Hotels with beach in Valetta

The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early

It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large, could fit 3 people

Great location, lots of restaurants and shopping malls. Staff are all very nice, bar and restaurant of the hotel is very good. Breakfast is simple but have enough choices with good quality

We had room service too, portions were huge and tasted amazing! The spa was the cherry on top! The heated pool, sauna, steam room… all brilliant and a wonderful way to relax after a long day exploring! The Decor is beautiful ! Would most definitely come back again soon! Location is great, Valletta can be reached via ferry (ferry in 5 minute walk distance), St. Julian in 20 minutes via taxi

However, service remains good and the breakfast offers a good choice. There is a small private beach which allows bathing in the sea with fish swimming around you, which was very pleasant

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The en-suite had a combined bath and shower and quality toiletries. Breakfast was very good with a wide hot and cold choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

The balcony was directly facing the small harbour where coincidentally some yachts were preparing for the Rolex Middle Sea race (please see photos). Many of the crews were also, not surprisingly, staying at the hotel

This hotel is truly extraordinary, deserving of a 5-star rating. From the impeccable door service to the breathtaking entrance with a stunning chandelier and winding stairs, the experience was like entering paradise

Excellent hotel and superb location for visiting Valletta (10 minutes walk to the City Gate and the bus station). We booked for 5 nights and at check-in were given a complementary upgrade to a sea view room

What a room! I was hoping for a high floor. Reception was level 6 and we were given a bedroom on level 2. The porter asked which room we were in and when told said it was a very nice room

Hard to fault in the price bracket, good size room. Staff extremely helpful surrounded by good eateries and close to the Valletta ferry terminal.

The location is perfect, close to the bus stop and the ferries, the staff was very nice. We took a room without a sea view, but with breakfast; however we still had a small nice sea view from our room

The terraces where the jacuzzi is has an amazing view. Maybe the hotel is a bit old if you look at the details, but everything was good enough

The hotel itself is dated and tired looking and the finish isn't to a high standard. If you are claustrophobic i would take the stairs as the hotel has the smallest lift i have ever seen

The location is good, plenty of nightlife locally and especially ideal if you are interested in the boat trips as many of them leave right outside the hotel

Very reliable air conditioner, direct access to a clean and nice beach, clean room, fridge and great view over city and sea from balcony, frequent bus connection to Valleta from which you can travel to anywhere in malta

I stayed with Rose for six weeks. She is an amazing host - very kind and considerate. The studio room had amazing beach views, big kitchen/lounge/dining area for the size of the apartment

Excellent and fresh fish … Very friendly and kind owner… The staff was friendly and the food was great… Everything was cooked to perfection… Highly recommended… Very good local dishes

All appliances worked and in good order. I had to isolate for 10 days, and Rose was very helpful in getting me supplies and checking in to make sure I was ok! Would stay again

Very nice if a little older hotel. Room we had was very spacious with two double beds and bath and shower. It was a "wellness room" and had a infra red sitting in box in the corner

Great hotel! The bad reviews of this hotel is mainly based on the cheap 4-star sister hotel. At the 5-star hotel, we stayed in the luxurious spa bedrooms with private pool. ❤️

Sleima and itis next to sea front

Nice hotel, superb view at Valetta acros the boulevard and harbour from seaside rooms. Lobby quite small and a bit outdated. Shopping mall 'The Point' around the corner with supermarket at the -1 level

Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.

Breakfast buffet was ok but large restaurant quite noisy

However The Waters Edge have managed to provide accomodation for the last five nights of my holiday which makes it better. The total cost is still within my original budget. The Waters Edge is a three star rated hotel

My travel company online booking system booked me into a hotel in the tourist area of Malta without me realising and there's a no refund on cancellation so I was stuck with it

The hotel the travel agency booked is a four star. The Waters Edge has been my second home in Malta for some five years

I have never faulted them and after the current fiasco with a hotel in the tourist area I will always use the Waters Edge. It is a basic but well managed hotel in the south

Please note, I am a visitor not a tourist. This is not a prime tourist area but a very friendly seaside town in the south

Christmas holiday here was as usual a delight. Weather was great and the service and staff excellent as usual
