Hotel Royal

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional! We spent 4 wonderful days here, and I can honestly say it exceeded all our expectations. The breakfast was a true highlight, with everything made from the highest quality ingredients. I particularly loved the fresh fruit press, the availability of flower pollen to sprinkle on my muesli, the homemade jams, and my absolute favorite—the house-made pistachio cream. The view from our room was breathtaking, and the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return!

This hotel has one of the most beautiful, unique views. The hospitality is great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Amazing shower and bathroom. The dinner is not included in the price, but it was so delicious that I recommend it. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, with plenty of choices. Guests have access to a spa/sauna area. Be warned, most men are completely naked, as I am a woman, and a tourist in Europe, it caught me off guard but the spa amenities took my mind off of that. So I do wish the spa area was separated by gender. We were given a bus pass for the local areas for free. And there is a snack time in the afternoon, which is free, but if you order a beer or alcoholic drinks, they will charge you. I also wish the hotel offered English channels on the TV for night time. Overall, a great hotel, the mountain view and location is worth returning for.

I came back to Hotel Royal after the 3years covid-break hoping that everything will be as I remembered. And it was! They managed very well and I enjoyed a perfect week in Sesto-Moso. I have to mention the cappuccino that is for sure the best in the area :-) Thanks to Peter (SK) and Watschinger-Steiner Family, wish you the best and hopefully see you again in 2023.

If you are looking for an amazing place to ski in/out in Sesto then this is the place for you! Hotel Royal has once again outdone itself on my most recent trip. The rooms are amazingly clean, modern, and spacious along with excellent sound deadening as we did not hear a thing while in our room. The staff are PHENOMENAL, I have never stayed somewhere and felt so at home. They are extremely nice, polite, and helpful. The food is amazing and they go above and beyond to cater to any allergies you may have. As someone with celiac disease I have never been provided with the options and care that the staff here provides. This is one of the few places I feel truly comfortable to eat at while traveling! Everything about this hotel makes for a wonderful stay in the mountains. I plan on coming back here for years to come.

We spent two wonderful weeks, perfect customer oriented management, breakfast and dinner with quality products and always very appreciated. The rooms equipped with every comfort and maximum attention to cleanliness. Location of the property excellent. All perfect!!!! Excellent structure for our needs, very kind and helpful staff, cuisine full of interesting dishes, clean and quiet hotel, a relaxing holiday. Located in a location full of trails. Convenient to public transport.

Hotel with a great location. Very clean, super friendly and nice staff, always available with a smile.We stayed with three small children, the room was spacious, new and overlooking the mountains.

An impeccable welcome. Always smiling. Each themed dinner, with particular dishes, but well balanced. Suitable for all palates. Clean and very welcoming. Warm, but with attention to the smallest details. From the furniture to the presentation of the table.

Feel at home with a luxury touch.
We usually stay in Dobbiaco, specifically for the night run competition, however this time have chosen to change and definitely came back.
Very nice hotel, at first sight looked big, but the warmth of staff and family made you feel in a little 'box of chocolates', meals very nicely prepared and with the right size. Wireless in the room very good connection and the room Panorama just beautiful from view, to high standard of clean to very quiet. At the departure you receive little jar with herbs that is a lovely surprise.
The hotel can arrange also the ski lift and you receive for free the bus pass for the area which became very handy when you are with the ski at 15km away from the hotel and there us no way you will do it back skiing on the 'sci de fondo'.
Location excellent _ 50 mtr from the first ski lift, 300 mtr from the ski rent shop, 500 mtr from the wonderfully maintained 'sci de fondo' lanes that brings you to San Candido and Dobbiaco _ highly recommend to do it, 15 km of beautiful scenery. The lanes are not busy at all and nor the waiting for the ski lifts.
We were one evening late for dinner and also forgot to specify the dinner choices; we appologised to the staff, after which it became a joke from my boyfriend to ask permission to eat his dessert, I need to try this trick at home!
