Best Hotels in Valetta

Excellent hotel and superb location for visiting Valletta (10 minutes walk to the City Gate and the bus station). We booked for 5 nights and at check-in were given a complementary upgrade to a sea view room

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The en-suite had a combined bath and shower and quality toiletries. Breakfast was very good with a wide hot and cold choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

Even a beer took 15minutes to arrive and waiters were hanging around waiting for drinks. The waiters were full of apology but that shouldn’t have been necessary. Service at breakfast and in our rooms was very good

The balcony was directly facing the small harbour where coincidentally some yachts were preparing for the Rolex Middle Sea race (please see photos). Many of the crews were also, not surprisingly, staying at the hotel

What a room! I was hoping for a high floor. Reception was level 6 and we were given a bedroom on level 2. The porter asked which room we were in and when told said it was a very nice room

There is also a complimentary shuttle to the City Gate / bus station area every 20 minutes if needed. Would we stay here again? Definitely

The breakfast was very, very good. The staff at this hotel are truly outstanding and really represent the very best in guest focussed hospitality

The Phoencia is a wonderful hotel. All of the staff are courteous, efficient and friendly, and they all seem happy in their work. The rooms are spotless and the restaurant is excellent

We used the spa and indoor pool daily and the grounds and outdoor heated pool are simply fabulous. You need to book the spa but it is included for guests not charged extra like some hotels

From receptionist, all staff around lounge, room service, breakfast service, garden staff, then to management, I can say that Phoenicia did a job well done keeping their staff professional and well mannered which impress me to have a warm and comfortable stay

Our room was lovely and it was lovely seeing the bed made up so nice, the bouquet of roses and champagne waiting for us in our arrival, as we chose the package that included this

A special mention to the restaurant breakfast staff who work very hard and were very busy on Sunday, but made the time to clear a prepare a table in the conservatory

One of the best stays I had recently. The hotel is pretty, well cleaned with great employees, always ready to help you

The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early

It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large, could fit 3 people

Bathroom and linens were clean. Breakfast has more than enougj options with quality ingredients. Above all, the staff were lovely and very attentive

Location is great, Valletta can be reached via ferry (ferry in 5 minute walk distance), St. Julian in 20 minutes via taxi

All of them greeted us like old friends and gave us tips how to enjoy Malta like a local. We will be definitely be coming back again

A friend and I had lunch at Iniala. The menu was extensive with lots of choice. The food arrived quickly and the waiters who looked after us were lovely. The service was excellent as was the food and coffee

Great boutique hotel, website is not great in explaining the difference in quality between staying at the harbour House vs Iniala Modern. With the latter being a lot more sparse, in furniture and in other services

Exceptional customer service. Unfortunately had to cancel plans to stay at this time but they handled everything with such grace. We can't wait to go and stay at this beautiful hotel.

Makes sure you make a separate dining reservation if you want to eat there as the hotel seem to not hold back any tables for hotel guests, which is a fail

The prices are high but Iniala is a place you go for an experience. An experience I highly recommend

Especially liked the walk in shower "room" with 2 rainforest heads, more than big enough for two to shower at once. My wife wanted to move in just because of the shower

Excellent 5 star boutique hotel with views across the harbour to Valletta. Well equipped rooms, most with sea view and balcony. The road outside can be noisy when the balcony door open

Land's End Boutique Hotel is a truly wonderful place and highly recommended! The hotel boasts a spectacular view of the bay and Valletta, both from the balcony and the restaurant, creating a breathtaking experience from morning to evening

The staff was absolutely delightful, professional, and friendly. Special thanks go to the lady in the breakfast restaurant, who made each morning so pleasant

The hotel's living room is spacious and inviting, with a great selection of beverages and snacks, creating a perfect chill-out atmosphere to unwind

Only minor draw back is they didn't seem to have a green policy, except refillable glass water bottles, so gave new towels every day, even when asked not to. Someone needs to think of the planet and water use

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gomerino Hotel in Malta, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience! The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, situated right in the heart of Malta's Storico vibrant atmosphere, making it easy to explore nearby attractions

A wonderful place for a beautiful getaway in our lovely capital city Valletta. As a local I was truly impressed by the insanely high quality of service Gomerino offers and will visit again for sure

Extremely convenient location (but no car park - you can park at one of the free car parks about 10 mins walk). Beautiful room and charming staff. The spa and massage sessions were solid

The rooftop bar was nice and inexpensive. One criticism: The breakfast was a little average and the coffee was absolutely appalling. That said, the manager was really lovely and was certainly a star of the restaurant

The panoramic sights are breathtaking and, in my opinion, make the stay absolutely worth it. Overall, I highly recommend the Gomerino Hotel for anyone looking to experience the best of Malta

Great location, very convenient for Valletta and the ferry to 3 cities. Lovely roof terrace with pool, bar service and view of the Grand harbor. Breakfast was terrific, a mix of local dishes and brunch classics

It was good taste, nothing noteworthy -the hotel is modern and cared for, massive terrace, nice tile floor, staff are soooo nice with friendly service Some of the constructive feedback: -should have more complimentary water in rooms, one bottle not enough -there should be a higher privacy screen between the terraces on the 5th floor, it's a little low to have comfortable tanning

Excellent experience with some room for improvement

We had an exceptional stay at La Falconeria. We were very lucky to be upgraded to room 502 which has a terrace and stunning views over Valletta. The room was spacious, with a modern bathroom and air conditioning

maybe even just put tall bushes between -towels were scratchy for the otherwise high quality of the hotel, should be a bit better comfort -at check in or during the stay no one told us we could go to the sister hotel for rooftop pool if we wanted to

It's not a big deal but I only found out from Google reviews -the tile floors show off the dirt and hair and other stuff so you can tell that it's not cleaned (thoroughly?) -the lounge chairs on the terrace are bizarre shape

you can't lie flat on them, you have to awkwardly sit in them only. They'd be better off with just cheaper lie fast than the super funky designs

Had a wonderful stay here: staff is terrific, location is the best and the hotel is very clean (cleaning lady is small but great at the same time!)

The most beautiful hotel I Have ever been in there designer is amazing colour choices and decor, the thing that was disappointing was the noise ot the church bells through the nite and working early in morning in hotel

Everywhere very clean + instant coffee, tea, kettle and 2 free water bottles are in the room. The breakfast was varied and sufficient, there were never any waiting times

The rooms are typically small for Malta, but perfectly adequate. Plenty of storage space, bed a bit hard, but that will be a matter of taste

The only unpleasant thing was that it was always very hot in the room at the end of March, as the ventilation can only heat at this time

The single room I had was a bit low on the windows (only a small window to the air duct) but that is the only minus I could think of
