To be honest, I am very shocked to find out this hotel is currently under upgrading. You heard noice of drilling during day time. The family room that I was staying is abit dated. The dust on the bathroom counter top is missed. The small fridge is barely functioning ( not cool). Add to that, the hotel doesn’t offer complimentary parking for driving guests. Although the hotel was undergoing construction and upgrading they have allocated/ relocated things such that it did not affect my stay. Slight noise pollution during daytime but did not affect my rest at night. Overall very satisfied.

Premise is under renovation at main door entrance. There is some glue or adhesive smell when walk in to the lift. Room is spacious and check in and check out process is smooth and fast. Down side is the buffet breakfast provided has limited choice. Location wise is near to some mall or tourist attractions.

-Carpark should be bear by hotel. Basically we have paid to stay. -Counter staff need to be mindful and pleasant cause you never know if its the first time staying in the hotel.

Well maintained, Food for Breakfast should have more variety. Have some 'Kek Lapis' Layer Cakes..my 2nd time..its just needs some improvement on Breakfast meal...i attached Layer cake

A go-to hotel whenever I visit relatives here in Kuching. Good breakfast, clean room and Executive room has lovely view. Boulevard Chinese restaurant has great food and is accessible via hotel lobby link.

One of the best room with sound proof yet in Kuching, knowing the location situated right in heart of Kuching Golden Triangle and busy traffic. Most hotels like no windows at all maybe due to it fixed windows.

Outlook is quite old but inner was refurbished. Gotten an executive room facing the river. Staffs are friendly. Anyway there are still room to improve especially the cleanliness. Ants are somewhere in the room, water doesn't flow well in the toilet and the aircond is making some noise.

Building looked slightly run down but the interior isn't a let-down. Loving it when hotels still keep their carpet flooring. There's many different amenities around and location is almost perfect. Great customer service and room service. Truly a recommend.

The hotel is cheap and relatively clean but it is not designed to the western standard. The rooms are ok but they have strong musky smell. The lifts are very slow especially during the busy times. The good thing is a free car park in front of the building and late check out time . The location is quite convenient with a close proximity to the local bars and restaurants.

A bit old, unimpressive lobby, only one elevator works for all 14 floors. It's not very near the waterfront but walkable. Meeting rooms are good, food was so-so. Every room has wide windows with a good view of the city which makes up for other aspects.

Loved the staff at this hotel especially Robert ( Doorman) and Julia (Housekeeping). Very friendly and helpfull. The facilities are a bit old but for the price and location its acceptable. The aircond in the room needs to be checked. Overall loved the experience and would definately repeat again

Staying here cause it was the official events hotel. I would say they need serious upgrading. The hotel was a bit old, need to upgrade the room. I couldn't sleep on n my frist night as the sounds of motorcycles from the road was so bad, the air conditioning also felt a bit hot

I agree that this is a rather old hotel but I'm satisfied with the room I was staying at which was a premium room on the 13th floor. Comfy, quiet with a great view especially at night with all the necessary amenities and a reasonable price, what's there to complain about. A very clean hotel with great customer service at a very central location ... ~ 5-10 minutes walk to the Sarawak Museum, near to carpenter streets and also the river. Have a beautiful view looking over the Sarawak River and Astana / parliamentary house. It has a shopping mall connected it via level LG, G and level 4 where the cafe is located. Will definitely consider staying with Waterfront Hotel again...

This is probably my 5th or 6th time staying at The Waterfront Hoteland for good reason! It remains my favourite hotel in the city. Great location. 10 - 15 mins to city centre. Great staff service. Clean and comfortable room - we booked quadraple room with 2 queen beds and breakfast. Shower water pressure was good. Big room, new hotel building, all toiletries are complete. Have a kettle and water bottle. Lots of socket plug. Affordable price. Most of the restaurants nearby are non halal. But this hotel has its own cafe. Very good cuisine and affordable price.

