The Embassy Valletta Hotel

We had an incredible stay at the Embassy Hotel in Valletta, Malta. The service was exceptional—every need we had was met promptly by the friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel.

One of the highlights of our stay was spending peaceful days on the rooftop terrace and by the pool. Although it was sometimes tricky to find available sunbeds, we managed to snag a couple on a few lucky occasions. The rooftop staff were always welcoming and ready to assist, adding to the relaxing atmosphere.

The rooftop pool itself was stunning, with breathtaking views of the city. The infinity design and glass barriers created a truly immersive panoramic view of Valletta. Although the pool could have been a bit warmer, especially in the cooler hours, the refreshing temperature was a relief during the extreme heat wave that hit during half of our holiday.

Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return to this magical spot right in the heart of Valletta.

Quick stop here for dinner with views. Beautiful roof-top bar and pool, amazing view. Luxurious interior decoration and lots of friendly staff at the roof top bar. Delicious food, great ambiance after a busy long day. Recommended for a few days stay in Valletta.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. I requested an early check-in through booking, and although it wasn’t confirmed via email, they said they would do their best. When we arrived, around 9 AM, the room was ready. It was absolutely perfect as we had been up since very early in the morning, and we managed to get some sleep before going out. The breakfast was very rich, and the restaurant had an impressive view. Everyone wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The location was extraordinary, right in the heart of Valletta, and the noise wasn’t too noticeable.

A few things were rated around 8-9 out of 10, rather than a perfect 10. First of all, we didn’t have a balcony in our room. Probably, if we had asked, they would have changed it, but it didn’t occur to us that there were rooms without balconies. Then, coming from a less humid area, we felt the need for a dehumidifier in the room. Clothes worn on a Monday were still damp by Saturday, towels as well, and T-shirts wouldn’t dry (even though the air conditioning was on almost continuously). We couldn’t make a reservation at the rooftop restaurant through the app; I understand it wasn’t working for a while. The rooms were quite dark, and we needed to use the lights even during the day.

The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and modern. The bathroom was large and well-appointed, exceeding my expectations. Every morning, we savored a delicious breakfast at the hotel's rooftop restaurant with stunning views overlooking Valletta. The rooftop restaurant also offers lunch and dinner, but dining there at sunset was an unforgettable experience. The rooftop features a small yet lovely infinity pool. The hotel's location is unbeatable; situated in the heart of the old town, it allows easy access to shops, restaurants, and major sights. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again.

Best experience, we so loved staying here. From the moment we walked in the door we were made welcome. Rooms are a good size & well appointed. Roof Top pool amazing. The staff so helpful Alex & Luka really looked after us every time we needed assistance. Definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed.

After a full on month travelling around Malta and Sicily, the Embassy was a place to be pampered for a few days. Service was impeccable. The staff cannot do enough for you. The rooms and views were lovely. The rooftop terrace bar and pool were the perfect place to cool down and relax. A wonderful experience.

We spent a week here and rarely do i give a review with 5 stars. Alex in Reception was so helpful, even walking outside the hotel to point us in the right direction. The rooms are spacious and well designed with luxury bath robes and slippers. Cold water in the corridor to fill up your water jug. The only drawback was the street noise but that's because the hotel is right in the centre. The breakfast had a good choice with some homemade biscuits. All in all, a fine hotel with very helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Brilliant hotel in the centre if Valletta.

We stayed here for a week and are really pleased that we chose this hotel. The room was spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated with everything you need or a comfortable stay.

Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant itself has stunning views over the harbour and cathedral nearby.

Best part is the staff. From wait staff to receptionists everyone is remarkably friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommend this hotel.
