We visited this hotel last year and loved it. However we’ve recently been back and had to wait till well after 3pm for our room (check in 3pm)which meant we wasted a lot of our first day
The swift check-in included a complimentary upgrade to a full sea-view room. Celebrating my partner's birthday, the hotel went above and beyond
It is supposed to be a five star hotel, unfortunately it is showing signs of fatigue. The tiles in the bath room are chipped and has become hard to clean as a result
This hotel is in a tremendous location for visiting Valletta. Hotel itself is good, with comfortable rooms and beds. The pool area is excellent, with a large pool and also access to swim in the sea
However, service remains good and the breakfast offers a good choice. There is a small private beach which allows bathing in the sea with fish swimming around you, which was very pleasant
The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The en-suite had a combined bath and shower and quality toiletries. Breakfast was very good with a wide hot and cold choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

The breakfast was very, very good. The staff at this hotel are truly outstanding and really represent the very best in guest focussed hospitality
the room was excellent, the servie was good and the location too
I attended a conference at The Phoenicia Hotel and was impressed by the well-equipped meeting facilities and the attentive service. The lunch provided was excellent, showcasing fresh and flavorful dishes
The Phoencia is a wonderful hotel. All of the staff are courteous, efficient and friendly, and they all seem happy in their work. The rooms are spotless and the restaurant is excellent
Amazing Hotel! I met a client here for drinks and had a great time. Lovely atmosphere in an excellent location and to top it off, very friendly staff. I will definitely return.
The service is very good, very attentive and accommodating

One of the best stays I had recently. The hotel is pretty, well cleaned with great employees, always ready to help you
The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early
It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large, could fit 3 people
Bathroom and linens were clean. Breakfast has more than enougj options with quality ingredients. Above all, the staff were lovely and very attentive
Location is great, Valletta can be reached via ferry (ferry in 5 minute walk distance), St. Julian in 20 minutes via taxi
All of them greeted us like old friends and gave us tips how to enjoy Malta like a local. We will be definitely be coming back again

Breakfast has as options from all the items of the English breakfast ( bacon, eggs, sausages, beans etc ) to croissants, different kinds of breads, yogurts etc. recommended for both business and holidays
There is a restaurant, but we did not eat there. There is a pool on the 11th floor. Inside the pool area is also a sauna, steam room, and showers. The staff at the front desk was super friendly and helpful
The hotel is located in the Slieme district. There are nearby many options from food to clothing with a shopping center. It is on the seaside and it gets busy and crowded at night
Marleny ;) she was making my day everyday! The breakfast is fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The pool is cool too, with an amazing view of Valletta
Wonderful hotel on a great location. Spacious rooms, well stocked with coffee, tea and chilled water. There are additional waterpoints at certain floors
Welcoming hotel bar on the first floor (also part of Hammett's Monastik restaurant) with comfortable seats, a sunny balcony and a stunning view of Valetta's citadel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gomerino Hotel in Malta, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience! The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, situated right in the heart of Malta's Storico vibrant atmosphere, making it easy to explore nearby attractions
The panoramic sights are breathtaking and, in my opinion, make the stay absolutely worth it. Overall, I highly recommend the Gomerino Hotel for anyone looking to experience the best of Malta
Special thanks to Madlene and Roniel, the Filipino servers, who were so kind and attentive to our needs
Breakfast: aside from the usual buffet, there’s also a menu where you can order one of the meals and they cook it for you on the spot
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was delicious and offered a great variety, ensuring a perfect start to each day. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the superb rooftop view of the harbor
The rooftop bar was nice and inexpensive. One criticism: The breakfast was a little average and the coffee was absolutely appalling. That said, the manager was really lovely and was certainly a star of the restaurant
We had such a wonderful first trip to Malta, also thanks to having a comfortable hotel to stay in. The hotel was super clean, with a classic old world feel but totally updated to be comfortable

It was good taste, nothing noteworthy
-the hotel is modern and cared for, massive terrace, nice tile floor, staff are soooo nice with friendly service
Some of the constructive feedback:
-should have more complimentary water in rooms, one bottle not enough
-there should be a higher privacy screen between the terraces on the 5th floor, it's a little low to have comfortable tanning
Excellent experience with some room for improvement
We had an exceptional stay at La Falconeria. We were very lucky to be upgraded to room 502 which has a terrace and stunning views over Valletta. The room was spacious, with a modern bathroom and air conditioning
maybe even just put tall bushes between
-towels were scratchy for the otherwise high quality of the hotel, should be a bit better comfort
-at check in or during the stay no one told us we could go to the sister hotel for rooftop pool if we wanted to
It's not a big deal but I only found out from Google reviews
-the tile floors show off the dirt and hair and other stuff so you can tell that it's not cleaned (thoroughly?)
-the lounge chairs on the terrace are bizarre shape
you can't lie flat on them, you have to awkwardly sit in them only. They'd be better off with just cheaper lie fast than the super funky designs

