THE BEST HOTEL AND BEST SERVICE EVER!!!!

I simply loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean. The staff was amazing. They were always ready to help and supported me in all my needs.

Don't forget the cat!! He was super cute and loved the attention.

To anyone visiting Sarawak, Kuching this is the place to stay.

Overall impressive place!
Their common area well maintained especially the toilets.

An excellent hotel in a great location! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and kind. The pool/bar area has a wonderful view of the area. Close to the river front and many things are in walking distance. I will be back again.

Nice hotel. Hotel and shopping mall in the same building, easy to buy needs. Can see beautiful Sarawak River from my room. Room very clean, spacious and comfortable. Food also good. Ballroom is big and has good facilities. I like this hotel very much!

Stayed here over a long weekend 2 weeks ago. First the pluses: location is really good, great views, very friendly staff and breakfast buffet was more than adequate. However just to set expectations, this does not feel like a 5 star hotel. The room is poorly designed. We took a 2 bedroom suite. The master bedroom is massive with a lot of useless space. The kettle and table ended up having to be put in the room as there was not even a side table in the common area. The second bedroom is a windowless tiny room
Some of the walls were peeling and our sink was blocked. The finishing on everything is just OK not particularly classy. So as some other travellers have said - this is reasonably nice but no where near anything like international 5 star. And the prices do reflect that so I think it is fair.

The view and location of the hotel is very central to the downtown area, everything seems walking distance and located right next to the shopping mall.

Breakfast food is what brought this down from 5 to 4 stars. Breakfast options could be better, at times the breakfast was cold and not a big variety.

The hotel room is very clean and beds very soft and comfy. Designed to make you in dreamland. Breakfast spread was excellent! Pastry section is a No No.

Downside: This is a four star hotel but staff attitude was bad and lack of proper training. Receptionist during my Check in did not greet me nor invite me in a queue to her table. There was no porter service to bring your luggage to hotel room I have to carry my big bags to my room with kid!!! The lady at the breakfast entry never greet guests good morning. If you are "white", all her teeth will came out shinning. I have to be the one greet her good morning first @%@%£#!!! Therefore, what services tax am i paying your hotel for ?? Maybe I should ask for service tax refund from the hotel.

Pleasant and memorable stay at their Club executive room. We were grateful for the executive lounge with tea time and dinner buffet spread. Breakfast (inclusive) was delicious and has a wide spread of food. View (facing the river) was great! Only downside is the parking at Plaza Merdeka which may be difficult to find during peak hours.
