Beautiful historic building in the center of Trieste. The staff is very kind! Subîtes is great, my, 216, is great, above the restaurant is a bit noisy (you can hear the noise of chairs during cleaning after the service until late at night). Otherwise a great stay

Magnificent hotel, in the historic RAS Assicurazioni building. Splendid rooms, tastefully furnished in keeping with the early twentieth century architecture and original spaces of the time restored and perfectly integrated with the hotel. Among these, Caffè Berlam is an authentic pearl of art and history. The hotel is ideally located for visiting Trieste on foot, right in the center, a few steps from the Rive, Piazza Unità and the Revoltella Museum. I stayed in a room on the third floor with a view of the Molo Audace, large and super comfortable. Breakfast with everything you could wish for, including lactose-free yogurt which I really appreciated, given my allergy. Kind, smiling and professional staff. Congratulations to everyone!

Our stay at the DoubleTree in Trieste was unforgettable. The hotel’s stunning beauty and historic charm left us in awe. The staff, from check-in to breakfast, were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring us and our dogs were well accommodated. They went above and beyond for our dogs by providing a cozy doggy bed and water bowl, which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious in an elegant setting. We highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!

Don't usually frequent Doubletree properties but this location is worthy of a stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, it's exterior leading into a relatively upscale lobby and very friendly service. Check in was a breeze and the elevators are pretty quick too. We felt the room was spacious enough with an okay view if you're not facing the inside of the hotel. The area the hotel is in is very active, with it being close to the port and restaurants among other attractions. That said, it was always nice and quiet. The beds are also very comfy. We did also end up using their business center which was very reliable when printing out cruise documents.

We had an extraordinary stay of for nights at this VERY unique and beautiful property. From the minute we walked up in front of the hotel, to being greeted by the staff (helping with the luggage from the street), through every aspect, we were thrilled. Even as a Diamond member, it is common to not get upgraded, however the manager moved us to a junior suite and it overlooked the front entrance and street. It was huge, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom quite large and will appointed. The breakfast was good, the building is absolutely stunning inside and out and our only disappointment was that we didn't visit or try the spa until our last night. The reflexology massage was terrific, as was Danjiel, the spa manager. I highly recommend this property for all the reasons above, plus the location is great and convenient to everything.

Check-in staff and the man who helped with our baggage were wonderful. Also had great service at breakfast.

Breakfast was everything one could want and more. The cakes and pastries were out of this world.

The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are of comparable quality. I especially liked the cool natural light feature on the outside rooms.

Very lovely hotel that is located centrally. We got a room upgrade so that we can feel ourselves more comfortable.

We were not really impressed by the breakfast but it was fine. I think you can find there some basic options. Anyway total impression was very positive.

Lovely 5 days spent here, good accessibility, 30min free parking in front of the hotel and we got welcome cookies after checking in :)

Clean rooms, fancy and tasty buffet breakfast - the breakfast crew was very nice to us.

The whole building is a piece of art, from the outside, and the inside too.

On the rainy days we got umbrella at the reception :)

I've spent my birthday here, and they even suprised me with a piece of cake, very lovely gesture.

Wonderful experience! Beautiful rooms, amazing breakfast which came included in our rate. Friendly staff and great location. This hotel was absolutely stunning. The extra perks such as included bottle water in the rooms and the treat at check in were much appreciated. One of the best hotel stays we have ever had. And again, the breakfast was amazing!

Great experience here! Super location and the building itself is just stunning. I love the combination of the historical architecture, statues and the modern furniture. Breakfast was great, my room was facing the backyard, so it was very quiet. Just one point, water for the shower was not hot enough to me.
