This hotel is worth the price. The room and bathroom are clean, and the hotel corridors are also well-maintained. However, the room is not soundproof and is a bit cramped for two people. There’s no space to lay out a suitcase except on the bed. The room is equipped with air conditioning, a TV, an electric kettle, and a fan. Refreshments like tea and coffee are provided in the room. Yesterday, I needed a hairdryer and was able to borrow one from the front desk without a deposit. Irons are available in the hotel corridors and can be used freely. The hotel’s location is very strategic; you can walk straight to the waterfront. The downsides are that there’s no parking area, so you can only stop by the roadside to drop off, and the staff isn’t very friendly. Yesterday, I accidentally locked my key inside the room, so I couldn’t open the door. I asked the front desk for help, and they said a staff member would assist me in unlocking the door. They asked me to wait in front of the room. I went up and waited in front of my room for more than 30 minutes, but no staff came to help. I had to go back down and report it again before they finally opened the door.
One more thing to mention is the deposit. You have to pay a deposit of RM 50 per room. I rented 7 rooms, so I paid RM 350. However, during checkout, they only refunded RM 100, claiming that I had to pay a tourist tax. But my booking on Agoda already included the tourist tax. After a bit of debate, they eventually agreed to refund the full RM 350.
One more thing to mention is the deposit. You have to pay a deposit of RM 50 per room. I rented 7 rooms, so I paid RM 350. Disappointing. Stayed 4 nights. 1st 2 nights spent enduring in a room with an aircond that probably hasn't been serviced and a TV that is not receiving any signals. Changed to a new room - the shower wets the entire bathroom even with glass door closed. Uncomfortable pillows and stained new bed sheets and linen. Rusty sanitary and mildew on bathroom vanity top. No phones, no fridge, no desk and no hot coffee or tea making facilities. But they give you a safe! Noises from next room can be heard. Lots of noise from children playing along corridor. Overall dark gloomy colors on walls. Why a ceiling fan in an aircond room? Not enough power points. No bedside table. 2 cards - one for access and other to on the power supply - why need 2? No F&B. Entrance elevated and steep road makes coming out of cars challenging. Not up to 3 star or 4 star standard. Needs to improve ambience, better and more friendly service and provide basic needs in the room. Only saving grace is the proximity to the waterfront. Will not stay here again.

Staff and check-in process are okay, BUT...
The toilet and bathroom are the smelliest and dirtiest I have ever seen. I guess the smell is from the septic tank.
The sink is blocked. And there is some leakage under the sink. It makes the floor mat always wet. And whenever I stand on the wet floor mat, my foot got itch.
And guess what, I found worms 😓 (can see video that I shared). After i showered, I realised there's few worms that came out from the bathroom floor crack.
The room is okay. Bed is okay. TV is also functioning well. And they provide AC as well as a fan. If you need a hairdryer, you can request at the lobby. Iron is provided in the hallway.
The location of the hotel is superb. You can walk around easily. There's a lot of food near the hotel. And there are many convenience stores nearby.
The other disadvantage here is the parking space. But if you don't bring a car, then it's okay. Can easily find some Grab here.

For that price, the hotel is strategically located near to shops, eateries, 24/7 convenience stores and night life. It is opposite Hilton Hotel and can see Sarawak River with a short walk to Waterfront.
The check in is at 2pm but at times they could allow check in at 1pm if the room is ready. Check out at 11am but they allow until 12pm and additional payment for every 1 hour extension.
Only setback is 1 lift serving 3 floors but the wait is fast, no mini fridge, no coffee, no safe locker, the shower floor cannot discharge water fast enough and towels are not white and do not have fragrant smell. Concierge is self service and the sliding door is hard to open and close.

Location wise this hotel is in a great location, nearby shopping and eating placed and next to the waterfront. The room however had issues. The Shower stall flooded each time anyone took a shower. There was no room service to clean the room each day of our stay and hence no change of towels. There was a water leak not sure from where that constantly kept the floor mat wet. No water boiler and no coffee and tea supplies. It cost us RM559 for a 4 night stay. Not very cheap, not very expensive either but the stay was just so so. The air conditioner and wall fab worked just fine, given that it is hot in Kuching right now. Oh yes they issued only one key card for access to the room, and noted that if they issued another key card the present one would be deleted from having access to the room. The electrical card did not work either, since the electricity was on regardless of whether the electrical "card" was in the slot in not. Overall, it was a disappointing stay at Tune Hotel. I would not recommend anyone to stay there unless you had no choice.

Friendly staffs, comfortable bed, a walking distance to all sorts of cinema, MCD, KFC, museums & shopping complexes, no cupboard or closet to keep the clothes, only some hangers. Bathroom is awesome!

The location here is perfect but the condition and service of the Tune hotel are terrible and unacceptable. First of all, the environment, towels, and bed smell moldy, and you might find a few bugs in your bed. Besides that, the hotel doesn't even provide a toothbrush, hairdryer, or comb.
We stay here for a week and when we ask for a makeup room on our third day at 7 am, their housekeepers just haven't started cleaning at 4 pm, they even can't promise when will they finish our cleaning. The reason of haven't started tidying up is due to the housekeeper is still cleaning the room for those customers who are coming to check in tonight.
In the nutshell, it is better to pay extra money for a better-budget hotel nearby.

Tune hotel is pretty much run down. The towels aren't as clean as expected and had an unpleasant smell to it. The mattress has outlived its lifespan and should also be replaced. My bed was badly made up and the bed sheet used was too small, thus causing it to easily be displaced. The sink was clogged up and it took a while for the water to clear from the bowl. Pretty much a disappointment as prior to this, Tune hotel's bed was its main selling point. There wasn't mugs / cups although an electric kettle was provided. To top it off, the room gave off a mouldy scent. I'd had better rooms and amenities for the price that I'd paid.

Overall value for money. The room I stayed in was cozy but need to improve on cleanliness. Location is super strategic for those who want to enjoy kuching waterfront without having to pay expensive price on accomodation.

A bit small room with no chair and table. The room was clean but the toilet was bad. Leaked bad smells and water on the floor.
Have to bring all the remotes (AC and TV)bby our own self during check in and out which is bothering and not practical. However, the location was just perfect close to The Kuching Waterfront.
