We spent three unforgettable nights at Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus, and it is no exaggeration to say that words or even photographs cannot do the view justice. The landscape unfurls in such majestic silence that it feels almost sacred. From dawn’s golden breath to the violet hush of twilight, the mountains seem to suspend time itself.

A View Beyond Description

The panorama surrounding the hotel is not merely scenic; it is transcendent. The peaks rise like cathedral spires, the valleys breathe with morning mist, and each hour paints the sky anew. To gaze upon it is to witness the language of nature spoken fluently in light and shadow.

The Sky Pool A Masterpiece in Mid Air

The legendary Sky Pool is a marvel of design and sensation, a glass fronted infinity pool that appears to hover in the heavens. Swimming there, one feels both weightless and eternal, drifting between sky and mountain in an exquisite blur of reflection.
It is said that across the vast Alpine region there are only about eight to ten comparable sky pools, a reminder of just how exceptional this experience truly is.

Heaven and Hell The Spa of Contrasts

Then there is the Heaven and Hell wellness area, an architectural poem in contrasts. Suspended between worlds, it invites guests to journey through warmth and chill, elevation and descent, three jacuzzis at 36 °C mirrored against saunas and a cold rain shower below.
Our private jacuzzi experience was, in every sense, unforgettable. The sequence, shower, sauna, jacuzzi, framed by that impossible mountain view, is unlike anything we have ever encountered. It is both romantic and elemental, an intimate immersion in the poetry of contrast.

The cuisine at Hubertus is nothing short of divine: eclectic, imaginative, and elegantly executed. Each plate felt like an artist’s composition, alpine ingredients transformed through creativity and care.

Our Lasting Impression

We left Hubertus with a quiet promise to return. The memories linger, the mirror of the sky in the pool’s water, the breath of cold air on warm skin, the serenity of mountains embracing the horizon.

We have stayed in quite a few nice hotels around the world. I think Alpine might take the top spot out of anywhere we have been. The pool was just as incredible as the pictures and we got lucky to mostly have it to our selfs or with one other group. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, our server Manuela was so great. The saunas and hot tubs were honestly the nicest I have ever been in “I work for a hot tub manufacturer”. The room was excellent, we got a family room as that was the only one available, it was probably a bit big for us but no complaints. Special thanks to Hanna and Evi for booking our incredible stay.

We spent the most amazing 5 nights at Hotel Hubertus. My wife and I have stayed at some really nice hotels previously and none of them compared to our stay here. Literally every single detail is thought out. The rooms are amazing, the pools are perfect, everything is so clean, the towels, robes and really everything was just phenomenal. There is even a really nice hiking backpack set in our room for us to use all trip. The staff is welcoming, patient and extremely accommodating. And We can't forget about the food. We were a bit nervous of not knowing what to expect from the food, but every single meal was better than the next. Some of the best bites we've ever had. Breakfast was great and the midday "snack" was really a full lunch to come back to after our daily activities and dinners were incredible. We can't wait to return at some point. This is a really special place. Thank you Hotel Hubertus for an amazing stay.

The best hotel we've stayed in it exceeded our expectations in every way. Excellent food, friendly helpful staff made you feel very welcome nothing to much trouble. All facilities absolutely spotless. Our trips out with Fabian and Sonja were really interesting and they both very knowledgeable. Then of course there's the outstanding scenery and location..simply wonderful. We intend to return next year.

Stunning location and amazing experience. We planned a lot of our own hiking trips but also took advantage of some of the hotel's planned activities including area hikes and wellness services. Fabian and Sonja are excellent guides and really got to know the guests. We also really enjoyed learning the art of bread baking from Hans. It was a fantastic mix of adventure and relaxation. Unlike most resort experiences where you feel as if you are held captive in Disney World, Hubertus offers options to get out and enjoy as much of the surrounding area as you like. You could easily stay here and never lift a finger, or have wall to wall activities. The meals are delicious and the service excellent. We enjoyed a huge variety of local foods excellently prepared. But the centerpiece of the resort is the Sky Pool. We booked this hotel specifically for the pool and we were not disappointed. The view is stunning, and what's more, for a swimmer like myself, having a full 25m pool for morning laps was a real treat. We enjoyed going out on adventures every day and then relaxing poolside or in the sauna every afternoon.

Watched the original BBC programme and thought it was our type of hotel. Expectations were high and pleased to say were not only met but exceeded. As you approach from Valdaora you can see the hotel perched on the hillside and as you come ever closer it becomes ever more striking. Efficient and friendly check-in with a welcome drink in the relaxing bar, We were then shown to our room. Bedroom was spacious, well equipped and both sitting area and bed very comfortable. Cleanliness in bedroom and, indeed, throughout the hotel was amazing. Quality of food and the ever changing menus were most impressive. Once again, restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. The range of activities kept us occupied. Not pressurised to partake - your choice how much or little. Did one of the walks nearly every day during our 8 night stay. Guides were knowledgeable and multi lingual. The infinity pool is amazing and was a comfortable 33c the whole time. We have been lucky enough to stay at some of the best hotels in the world and this was amongst the best. We will return

The Hubertus Hotel is simply amazing! The location is spectacular and the rooms, the terrace and the relaxation area offer unforgettable views of the dolomites and their valleys. Every aspect is extremely well taken care of, with friendly and helpful staff. Food was great, especially the evening dinners. Swimming in the Skypool and relaxing in the jacuzzi in the Heaven & Hell area, while enjoying the spectacular views were the best moments of our stay. I'm really looking forward to return. Highly recommended!

This was the most amazing hotel experience I’ve had. Truly the highest quality. It is well worth the price for all of the amenities, the food, and the service. I would gladly stay here again.
