Astoria Hotel Italia

It's a hotel at Udine City Center and the most satisfying hotel.

Slept like a baby! Having a separate bathroom is a big plus that you don’t usually see in hotels nowadays. If you want to be at walking distance from all the good places in Udine, Astoria is the place to be! Great location.

A traditional style hotel with easy walking access to most of the city within 5-15 minutes. Within walking distance of the larger attractions, good restaurants, osterias, bars, shopping etc. The staff are friendly and engaging; wifi is reliable, showers are hot. The rooms are mostly noise free regarding noise from inside the hotel. However, if you have a room that faces the square or the Main Street, you may get some noise in the evenings from people on the street/square coming through the window. Breakfast is OK but I always preferred to go outside to eat in one of the local coffee shops. The rooms are typical for European-sized hotel rooms. I would stay again mostly for the location, comfort and cost.

I usually come here with my family every time we visit Udine, about 4-5 times a year, and we are always satisfied. Super perfect location, right in the heart of Udine, a few steps from the charming and lively piazza San Giacomo. Nearby you can find many good restaurants and bars as well as shops. But don’t miss the restaurant at Astoria, it’s excellent and classy. Staff is all very kind and attentive, rooms are well maintained and functional. I’d just suggest to add some USB plugs at the bed sides, they come always handy nowadays…

Good location, right in the centre. Hotel rooms were very spacious clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful and there was a very large selection at breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.
