I had a fantastic stay! The staff were friendly, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The on-site restaurant was excellent, and the overall experience felt luxurious. highly recommended, and I’d definitely stay again!

The hotel is located in the small town of Zablik next to the Tomizar National Forest Park. The view is outside the window, and the room is small and cozy. I especially recommend the hotel for dinner. The beef is very good. We ordered another serving after eating it.

The location is good, not far from the entrance of the national park. The hotel restaurant is a famous local celebrity. You need to make a reservation in advance to get a seat for dinner. The taste is good.

The hotel is very close to the lake, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the entrance. The hotel has welcome juice and wine, which is very considerate. The facilities are better, but the overall experience is good.

One of the points of our trip to Montenegro was the town of Zabljak with the wonderful Black Lake nature reserve. For the night, we chose the Soa hotel and this is the best choice in this place. Great place. Spacious room with fireplace. Beautiful view. Good location not far from Black Lake. Not bad breakfast. Nothing supernatural but you won't go hungry. One minus is untrained staff. The fireplace started to smoke and smoke went into the room. The guy who came from reception didn't know how to fix it.

It's just a bit outside town however its still 5min ride from Zabljak. The service is great, everyone is very friendly! Breakfast is very good, not as varied as some other hotels but very delicious. We also tried some homemade pies (attached photo). We booked via phone call and got a room price of 60e per night per person, and it was free for two children as well. The polar star is a little bit outside town. The view from the rooms is great, everything was clear and the breakfast delicious. The only thing that bothered us is, that the walls are very thin and loud neighbors can be heared in your room. Also the elevator is not good for people that don’t like narrow spaced or are easily scared by elevators. He seemed quiet bumby

We enjoyed the hotel and the breakfast and dinner. The only thing that bothers me is the stairs at the entrance to the hotel and also towards the elevator... In my opinion, paving or building a slope where you can drag your luggage would solve a lot for elderly or disabled people.

I stayed here for one night with my girlfriend while visiting the national park. The hotel fits in well with the local houses and other similar buildings and has ample parking to the front. Perfect place to stay while you're exploring Durmitor. Hotel was clean, food options great -breakfast, which was included in price, and dinner buffet, which is very reasonably priced. Stuff was friendly any helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I visited this hotel as a tour leader with a group of 25 persons, in April 2025. It is a beautiful mountain hotel but need better management. Be careful the hotel has no elevator. So, if you have mobilities issues reconsider and if you have a room in the upper floors and a heavy luggage you need assistance. Amazing! I had the worst day with all sorts of things going wrong until I got to this place already a bit late at night. And then the staff was so unbelievably warm, kind, approachable and accommodating, they all made me feel right at home and made me forget about all the hard day I had. I would like to personally thank everyone at Black Pine for pulling off such a fantastic weekend. Had an amazing time.

We came with a tourist group for dinner. I ordered fish. Fish was different kind that it was promissed. It was dry and burn. Cucumbers were really bitter, none has tasted them before giving to customers. I paid 20eur for worst meal in Montenegro. I dont recommend this place for meal.

Myself and my partner came here for food after a long day of hiking in the national park. The portions were good, the food gave a delicious introduction to the regional food of the area. The gentleman serving us was very pleasant.

The room is quite large but there is no elevator to the 3rd floor. The hotel is 20mins walk into the town.

The restaurant staff is friendly and they'll bend over backwards to get what you want; food is great. The hotel rooms next door seem to vary in quality. We had a twin room facing the road. Without a/c it was hot and the road is noisy from early morning to late at night.

Furniture was a bit old but everything was clean. There are 2 restaurants nearby. It's not far from Žabljak. Overall nice accomodation.

The hotel is ok for the price. The rooms have to be checked and renovated. The cooker did not work, and the cleaners left a dirty glass and some items from past visitors in the room.

It is about the restaurant. We loved it! Very good choice of food. Tasty, good value, freshly made dishes. Fried fish with potatoes is absolutely delicious 😋 Definitely recommend 👌 Yes, unfortunately people are smoking right there... But, overall, it is way better than everything else you can find in the area of Zabljak or Kalasin.

The staff (Boyan) greeted us in a very friendly manner and explained where we could park our motorcycles safely. He also showed me around the rooms I had booked (3) for my group. He clearly explained everything about the hotel and the menu. The food was excellent and although the rooms were a little tired they were very comfortable.

The house itself is unique and definitely worth a visit! Built completely out of wood it combines basic comfort and rustic Montenegro character. We had a room an en-suite bathroom, which was nice. amazing wooden house run by a very nice family. shared bathroom could detour some people, but if you like wooden rooms and tasty homemade cooking this is a great place. it's a bit out of town, so I would advise having a car. Also, I would advise you to organize your own trips to local attractions since you'll get a better deal. I didn't, so one star went away with my money :)

Very, very nice host. Therefore 5 stars. Prefer studio over twin room. Good location and very clean.

Price is fair for what You get- it is the cheapest place in whole Zabljak, owner does not show the place as hight end hotel. The issue that is clear to everyone who stayed there is the bathroom - one for all the guests and the owner, which means queues in the morning, even up to one hour of waiting. Tip: you better eat breakfast somewhere else.

Just for One night is ok for the price.

OK for the price Terrible breakfast in a smelly kitchen Double bed is just two simple mattress put on a double frame with simple sheets on it. It leaves a hole in the middle Good enough for a night or two.

Everything is fair - the guesthouse with no claims on any stars, but if you want to stay overnight in a tourist place and at the same time save your money, then this place is perfect for this. There is one bathroom for all rooms, free breakfast (bread with jam and fanta) from 7 am to 9 am, WiFi and parking.

Racho was an amazing host, he gave us a lot of important advices about the duemitor park and really tried to make our stay as good as it could be !

Great location, right next to the city centre. Although the hosts didn’t speak so much English, they were very hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was massive but consisted only of bread, butter and jam for my 2 mornings there. The rooms were extremely cosy.

Wonderful family. Incredibly kind and very cosy accommodation. They let us use the kitchen which was very nice and taught us some words in Serbian! Defo recommend for travellers looking to rest a bit and do some hikes.

Lovely family, really helpful, they let us do the laundry for 3€ and we could leave clothes till afternoon next day without any problem :)

Very friendly staff - they waited until almost midnight for us to check-in due to us underestimating the drive through Durmitor Park. The breakfast was huge and delicious and the waiter very helpful. The room was not luxurious but was clean and quiet and the bed was comfy. Great Base from which to explore the park.

We booked a stay for 6 nights. Center, clean and most importantly a nice old lady. You can feel a family atmosphere from her, she cares to make our stay pleasant. He offers very tasty hot rolls and drinks. We feel at home. It radiates warmth and good energy. We highly recommend 🥰 And Madam, we wish you good health ♥ ️
