Excellent break fast
Forgot the names of the receptionist at checking in she was amazing on 26/7/25 at 17:35 she was tall
We had so much fun playing games with Milena & Chris. The Diwali festivities were a great touch. The view is simply beautiful and we enjoyed the room and the gym. And they have a great coffee machine for cappuccinos as of 10AM. Also food was fairly decent for an all inclusive buffet style !
However, there were some downsides :
- the staff is veryy pushy to sell you extra services and unfortunately although this is portrayed as an all inclusive, most things are an extra fee. This was very disappointing. Even for our honeymoon, they offered a special dinner in a special location but the only free option was « taken » so we had to pay an extra fee for something that was meant to be complimentary. We still enjoyed it though!
- we constantly had to sign off bills even if we didn’t order anything nor had to pay an extra fee. We really think this resort would benefit from using a bracelet method to identify who is on an all inclusive plan and who is not.
- the cocktails available for the all inclusive package were impossible to drink. It tasted very chemical and superficial. It really felt like they purposely did so that you would feel the urge to spend money on drinks that aren’t part of the package
- what seemed to be a hot tub was really just a tiny colder pool and the pool is quite underwhelming
Something to keep in mind : bring water shoes or else you’ll have a hard time enjoying the shore! It’s not a sandy beach
Overall, we managed to enjoy our stay but nothing stood out enough for us to come back
What sets the hot apart is that it offers its guests the best gourmet dining experience—a big thumbs up for this.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the outstanding service we received during our stay. While it is difficult to single anyone out, We want to specifically mention Ishika for the lovely notes and flowers she left on our bed after room service every day.
Additionally we would like to thank Shane, Layton, Danish, and Kewin for their excellent bar service. Every staff member at Solana is friendly and helpful, which made our experience truly enjoyable.

The amenities were a little lack-luster, and the food was super mediocre. The buffet dinners were not good, but the reservable restaurants were much better.
The staff was so lovely, and super helpful.
Overall, my husband and I had a great time here on our honeymoon, but I would explore other options before booking here again.
