Coral Azur Beach Resort Mont Choisy

Fantastic location, friendly, super-helpful staff, beautiful rooms, beautiful grounds and stunning views. Tasty buffet with a lot of choice. There is loud music playing all day and all evening in the main bar/ restaurant/ pool area - this can constantly be heard from inside rooms with the patio door shut. Additionally, our room was 20m from the outdoor wedding venue. There was either a very loud disco or a live band or a brass band playing extremely loud on several days, so we couldn’t relax, or even chat, in our own room or on our balcony. Toilet doors in rooms are glass hinged screens which provide little privacy, as they don’t reach the floor or ceiling.

We stayed for three days, started our acquaintance with Mauritius from this hotel. Good unobtrusive service, daily cleaning, good view from the room (in the description a view of the garden, but in fact a view of the ocean), cozy territory, there is Wi-Fi and a swimming pool, good breakfasts. If you like hotel rest, then I safely recommend it. If you plan to visit many places, then it is more convenient to rent a car - the hotel is located far from other beaches of the island, there is a free and large parking lot.

Staff were incredible at the property. Would recommend hiring a car for this area.

The swimming pool is very nice, and the beaches are a few minutes from the hotel. Bravo for the daytime entertainment and the very friendly evenings. The staff is always attentive. A big thank you to the team.

The scenery of the hotel is good, and the sunrise and sunset photos are good. However, there are some reefs on the main beach, and there are often groupers in them, which is not suitable for swimming. But you can play in the water
The hotel is located near the bus station. There are many buses that can go to the areas along the Great Bay. The fare is only 30 rupees, which is equivalent to 4.5 RMB. Very convenient.
The open beach near the hotel is better and you can go paragliding.
The hotel staff were quite enthusiastic, but when settling the exchange rate, they were too clever and gave me 43 for 1 U.S. dollar. The normal rate at the airport was 46. To be honest, I didn’t have much money, but I just felt uncomfortable.
Regarding lunch, it costs 30 US dollars, but it is relatively simple and has not many tricks. Breakfast is basically the same every day.
There are local weddings held every day in the hotel, which is very festive and shows that the hotel's consumption is reasonable.
It is a very cost-effective seaside hotel in the Grand Bay area of ​​Mauritius and is worth staying for many days.

A three star hotel in Mauritius. The rooms were pretty decent. They were old and had gaps in it. Sometimes pests can come in. The food however is fantastic. They have a different cuisine each day of the week. The buffet type food is ecstatic. One negative aspect was that drinking water is not free and bottled water is five times the cost of water outside in local shops. So please buy water from supermarkets and go prepared. The pool table also is 100 Mauritian rupee. This was another negative aspect. In a resort they should give these amenities along with the room booking free of cost. But loved the resort for the food!
Had deer, mussels, oysters, sea urchins, beef, pork, lamb, crab, shrimp, prawn, fishes, chickens, etc over the stay and they were all amazing.

Awesome view. Staff was very helpful and polite. Just 1 complaint there was a lizard in our room. Otherwise nice stay option. They had a musical night at dinner time which was so nice.
