Lovely hotel, staff very good and friendly. Service at pool very good one day and very bad another day. Lovely to be able to swim in Med from man made beach. could make it more comfy under foot

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The en-suite had a combined bath and shower and quality toiletries. Breakfast was very good with a wide hot and cold choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

We stayed for 3 nights and had a very good experience. We were upgraded to a superior sea view room on floor 10. Very good size and in excellent order. The decor is very traditional with mahogany furniture

The hotel Is situated a short distance from Valletta in Floriana but due to its location on a hillside requires a significant negotiation of steps and a steep hill climb to the City

The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early

It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large, could fit 3 people

We had room service too, portions were huge and tasted amazing! The spa was the cherry on top! The heated pool, sauna, steam room… all brilliant and a wonderful way to relax after a long day exploring! The Decor is beautiful ! Would most definitely come back again soon! Location is great, Valletta can be reached via ferry (ferry in 5 minute walk distance), St. Julian in 20 minutes via taxi

All staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, especially one member of staff who sadly we didn't get his name but he made the best Brain teaser cocktails and he always made time to come over and chat to us

The spa closed just after we arrived so unable to comment on the facilities If you go with children visit the splash park about 15 mins ride away - excellent value for money

There is a balcony, a common area where you can watch TV and also a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the sun. The kitchen is well equipped to cater your budget travelling

Must explore the whole Dragonara at your own risk of course as it's the Big Sea, you also can just go snorkeling safely around the Maltese Ghemmuna Artillery battery, which became the Scicluna Family Palace after the Banking Reset of 1873 Greta Staff starting with Upama at the Green exotic stone desk, then was guided to my cozy room by Duty Manager Sandra who explained the hotel history and facilities...

Cheap price rooms. Hotel a little rusty but clean. Very close to the beach. And nice restaurants and bars really close.

it is a cheap place and at a great location .rooms are big and spacious lift is a bit scary but other than that it is a great place close to the heart of paceville and right across the road from the beach. love it!

The bar next door played music till 4 am but it didn't bother me, but bring ear plugs if it bothers you. Right on the sea front, such a perfect location!

You can walk to the hub of St Julians for many other restaurants and bars. There is a bus stop outside the hotel for ease of access to Valletta etc. I would highly recommend the Marina

We booked a trip with 4 friends, but the room is a bit small and old, not like a 5-star hotel, should be 3 stars. My pillow has blood stains, I told the cleaning staff, but they didn't change the pillowcases for me

Observant was she that she noticed a guest having just a salad and some fruits she went over and offered a salmon plate with some avocado as an alternate. It was surprising but much appreciated by the guest

Management one on one! Barely see managers do that and here you have the hostess making sure her guests are pride of place. This was the highlight of the breakfast for me

The hotel is very up to par with everything that was advertised for the hotel: there is a Spa, 2 pools outside, 2 inside, its own beach + 2 pools on the beach, a casino and a gym

Now called the Beach House,we had the corner room with a wraparound balcony that looked out over the sea, Rose and Nathan are very nice helpful people, the building has been going through some refurbishment and in 2024 on the top terrace a bar will open and the restaurant on street level will also reopen, there's a very nice mid level terrace with an excellent coffee/tea machine in the corridor

Very reliable air conditioner, direct access to a clean and nice beach, clean room, fridge and great view over city and sea from balcony, frequent bus connection to Valleta from which you can travel to anywhere in malta

I stayed with Rose for six weeks. She is an amazing host - very kind and considerate. The studio room had amazing beach views, big kitchen/lounge/dining area for the size of the apartment

The area has a play park for young children and a skateboard/scooter area for the older ones, also a large trampoline and a sand football pitch,a very nice shallow beach

Enough restaurants and bars, i recommend Bordas restaurant/cafe/bar, -Cox's sports bar and The Nineteen Ninety bar ( up next to the church ) and if you like battered fish and chips you've got to try Frank's fish shop

However The Waters Edge have managed to provide accomodation for the last five nights of my holiday which makes it better. The total cost is still within my original budget. The Waters Edge is a three star rated hotel

I have been told the hotel increased prices but I didn't notice any major increase this time. It is very dependent upon which travel company one books through. I'm planning to come back summer and Christmas 2023

It is closer to the airport and overall works out cheaper than the get them in with cheap rates but then rob them blind hotels in the tourist area. Once again thanks to the staff at the Waters Edge
