We went for our teambuilding on an all inclusive day package! The organization of everything was first class. The sports and leisure team is awesome. We had a great time with all the games that they prepared! The food was awesome! The service impeccable. I give a 11 out of 10 to Solana beach hotel services!

We spent a few days here for our honeymoon and had mixed feelings.
We had so much fun playing games with Milena & Chris. The Diwali festivities were a great touch. The view is simply beautiful and we enjoyed the room and the gym. And they have a great coffee machine for cappuccinos as of 10AM. Also food was fairly decent for an all inclusive buffet style !
However, there were some downsides :
- the staff is veryy pushy to sell you extra services and unfortunately although this is portrayed as an all inclusive, most things are an extra fee. This was very disappointing. Even for our honeymoon, they offered a special dinner in a special location but the only free option was « taken » so we had to pay an extra fee for something that was meant to be complimentary. We still enjoyed it though!
- we constantly had to sign off bills even if we didn’t order anything nor had to pay an extra fee. We really think this resort would benefit from using a bracelet method to identify who is on an all inclusive plan and who is not.
- the cocktails available for the all inclusive package were impossible to drink. It tasted very chemical and superficial. It really felt like they purposely did so that you would feel the urge to spend money on drinks that aren’t part of the package
- what seemed to be a hot tub was really just a tiny colder pool and the pool is quite underwhelming
Something to keep in mind : bring water shoes or else you’ll have a hard time enjoying the shore! It’s not a sandy beach
Overall, we managed to enjoy our stay but nothing stood out enough for us to come back

Our stay at Solana beach was exceptional! The staff was friendly, and the room was beyond comfortable. Thanking Veer, Yogishta, Rishta, and all the staffs for the great hospitality.
What sets the hot apart is that it offers its guests the best gourmet dining experience—a big thumbs up for this.

The views and location of this resort was incredible. The rooms looked nice, but the bed was uncomfortable, and our shower door didn't close, so then entire bathroom got wet anytime we showered.
The amenities were a little lack-luster, and the food was super mediocre. The buffet dinners were not good, but the reservable restaurants were much better.
The staff was so lovely, and super helpful.
Overall, my husband and I had a great time here on our honeymoon, but I would explore other options before booking here again.

Very welcoming and we had a wonderful time during the activities , we were well guided and coached by Kris and his members.
Food and drinks were well served and very delicious.
No rush to be observed .
The environment was very relaxing. Personnel's were very kind and welcoming

Perfect resort for a relaxing vacation , with amazing views and a beautiful beach . The rooms are just 10 metres away from the beach , which makes it more special. Food wise if you're a pure vegetarian, not a lot of options and might have to stick to eating the same thing on most of the days!!
Service was really good , with very friendly staff who are always there to help and make the stay more comfortable and perfect!!

The food and service was amazing. The check was done properly where every single details are given. I would like to thanks MR Veer and his teams specially Rakhes,Melanie for the service. Thanks to the housekeeping team for the special deco and cleanliness of the room.

Look overall I really enjoyed my stay here. We went with a half board package, and I’m glad I did! Food can be a bit bland, overall we ate at the restaurant 3/7 nights. The beach has a lot of dead coral and sea urchins, be careful and make sure to buy water shoes. The entertainment is good in the evenings.
Our room had a ton of ants and they would make their way into anything that they could so be wary. The shower also leaks a lot. The overall grounds are beautiful and well maintained.
The staff are also very friendly and responsive.
One thing I didn’t particularly like, is that there is a lot of “upselling” going on. Sometimes feels a bit forced. We didn’t have the full board option, but even when examining the menu, there’s a lot of stuff you don’t get with full board and end up having to pay extra.
The experience is on par with the pricing, and for that I think it’s a good place to stay.

Absolutely perfect customer service! Food was great and staff are so polite and really go the extra mile. They even got me a cake as it was my birthday!
The hotel is kids-free as well, so it’s very relaxed and quiet.
The pool is great and the beach is amazing. The view from the room overlooking the beach is incredible as well
