The hotel is nice n clean near sea bars ect staff friendly food breakfast is poor same plastic bacon wearied sausage over cooked eggs if you have mobility problems forget it step up to hotel no easy access no help with suitcases s late night resepetion hardly spoke English very tricky

I spent 4 nights in the hotel. My room was internal room without windows outside, only to the inside shaft, so had no natural light, but these types of rooms are much cheaper than those with view of the bay and balcony. Keep it in consideration while choosing the room. My purpose was just to sleep here, I'm not a type of enjoying my room and staying in the hotel. Very well connected by bus from and to airport, great location on the shore of the sea in Sliema. Hotel has a inside pool and also on the top floor outside swimming pool on the roof. BTW, very impressive view of the Exile bay and sunset from the top balcony, 7th floor. Breakfast was great, lot of choices and all the time full of food, coffee from the automatic machine, plenty places to sit , never felt to overcrowded. Lot of restaurant nearby. Very good choice for hotel to spent few nights to discover whole Malta and Gozo island.

The location is great! The rest - not so much. The outdoor pool was closed even though it’s over 20°C outside. You have to pay a fee of 2€ per person to access their indoor pool. The reception refused to accept card payment for this. The indoor pool was also really cold and not worth the visit. The rooms were spacious but the electricity was constantly going on and off in our room. We also requested a room high up and far away from the elevator, but got 3rd floor literally right next to the elevator. There is absolutely zero sound isolation from the room to the hallways so you would wake up if someone opened a door on the same floor. The entire hotel had a over-perfumed smell as if it’s trying to cover something up. We also got spammed about 4 times regarding airport pickup service which is double the price of a regular taxi.

The hotel was a hit, thanks to the recommendation. It is in a good location for using public transport and visiting the nearby attractions on foot. Everything is arranged, clean, the rooms are spacious enough and adequately equipped, the sea view from the terrace is perfect. The employees are extremely kind and ready to help, there is a smile at every step. We are very satisfied and I hope that we will come to visit again as soon as possible.

Great value, fantastic view from the room, comfy beds, breakfast was decent, and the staff were lovely and friendly. The indoor swimming pool, though small, did the job just fine.

The only issue is the construction work going on next door, but I'd happily stay here again. Late check out til 6 PM was a godsend after a big night out!

We stayed at Plaza Regency Hotel for 10 nights at the end of October.
Our room was nice. It had a balcony with a side sea view. The bathroom was a bit small.
It was weird that you had to pay extra to get a mini fridge in your room.
The room was cleaned every day, but not the balcony. The staff members were helpful and polite.
We liked the swimming pool on the roof.
The restaurant where the breakfast was served was on the sixth floor. You could enjoy a great view with your morning coffee.
The breakfast was really boring, the same options every day. You could find something to eat, but I would appreciate more variety.
The hotel is located on a busy street in the heart of Sliema. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. There was a bus stop just in front of the entrance.
Overall, the hotel was OK. We rented a car for a week. Thanks to the hotel's central location, we explored Malta, and it wasn't more than 20-25 km to any far point of the island.

Overall stay is fine and good! Worth the money i can say. But need to mind that the hotel did not provide toothbrushes nor toothpaste. So i need to buy them on the first day outside. The breakfast is okay but just same menu everyday. Not much options as well for meat, only ham and bacon. I include some of pics of view from the rooftop swimming pool.
