The hotel is situated within 7 acres of picturesque coast of Belle Mare in the Eastern part of the island, the long stretch of beach with a perfect entry into the water. The hotel offers travelers tranquility and embodies a natural elegance. Cozy cottages, topped with thatched roofs, located along the beach on either side of the main part of the hotel. The Central position of the hotel is its pride - a huge swimming pool which cascades to the ocean. The hotel displays the tradition and style of life of the peoples of Mauritius. In the decoration of rooms, clothing of personnel and the variety of dishes in the restaurants you will find a harmonious combination of elements of Indian, African, Chinese and European cultures. While the hotel offered free snorkeling, glass-bottom boat trips, and canoeing, they could not book activities outside the hotel, such as the nearby underwater walk.
Breakfast has a wide variety. Room design is stylish and hippy. Not bad.
The staff were exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make our stay special. They even surprised us with honeymoon amenities that added a personal touch to our visit. The dining options were diverse and delicious, offering a range of cuisines to suit all tastes.
We took advantage of some of the activities offered at the resort, including snorkeling and a couples' spa treatment, which were both fantastic. The overall atmosphere was romantic and serene, making it the perfect setting for a honeymoon.
LUX Belle Mare exceeded our expectations in every way, and we left with wonderful memories that we'll cherish forever. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and romantic getaway.
