I recently stayed at the beautiful Long Beach Hotel in Belle Mare, Mauritius, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The hotel's location right by the beach provided stunning views and a serene atmosphere.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and spa, were top-notch and added to the overall relaxation of the stay. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a wide variety of options to choose from.
What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service; the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met promptly and with a smile. we are here now, this is not a 5 star hotel.
Theme nights in the Le Marche don’t offer any alternative food.
Chopsticks and Tides were lovely but limited choice.
Shouldn’t have to ask for bread to be replenished at breakfast and no cheese / crackers at dinner, although these are available at breakfast strangely.
we did speak to the manager and he thanked us for our feedback. the little things matter on holiday and to fully enjoy our stay, we don’t expect to have to complain about anything.
Would we return? no
This hotel does not reflect the amazing time we had when we were in Mauritius 7 years ago, staying at a different hotel. This hotel did not live up to expectations sadly.
so with 4 days left of our holiday we will make the best of it, enjoy the sunshine and relax.

Amazingly good for kids with centre and full program. Swimming pool was always dirty on floor and very strict lifeguard despite not actually doing their job. Too busy chatting with women. Good value but not 5*, too much maintenance and buggies driving around at full speed.

Everything literally was amazing and their caring is fabulous, it starts from the manager to the entire staff.
My kids got sick, one of them throw up when we were in our dinner and they gave us a huge care of them. They kept asking about them every single time they saw us and even in the same night they told us when you go back to the room call room service and order what ever you want for your kids without charging us for it
I totally appreciate your kindness and great hospitality. I will recommend the hotel for anyone ask me.

Went there last week and had a great time . Stayed in the Junior suite beachfront with our 2 kids on a full board plus. However had 2 double bed in one room which was not very convenient also with an open bathroom. Had lunch and dinner in the different restaurant. Service was excellent and location was nice however can get a bit windy a some time

I just wanted to thank you - thank you all at Long Beach for giving my wife and I the most memorable and magical 2 weeks with you!
We recently returned home after getting married at Long beach.
I’d like to thank your fabulous events team headed by Morna. There was nothing to much for the team and they handled everything superbly leaving my wife and I enjoy to enjoy our day completely safe in the knowledge that Morna and her team had us ‘in very safe hands’!
Beyond this, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the food is first class and the staff (from arrival, to departure. From cleaning staff to management) were amazing.
The restaurants served a brilliant selection of Mauritian and International cuisine. The wine was excellent and the choices were vast.
There is literally nothing I can suggest improvement with - we have enjoyed a magical time with the Long Beach experience and will definitely be back again.

Our family of ten stayed at this resort for 7nights. We did have problem on day 2 but it was resolved. The staff at the resort are excellent. There was a guy who was very accommodating in anything we needed in the restaurant area. His name was Kavi. The restaurant chef Prakash was very attentive towards our family and needs. The bar staff were really friendly and engaging towards the guests. The buggy guys were also very friendly and always accommodating at all times.
Two of the rooms were of a good standard and were kept immaculately clean by our room maid Asha who was so lovely. One of the rooms was rather outdated and had problems with the shower and the water.
The resort is in an excellent location and there were plenty of sun beds on the beach area and pool area.
All in all we had a great time despite having few showers and windy weather but it didn’t deter the smaller children having fun every day.
I would recommend this resort without hesitation as a great time was had by us all.
The only thing I would say is if anyone has a food allergy let the hotel know in advance and as soon as you get there and every meal times.

We had dinner with friends that's staying at the hotel. The service was impeccable from the security at gate to the rest of the staff. The friendly, staff , awesome service. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the live entertainment. Will definitely go back.

Very nice and friendly personnel. In Europe, I forgot that people can be polite and smile. Very nice restaurant waiters, the cleaning lady. I lived in a room 247, we have the balcony, very nice green area. Very quiet. I would say hotel has five star prices, but the interior can be renewed. The beach can be cleaned from seaweed as well. As solo Traveler, I was surrounded by kids all the time, would prefer if there are more adult places only or the hotel is advertised as family hotel.

Our second time staying at Long Beach, this time with our 6 month old baby. Could not be any happier with the level of service provided by everyone at the resort and the facilities available to us.
Want to especially thank Kumar in the shores bar, Raj at Chopsticks. Christian the resort manager also went out of his way to make our stay so special with our baby.
I would recommend to anyone hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!
