Lovely little place. Staff very helpful. Superb breakfasts that effectively saved lunch. We stayed for dinner twice and really enjoyed it. We were also very happy they provided an earlier breakfast and lunch they were under no obligation to do when we went to Dubrovnik. You ideally need a car but at least away from the traffic around Kotor.

Hotel Capitano was the end of our honeymoon, and what a finale. Service was perfect, and it's such a small hotel that you get it alot of the time all by yourself. The evening at the restaurant was very romantic, and food delicious. The room had a very big and comfortable and the shower amazing. Breakfast had everything that you could wish for. 10/10

Phenomenal hotel, wonderful architecture, good restaurant, lovely atmosphere. Clean, generally very good at communication.
As others have noted, parking is a bit of a walk on a narrow road, but that's standard for this area.
Had a minor issue with receiving room service (room was entered, bed was made) when we explicitly asked not to and had the do not disturb sign on the door, otherwise would be 5 stars.
Very close to the ferry allowing easy access to Kotor and elsewhere.

This hotel is beautiful. Felt very exclusive with so few rooms. Lovely small pool right outside your room door. The room was stunning and we loved the view of the ferry port. Great breakfast spread plus a menu card. A shop 2 minutes away. Nice restaurants walking distance. The highlight are the amazing staff, Ana and Elena. They went above and beyond to help us with arranging beach visits, boat tours, being kind with our toddler and going so far as to finding toys for her to take to our room. Dinner there was our first and best meal of our whole 2 weeks in the Balkans. Great chef and very friendly server. The hotel also produce their own wine which I would highly recommend. Thank you Hotel Capitano.

Super accommodation. The only thing is that it can be noisy as there is a ferry station just in front of the hotel.
Beautiful breakfast and dinner next to the swimming pool, very charming ambiance.

Booked last minute. Got in late and was served a wonderful meal in a nice little area outside. Room is large and completely remodeled. Service is grea!

An oasis in the Sea! This small boutique hotel is an absolute delight to stay, if you are planning to visit Montenegro. Loved the quaint and cosy vibe of the hotel. The breakfast spread is tastefully done. The whole hotel smells beautiful and I love the fact how the team takes care of personalising each and every aspect of your stay. From guiding you to navigate through the city to personalising occasions such as Birthdays etc.
The rooms are cozy and the views from the room are stunning.
Overall, loved our stay in Montenegro at this quaint and cosy boutique hotel.

A week ago we stayed 4 nights at this hotel and our stay was a fabulous experience - cozy place, that creates this "special atmosphere" you would expect from a boutique hotel. The hotel room we had was very spacious, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. A wide range of choice for breakfast - buffet and "a la carte" choice included - every day you can have something different! The swimming pool place was great for our 5 year old son and was very convenient to have breakfast in the morning or just relax in the evening. Last but not least the stuff and service was one of the best I had so far - always helpful and small chats to help to better understand the history and the culture of Montenegro! I would highly recommend this place!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was an unforgettable experience. In this fantastic place we felt so so good that it's even hard to desribe. Our hotel room was very large and comfortable (even for family with 2 kids). Breakfasts was amazing too- every day something different from buffet and "a la carte". Our kids loved the swimming pool and we spent nice time in the garden. Hotel service was one of the best we had so far - we even received from them a sweet gift for our anniversary. ☺️

I stayed here in August for two nights with my 15 year old daughter and wife. The welcome was very warm and genuine and the service throughout our stay was beyond reproach. The room that we had was large and airy and looked out over the bay. The ferry port opposite does create some noise but truth be told, I never noticed it. The pool is very pleasant and the garden is a great place to relax. All in all our brief stay was too short and I wish we had allowed more time at the Hotel Capitano.