Parking is convenient. We had a car so location is not an issue. Room size is decent and not for fussy pots. Clean. The walkway is brightly lit during the day but dim during the night. Just be aware that room 202 to 217 are next to the road so it can be noisy. We had to inform the Front Desk before they changed our torn slippers.

Extremely neat and tidy hotel at a very reasonable price. If cleanliness is your top priority then just go for this hotel, it's the best!The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because there is no hand shower/ jet spray in the toilet which I was not expecting in Malaysia! Although everything in the hotel was top notch but for people like us jet spray is necessary for hygienic purposes.

Best Hotel so far in Kuching Had Deluxe Double with City view for a week and returning for second week on 3rd February. Our room was large with huge windows unlike most modern hotels. Staff were all excellent. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable, friendly receptionist and staffs. Room is clean and staff clean up everyday. I came to attended the corporate event at the ballroom. The space can fits for 50 tables and the buffet will be at the outside of the ballroom. Good management and good services. Clean environment. Nice music sounds system.

Hmm, it’s been a while I rechecked in to Fata. This hotel is located at the heart of city centre and conveniently accessed to museum, riverfront, shopping centre. When I go into the room, am amazed by the newly refurbished. It had most of the amenities that I hadn’t expected. Super clean and can see the Sarawak signature DUN just from my window. Superb view 👍👍👍 definitely worth coming back

The staff were all very friendly as they were trying to assist us with getting to the bako national park and back. The rooms are very nicely furnished and the bathrooms are spacious.

I stayed this hotel when I was 15 years old. Now I am 45. I would congratulate the staff of the hotel who really worked hard to main the look, the cleanliness of this hotel. I also would like to thank the front line counter staff for upgrading my room to the River View Room as the room that I've booked was not yet ready (still in the cleaning process).

Stayed at this Hotel from 11th to 13th June at the Puteri Wing. This i must say was a Fabulous Wing. Everything is fine at this Hotel. Only a few shortcomings due to Towels, we had to keep on asking Housekeeping to send the towels. Next Ammenities in the Room was placed for 1 person only "why". I think Housekeeping needs to buck up. This is my second time in Kuching and my always go to hotel. Walking distance to Kuching Waterfront, IG Ice cream, DUN, Jambatan Darul Hana, India mosque and Kg Boyan. EVEN VERY CLOSE TO CAT MONUMEN. Room was spacious, got fan and air-condition, clean, great water pressure and a bit mold since the first visit. Remember to buy parking coupons ya hahahah overall I always enjoy visiting kuching.

The room is quite clean and no smell. I love to stay at here and definitely to stay here again. Just one thing need to improve ialah sila check saluran lubang air di bilik mandi. Apabila mandi air bertakung dan mengambil masa yang lama untuk surut/keluar. Over all statified to stay here.

Very dated hotel. Not so good location in terms of what is around the hotel. They should clean up the fungus growing on the walls along the walkway to the rooms. Big twin Double beds. The parking is on public parking lots but if you buy a booklet of parking tickets from them, they will put a coupon every half hour for you.

First Day- Try to adjust the aircon temperature and it suddenly turn off. Almost request for bedroom change but it turns back on after 10mins. Its an interconnected bedroom, not soundproof and less privacy. We heard person next door snoring. 2nd- TV wasn’t functioning, all black screen. The water kettle wire was loose and we have to fix it.

The location was not too bad, there is a shopping mall about 5 mins walk from the hotel. But the shopping mall does not have much food to eat though, a small food court, a few small stores that sell chinese food, fast food. But there are 4 spectacles shop, watsons and super market in case you need any daily stuff. If you willing to walk about 10 mins along the main road, you will reach the 101 night...

Good stay ! Everything needed provided well. Staff very good and helpful, there’s a kiblat direction for muslim who stays here, which is what I impressed most because other places i stayed at doesn’t have it, will repeat here again next time.
