing smell. Bed is comfortable, feels like home. We stayed for two nights at this hotel which is conveniently located close to the beach. They don't have a deal for the "lido" but they gave us contacts when we asked ahead of our stay. Great hotel with great services! The location is very nice and pretty close to the beach. The rooms are cleaned regularly and very well. We stayed as couple in the age of 23 and 27. We had a big gap to the other guests which were 65+ mostly. The room and the hotel are very clean. The food is amazing, you have buffet and you are served dishes, you chose the previous day. The cooks and the servants did an amazing job! The Hotel Calypso is a no frills hotel a stone's throw from the main beach in Rimini. The rooms are basic, but clean and fine for a short stay. The breakfast buffet was fairly extensive with a good range of options to choose from. Overall nothing outstanding, but okay for a few nights away. Main train station is a short walk from the hotel.

All I can say is the rooms are not soundproof as you can clearly hear the person next to your room wherethere they are on a phone call or moving around. My challenge was talking to the lady at reception in English. She had no courtesy.
