Beautiful budget hotel. A great combination of price and quality of service of tourists, many regular tourists who come to this hotel for a holiday in Mauritius from year to year.

I was here from 28 June to 17 July 2025 (room 114) and had the most wonderful time. Good service, good food, friendly staff, nice room, great entertainment during day and night, relaxing treatments at the Spa - everything was just outstanding. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, but the absolute star of the resort is Chef Sunil, he is friendly, humble, caring and very passionate... He is an absolute asset to Casuarina. Also to mention Mr. Steve at the Restaurant, always friendly and kind. I would love to visit again. It was my first visit to Casuarina, but my 12th visit to beautiful Mauritius... Everything was perfect at Casuarina Hotel! The staff was welcoming, the place was beautiful and well maintained, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. A special shoutout to the amazing entertainers Sabrina and Aaron – they brought so much energy and joy to the evening shows! Friendly, professional, and full of good vibes. Thank you for the wonderful memories – I’ll definitely be back! Ps. Its the third time I come here and there will definitely be a fourth, fifth and so on.

I went today for a spa retreat and it was appreciable. Rajinee was great. Elle fait l'un des meilleurs massages que j'ai eu la chance d'expérimenter. She is caring and nuturing, providing kind advices and great service. Highly recommended. ♡

Firstly the staff, I cannot thank them enough for the way they looked after us. Sunil the chef, what a find, beautiful smile and nothing too much trouble. Looked after me throughout the holiday due to food intolerance, treated like a queen. The bar staff, waiters and waitresses too numerous to mention, cleaners, cooks, everyone you met always smiling and doing everything possible to make your stay as wonderful as possible. Fantastic range of food choices, there being a lot of different meats and fish, plus the hubby had never ever tried ome of the foods before but loved every bit of them ranging from octopus, to guinea fowl, to marlin and so much more. The island is so beautiful too so cannot forget to mention that here. The only down side is they seem to lean more towards the French speaking visitors on the entertainment evenings, even though there were a few English whilst we were there, we seemed to be forgotten. This does need to be sorted as it did make it a downer for a few folks. Rooms a little tired, need a bit of tlc but they were clean and showers brilliant. Thank you Casaurina

Changed to this hotel a couple of weeks before we flew out, it was a good decision. Check in was smooth and we had welcome drinks. Our room was lovely we had a perfect view of the duck ponds and also the sea. For the star rating I was very happy with everything. We had water and soft drinks everyday in our room. Breakfast was a good mix of the usual AI food, the freshly cooked omelettes were my favourite. I never had lunch and at dinner they had a large choice of dishes. Dino was very helpful and funny. The cocktails were perfectly acceptable for me and my sister and Rohan was lovely. There was entertainment every night and Nova tried very hard to get everyone to join in. We went on the glass bottom boat trip that was free for hotel guests. We spent most of our time at the beach between excursions and the snorkelling was pretty good directly in front of the hotel sun lounges. In short I would stay here again if I was to return to Mauritius.

The hotel and staff are nice. The beach is small, but beautiful and cozy, across the road, it is better to swim in special slippers. The food is quite varied and tasty. The room is spacious (bungalow with a double and an extra bed)
There are some small flaws that can be fixed:
1) Make a toilet and a bar on the beach. Now they are not there, it is inconvenient.
2) the audibility in the neighboring rooms is very strong, add soundproofing
3) the room needs repair (painting the walls), outdoor furniture needs to be replaced
4) there was a renovation in the neighboring bungalows (we had A2), it is uncomfortable to be in the room at this time
5) you need to add a shelf in the shower, for accessories. And also add shampoo and conditioner. Now there is one jar on the wall, unmarked, I assume that shower gel or soap.
6) you need to add liquid soap by the sink. Now there is a small solid soap without a soap dish, it is inconvenient.

We like the food,the entertainment,activities. We had appreciated some staffs work such as Maunick cleaning, Chef sunil cuisine and at the bar there are Anmol and Rohan who had always provided good service. At the restaurant, we have the 2 brothers sohail and salman who are doing a great job. We like our small vacation here. Hats off to the team.

Very disappointed in our stay and this will also be the reason I never visit Mauritius again.

From the moment we got there the staff only speak French. We didn't receive welcoming drinks, chats or so on.

We where traveling with 3 children under 2 years of age and we arrived at the hotel at 17:00. We waited for approximately 45min for our rooms. We were not told where to eat or anything even though we had the all inclusive package.

The entertainment only cater for the french people. This hotel should rather say French people only!

The only friendly and helpful staff was at the bar and the restaurant.
