Overall a great place to stay in the centre of Gdansk, a very nice value for money option.
I also need to add the excellent service and staff. I have left some documents in the hotel and the local team did everything to make sure that I have them back safely and quickly! That shows a very service level and dedication.
I would give it 5 stars were it not for 2 problems. First, we arrived late at night and spent several minutes walking up and down the street looking for the hotel as the sign at street level is VERY small ! Second, my husband is on medication which needs to be kept cool. However the receptionist would not allow the container to be kept in the hotel freezer. This has not been a problem in any other hotel we have stayed in, including the Puro hotel in Warsaw last year.
Stylish contemporary hotel - we loved the modern art and furnishings and location adjacent Old Town.
Gdansk was amazing during our stay -hot and sunny. We were a bit hot in the room overnight as there was a warm duvet on the bed and the aircon didn’t cool the room sufficiently but the staff provided a fan which helped a bit.
Didn’t eat at hotel as the dining area was quite dark and preferred to eat at the many outdoor restaurants in the town in the warm sunshine.
Would return though and definitely recommend this hotel.
