Tree Lodge Mauritius in Belle Mare

Yannick and Ben made us very welcome and were extremely friendly and helpful with any information we needed, and very open to our use of other facilities when needed, eg their fridge for a few small items. They also provided much appreciated support with a car insurance hassle we had after a minor accident. We stayed in one of the bedrooms which form part of the house rather than the amazing Tree House - the room was comfortable, everything worked, was clean and the shower/wash facilities were good. The house is set in an attractive and peaceful garden which could be enjoyed from the terrace outside our room. Our only slight surprise was that we had somehow gained the impression from the photos that the whole place would be a bit larger with more private space - in reality as a guest you are intermingled with other guests and the family, which was all fine, just not what we had expected! Although perfectly adequate, the breakfast was also not quite up to the feast illustrated in the photos and described in some other reviews! Many thanks to Yannick and Ben.

Tree Lodge provides a special experience - it is located in a very nice garden with a lot of flowers next to a swimming pool. Owners have been very kind and immediately responded to every wish we had. Breakfast was really delicious - fresh fruit, fruit juice, eggs or omelets, toast with butter and jam, etc. Really high quality. Lodge is located close to Belle mare, one of the nicest beaches in Mauritius. Ben (owner) is also an instructor in a Dive center on Belle mare and it was a great experience to go with him for diving.

Very nice and comfortable tree house. The couple running the place and personal are very friendly. Yannik gave suggestions on how to easily drive through the island. Due to a fly delay, I arrived in the dark with heavy rain, making it more difficult to find the place, but Yannik was helping me.

Perfect nature blended stay at tree house! Sweet and very kind host. Made us feel home when away. Pleasing view of garden and ocean from TH. Nice breakfast and recommended for ones who seek for pure nature and away from tech life!

We stayed in this treehouse for 2 nights and it was great. The hosts are a really lovely and accommodating couple, Yannick and Ben. They couldn’t do enough for us. The massive bonus was that when we first met Ben, he was wearing a diving company t.shirt and the more we chatted to him the more we realised the diving we had on our agenda was going to be with him (and his own company) We spent the days on the beautiful Belle Mare beach a couple of km away and at 3pm, we’d return to the treehouse and catch the last few hours of sun by lounging around their pool, a lovely and inviting pool at that. The washing facilities were lovely clean and tidy and you have a luggage stand in the same room so it’s nice and secure. Plenty of choices for breakfast. We enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to further recommend it to others.

Beautiful, quite place with amazing atmosphere. Not easy to find and not many people from the nearby towns know about it. I spent 3 night in the treehouse and it was great experience. A bit scary during rainy and windy nights with noisy bats and birds. Clean and spacious private bathroom is on the ground. Tasty breakfast with best coffee. I highly recommend that place, good for solo travelers. You need car bcoz it’s few kilometers from the beach and from the town. I had great time in the treehouse 🌴🌴🌴

Some years ago we discovered paradise staying at Tree Lodge and experiencing Mauritius at its best! Since then we come back as often as possible to enjoy the days with scuba diving and the nights at the sensational Tree House. From here you have excellent access to the most beautiful beach at Belle Mare and the fascinating market in Flacq. Each year we're just waiting to come back because it's like coming home!

Amazing stay in this place, rooms were clean, and nicely arrange. We had very welcoming hosts, providing help to organise our journey, helping us to book trips and dives. We really recomended this place

We just had an amazing stay at three lodge! Yannick and her husband will do everything to welcome you and ensure you have a relax and very pleasant time there. The “cabane in the three” was just perfect for us. Comfortable bed and you get awake every morning by the birds in the tree and around there. Super breakfast, please don’t miss it! We will definitely come back on our next trip to Mauritius.