Had a wonderful stay here: staff is terrific, location is the best and the hotel is very clean (cleaning lady is small but great at the same time!)
The most beautiful hotel I Have ever been in there designer is amazing colour choices and decor, the thing that was disappointing was the noise ot the church bells through the nite and working early in morning in hotel
Great location, warm staff, beautiful room. Walkable to everything that matters in Valletta. It’s also near the Valletta-Sliema Ferry Terminal. I also loved that the bus terminal is about 10 mins away
It is a fantastic small city hotel in the heart of Valletta. The staff were amiable and always willing to help. The room had everything you needed. There was a great selection for breakfast
Everywhere very clean + instant coffee, tea, kettle and 2 free water bottles are in the room. The breakfast was varied and sufficient, there were never any waiting times
The rooms are typically small for Malta, but perfectly adequate. Plenty of storage space, bed a bit hard, but that will be a matter of taste

Nice hotel, friendly staff, and an excellent location! A plus for the sunbath terrace on the 8th floor and especially for the view, an awesome panoramic view of Sliema waterfront! A minus would be for the Wi-Fi, available only at the casual lounge from the 7th floor
While the location is great and the staff try their best, the overall experience was let down by the poor condition of the facilities. Therefore, I can only give this hotel 3 stars
We had sea view room that in my view is a must if you stay there. In summary, if you look for simple, economy hotel in beautiful location with nice people around - that’s the place. Would I come back here?
Definitely
The location cannot be better - sea, bus stop just in front of the hotel, walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. The sea view from the room terrace- top. The rooms are cleaned everyday
To be improved: clearly you can see that the bathrooms require renovation. Another one: if you check out, there is no locker room for luggage storage- you leave them at the reception
Elena - hotel manager was very responsive and super reactive, reception team open, available and always present, cleaning team - really working hard with a smile every day)

The Temptasian restaurant was not quite the atmosphere described - food was good but they seated us at a table right near the kitchen without good ventilation and made it feel like a sauna then a restaurant
If I'm back at Malta, will definitely stay there again. The service overall was very good, friendly staff and helpful too on directions and places to visit around the area
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. We bought the day pass for the pool which was perfect for experiencing the pool and bridging the gap before our flight. Would definitely come back to stay here!
Rooms are clean, large and comfortable, service is fantastic, beautiful hotel. Of the restaurants, the Rooftop Bar was the best for dinner- they were outstanding service, drinks and food
This hotel and its staff, have made this such an incredible experience that we cannot wait to rush back again and again for years to come. Thank you to all the staff for everything, keep up the amazing work!
Housekeeping have been outstanding, bar staff and restaurant staff have been incredible and the concierge/managerial staff have been some of the most welcoming and accommodating people we have ever met

All staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, especially one member of staff who sadly we didn't get his name but he made the best Brain teaser cocktails and he always made time to come over and chat to us
Absolutely wonderful hotel in a great location. just spent 7 fantastic days here. Lovely clean rooms with an amazing sea view. Food excellent, the variety of food was great, suitable for all tastes
The spa closed just after we arrived so unable to comment on the facilities
If you go with children visit the splash park about 15 mins ride away - excellent value for money
So sad that we didn't get to thank him and say goodbye as he really made our stay fun
Beautiful hotel! Kind service! Good place as well ( Beach in front of the hotel, Supermarket just a 5 minute walk and easy connections to other cities per bus! ) Breakfast was also really good!! There is a construction site right now but it was not disturbing
Lovely hotel however unfortunately it is currently under going building works. We had a suite with sea view however also a view of cranes, builders, noise and dust outside windows

Location, location, location. In the heart of Sliema, with seafront view, right next to a bus stop. Also, a good restaurant inside.
I almost forgot to mention the WiFi here is absolutely terrible. It kept dropping and I had to manually reconnect every minute. Sometimes it wouldn’t even connect after re-entering the login info
Also the air conditioning couldn’t go on full blast but it was still able to cool down the room especially with the help of the ceiling fan. Overall, it was a decent experience
At least I had a roof over my head and a place to sleep so this place was alright for me. Thing is though, there are many downsides to this hotel, at least for me
The beds are squeaky and you can hear the pubs all around at night. The window for the bathroom smelled so foul when we opened it that we never opened it again
If you’re looking for a basic hotel for a decent price, this is it. Don’t expect anything close to luxurious. Heck there isn’t even a mini fridge in here

