The Gomerino Hotel

Extremely convenient location (but no car park - you can park at one of the free car parks about 10 mins walk). Beautiful room and charming staff. The spa and massage sessions were solid. The rooftop bar was nice and inexpensive.

One criticism: The breakfast was a little average and the coffee was absolutely appalling. That said, the manager was really lovely and was certainly a star of the restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gomerino Hotel in Malta, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience! The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, situated right in the heart of Malta's Storico vibrant atmosphere, making it easy to explore nearby attractions.

The staff at Gomerino Hotel truly made my stay memorable. Their courtesy and genuine intent to ensure that I enjoyed my time in Malta was evident from the moment we arrived.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was delicious and offered a great variety, ensuring a perfect start to each day. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the superb rooftop view of the harbor. The panoramic sights are breathtaking and, in my opinion, make the stay absolutely worth it.

Overall, I highly recommend the Gomerino Hotel for anyone looking to experience the best of Malta.

Great location, very convenient for Valletta and the ferry to 3 cities. Lovely roof terrace with pool, bar service and view of the Grand harbor. Breakfast was terrific, a mix of local dishes and brunch classics. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well-located with bars and restaurants nearby. The room was nice with AC. Minus points for the unfriendly welcome that we got at the start, the many times encountering staff in the elevator and entrance hall without getting a smile or “hello” and the ants in our hotel room bathroom. For the price, you expect a bit more. The pool is nice in the morning but gets increasingly hot and oily in the afternoon and evening.

This hotel was wonderful in every way - the staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. It’s a quiet, peaceful, clean haven away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. From the rooftop pool to the buffet breakfast, everything was exquisite!

We had such a wonderful first trip to Malta, also thanks to having a comfortable hotel to stay in. The hotel was super clean, with a classic old world feel but totally updated to be comfortable. The rooms were cozy and perfectly air-conditioned, which was a necessity since it was 35+ degrees outside!

The rooftop bar was my favorite part of the hotel since it had stunning views of the harbor and a pool to cool off in. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Madlene and Roniel, the Filipino servers, who were so kind and attentive to our needs

Breakfast: aside from the usual buffet, there’s also a menu where you can order one of the meals and they cook it for you on the spot.

The location was perfect especially for first time tourists, right in the heart of Valletta. It was easy to get around by car (bolts are efficient and not expensive). Plus even though if we were close to all the restaurants, the harbor, and shops, it was still quiet and peaceful in the hotel itself.

The rooms were a bit smaller than we thought though we kept running into furniture haha, but was still cozy and comfy stuff. We’d stay here again. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A wonderful place for a beautiful getaway in our lovely capital city Valletta. As a local I was truly impressed by the insanely high quality of service Gomerino offers and will visit again for sure.

Very clean rooms, sweetest staff, breakfast was to die for with a taste of Maltese cuisine too.

The rooftop pool is the highlight of it all. It's cosy with one of the most beautiful views in Malta.

What a lovely boutique hotel. The staff were ever so helpful and supportive. The breakfasts were really enjoyable and included local Maltese dishes. The roof top bar and pool were a delight.
If going to Valletta it is a perfect location to stay as it is in the middle of the city and close to everything.
