We have stayed at Point De Vue guesthouse for part our annual holiday to Malta and Gozo over many years. It’s a well run, friendly, family owned business offering good service and value. Feels for us like a second home. The location is perfect for visiting the Silent City, Rabat and pretty much anywhere around Malta. There is a bus stop just outside and another further up the road with regular buses that will get you to Valletta, Sliema, the airport and more. Breakfast is always fab and the staff are really friendly. Nothing seems too much trouble.

Right next to Mdina—perfect location for an early morning or evening stroll through the streets of this ancient town. Delicious breakfast included. We’d definitely stay here again!

We are about to leave Point de Vue, following a ten night stay. For us, this guesthouse was just perfect. The situation is amazing, so convenient for Rabat and beautiful Mdina. Also, easy access to the rest of the island. The guesthouse is just the kind of accommodation we seek. Comfortable, friendly and characterful. We stayed in two rooms, front and back. We preferred our back-facing room, with Maltese balcony and views over the countryside. It had a faded elegance, with its lovely tiled floor and turquoise chandelier. Without exception, the staff were welcoming, friendly and kind. What a treat. We ate a hearty breakfast each morning, with plenty of flexible choice. Evening meals are huge and tasty. The next door South East Asian restaurant has a really good menu, with delicious food. So, a really good choice if you wish to avoid huge, modern and faceless hotels. Just perfect for us, very experienced travellers.

The hotel was very popular, and the breakfast was great – freshly baked bread and fried eggs, very fragrant and delicious. The staff were also very friendly! It's right next to tourist attractions, which is really great!

Great location for Rabat and Mdina. A historical hotel with some great features. It is a one star hotel but punches above its weight. The team are friendly and accommodating and the food and drinks are excellent value for money, as is the accommodation. Highly recommended for the budget conscious traveller looking for a genuine Maltese experience.

Wonderful location, a few steps from the historic Medina and also very near local buses to all parts of Malta. I loved day trips, swimming in the sea at Buggiba/St Paul's Bay, for example. The hotel terrace is a local meeting point, so we felt like part of the lovely town of Rabbat, and got to know local shops easily. Local people were so friendly - and the staff of the hotel were like a family and extended the same personal friendliness to us. I would definitely return. It was like staying in a very special historic building, with all the comforts of Today.

There is no elevator. If your luggage is important, it will be difficult to carry it by yourself.

The hotel is located in an unbeatable location in front of the main gate of Mdina and next to Rabat. It is a majestic building with white brick walls and high ceilings. The room has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast is fantastic. Without a doubt 100% recommended.
