We were transferred to this hotel due to a problem with our booking elsewhere. The hotel rooms were excellent (we had 3 rooms all with sea facing large balconies). Breakfast was excellent as was the bar/cafe on the ground floor. The staff were exceptional !! Every one of them was helpful and happy and went out of their way to serve us - i can honestly say the best crew i have ever met in a hotel. Would not hesitate in recommending this hotel but would suggest a hire car of great benefit for exploring this coastline.

Ordered 15 days superior room because at the pictures it looks great with the private jacuzzi. When I came there the jacuzzi was not even working and dirty. Service was ok when the one man that could speak English. More like a 3 star hostel not a even close to a 3 star hotel

We visited this the Main Palace Hotel in September 2022 and can honestly say this was very disappointing. The beds in the room had tears in the divan base, there was lots of black mould in the shower and the furniture on the balcony was very worn. The hotel was generally in a very poor state and could do with updating. We definitely would not go back. It is the poorest hotel we have ever stayed in.

This is a modest, fairly worn, hotel that is located on the main street in front of the water in Roccalumera. Service personnel at desk and breakfast were friendly and room was spartan but clean and comfortable. There is a garage under the hotel for parking, which was an additional 8 Euro per day. Guest amenities in bathroom were minimal, but sufficient. We had a nice sized balcony with great view of the sea. Breakfast selection was OK, but limited. As long as you are not expecting luxury hotel experience, this hotel is perfectly acceptable place to stay, within reasonable driving distance of Messina to the north, and Naxos and Taormina to the south. It is also close to Savoca.

I have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the main palace hotel in Sicily. Very clean, fantastic food. Family run hotel which was just so lovely. Made lots of friends. The staff could not do enough for you. Somewhere I would go back to. We went with Saga. Ann looked after us so well. Thank you to Ann from saga and everyone at the main palace hotel

Perfect location to explore Sicily . Train station a 5 minute walk. Food delicious. Staff very helpful and always polite. The beach just outside is beautiful. Shops are very close too. Village next door has two beautiful churches.

Nice rooms if you have sea view - breackfast: poor qualty - all in all ok but in my opinion far away from a 4 star hotel.

Stayed here for a week and it was the longest week of my life....hotel needs big money to bring up to a decent standard. Outside furniture was worn and broken, pool was dirty with debris on the bottom of it. Sunbeds were worn and damaged along with the lighting. The hotel is situated by the beach but beware after the beginning of September everything closes down. Food was OK but you had to order your meal 24 hrs earlier! Would I recommend..no.

Good potential but tired and in need of attention. Boken tiles in small car park. In bedroom sockets came from wall when plug removed. Similarly bathroom water fashias. Staff tried hard (mostly). Lighting in corridors poor and in some cSes switched off. Grass in need of cutting. Furniture worn, badly in some cases. Location very good opposite the beach.