I stayed for 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. The room was very spacious and clean. I had breakfast each morning and was impressed with the amount of food on offer. The fresh fruit and fresh bread were excellent
I appreciated they had soya and almond milk, so I could have a nice coffee each morning too
These little touches showed their genuine commitment to excellent service. The room was spotless, with every amenity thoughtfully arranged
Only one small thing that didn't work well was the kettle in my room, the lid must have been damaged as it wouldn't stay closed, if you boiled it you had to weigh it down with something or it would boil forever, it wasn't a huge issue though, I just used it a few times
One particular moment that stood out was when I mentioned needing help with directions; a staff member not only explained the route clearly but also provided me with a map and offered additional tips to make my journey smoother
This thoughtful gesture truly exceeded our expectations and showed their dedication to guest comfort and satisfaction. It’s rare to find this level of attention to detail, especially at such an inconvenient hour

The hotel was very clean, modern and stylish. Room was very clean and upgraded. Their breakfast options were fairly nice, especially their coffees. The staff was very friendly and helpful
When you need help (such as the phone can't be charged), the front desk will enthusiastically guide you and tell you how to get to the repair point
location is the best everything you need is in a 2km radius(supermarkets, restaurants, bars, beaches
Hotel in a mega convenient location. Service extremely nice and helpful.
Better than expected 👌One person can lie down in the king-size bed room. 🤭The front desk service attitude is good, the room is cleaned every day, and you can come and go at any time 24 hours a day
Excellent service, good location but the fact that there is no mini fridge in the room on a summer night is very bad.

They don’t just provide service — they anticipate your needs and fulfill even the smallest wishes with a smile. The hotel itself is packed with amenities and perfectly caters to a wide range of travelers
The spa was small but perfect for us to take a quick dip before our evening meal. Location is great with the beach and local transport links right outside and a spar shop if needed. 100% would recommend to anyone
My stay at the Marriott Spa & Resort Malta exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely exceptional
The hotel is very nice, the service is good, and the executive lounge is very comfortable.

Quiet ant night and very location a short walk from Spinola Bay/St Julian’s- safe at night

For me was most important the location. Location is Top. Reception 24 hours. Sadly towels were old. Zimmer also was a bit old. But for 1 night was good. I took economy room. I could check in for half hour earlier.

Breakfast - good, can get boring if you stay for longer periods
Location - remote and silent
Staff - Very friendly and helpful
Transportation - Free shuttle available to couple of places
Spa facilities - good, staff was very friendly as well
It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful island. I was particularly impressed by how fresh everything felt; cleanliness was clearly a top priority. Breakfast at the resort was another highlight

Good location to get around the city with lots of restaurants around. Clean room with marina view and not loud at night. Hard to find room near the pool/sea area
The room is clean and with a great view. The breakfast is very good with friendly chefs making any eggs you want. You have to be early to the pool to get a spot if you’re a friend group or a family
Wonderful location at the sea/harbor with pool and own swimming location in front of the hotel. Of course you hear some music and traffic from the coastal road. Rooms and hotel is a little aged but okay
Staff could improve on English, breakfast was repetitive, I would suggest a replacement of the lift as it was very hot and takes about a minute before the doors opened
The air conditioning is central system, that means you don’t get it under 20°c inside your room. The gym is small, but if you are creative, you can get an ok workout

I would describe the hotel as ideally situated to the city centre, just few minutes walking distance from the sea and cafes, restaurants and shops
In terms of the facilities, the hotel can be rated as excellent since they ensure high quality standards are maintained when it comes to service, accommodating the needs of guests and going out of their way to ensure the guest has a pleasant experience
Additionally, while the breakfasts were delicious, the menu remained the same each day, which might not suit those staying for a longer period

We are so happy and don't want to go home 🙃
Clean and tidy, but the bathroom is a little small, only one square meter. There is a new building next door, and the renovations are from 7 am to 8 pm every day, which is a bit noisy
She took her time showing us the difference in the rooms available and we were glad to make an upgrade, our rooms were cleaned every single day without requesting cleaning services to do them
The location is excellent, and the lady at the reception with the “trainee” badge was incredibly kind and very professional. We had a few requests, and she organized everything perfectly!
Location wise, it was perfect, central to happening spots around St Julian, all within walking distances. The free Prosecco for my birthday and cocktail on arrival was an extra touch

A fairly old hotel, although the staff was very friendly.
Good hotel, a little old but very well located, the pool is large and spacious.
The lobby bar closed at 9 so if you went for dinner you were stuck. Pool towels were not available at the pool but you had to traipse back down 6 floors to Reception to get them, then back up 6 floors to the pool
Minor irritations but a general feeling of not being cocooned. A handy location and the room was clean and spacious. I think it is a shame that a touch more attention would raise the experience significantly
The hotel is very old. The air conditioner is portable. There is no swimming pool and fitness center. Since after Covid, it is not as expected.
